2010, I'm seventeen, first time in London, the city of my dream. I was walking alone all day along the city centre. And it was rainy that day, but I was so happy and thought I could do anything because I'd reached this place alone from another country. So, I was soaking wet when I got in my train to Cambridge, were I'd been staying. And while sitting there, in a crowded train, this song was playing in my headphones, making my feelings even more exaggerated. Still gives me thrills

2024 and I’m still rocking with you JM! I’m 30 years old now and I remember being a clueless teenager when this song came out. Could never stop singing it. So much has happened since then, but this man’s voice and music never fails to keep me going. Most underrated artist of my lifetime with so many songs that didn’t get the spotlight they deserved (On The Same Side and Get to You for example). So glad to be part of the ones that knew of this artist in his prime. Thanks and keep going James.

People need to buy his albums if they truely love what he does! He is a true musician who lives for writing and performing music that resonates with people. In my opinion he is up there with the Ed Sheeran’s of the world and was actually one of Ed’s major influences. James’ fan base will continue to grow and stay with him as he matures into one of the world’s greatest musicians. He already has a fantastic back catalogue of great songs which people will know, even if they don’t know who he is. I have followed him since day one and he just gets better and better. He is superb live. 🎶🎵

The way I interpret this song is that no matter what the rain has to happen to see the sun. Just let it rain, without rain crops don't grow and people don't eat. Rain can be a blessing in disguise so let it fall let it fall. I love this song soo much just hits my soul differently especially as I'm really feeling the rain hard right now. But Gods got me in his prayers and you also.

My lunch, cold and rainy weather James Morrison is just soo perfect!
When we all played at Ryans bar in Derby on the open mic we all knew he was good. That distinctive voice. Our fellow guitarist was teaching him to play the guitar and I have played with Kevin a number of times. It is sad to see his negative reply on Derby. There were many very good musicians at the open mike that will never be heard and it is a good job Kevin and the owner of Ryans bar took an interest in James and Kev as a PR rep of Warner brothers took him to the record company. The rest is history. All Im going to say James is don't forget Derby and all the really good musicians who will never be see or heard....as well you are an incredible song writer and have an amazing gift. The horrific experience that's happened is devistating but one day you will get up as time heals. All of us wish you well and look forward to great songs coming from you one day!!!
