I’ve been fortunate to have seen Kansas live on four different occasions. Kansas is one of the most underrated and unappreciated rock bands in history. I’ve yet to hear a band that played as tight or sounds as “in studio” than Kansas; spectacular is an understatement. Peace ✌🏻

When my mother was LITERALLY on her death bed as I was pulling into the hospital parking lot that song came on the radio and it freaked me out. By the time my sister and I got up to her room she was gone.... Now I know all music on commercial radio is preprogrammed but it has made me wonder to this day about the coincidence....
My mother died unexpectedly one year ago today. On that night, my cat scratched me very deeply on my forearm while I was sleeping. He never did anything like that before or since. From what my brother said, she must have passed in the early hours of the morning like 2 or 3 am, which is right when my cat decided to randomly become a psychopath. Life is strange like that sometimes.
I was fortunate enough to have been to one of their concerts,,,New Haven, collusium,,,I am guessing 1979-80,, they sounded great! The violinist would come off stage and walk around playing,,,it was awesome! 😎✌

Too many people want to slam the power chord when it goes down to the low E riff. Just because it "feels cooler" to play I guess, but the actual riff is distinctive for specifically not doing that 🤷♂️
That's interesting and all, but the Dead Milkmen still deserve a high placement on the wall. Op Ivy deserves illumination, but the Milkmen put in the decades' of work!
