    Buehler, Ohtani, Glassnow, Yamamoto, Fried, Sasaki,
    Bullpen: Kershaw, May, Gonsolin, Miller, Trienen, Banda, Vesia, Braiser, Bazooka, Honeywell, Grove, Sheehan, Knack
    Closer: Kopech, Henriquez

    I do think that when Soto signed a new long term contract to a team, that's when these free agents start to sign new contracts/extensions. Domino effect. But if I'm the Dodgers, I'll bring back Teo, Walker, Treinen and Kiké. Sign Adames, get Tanner Scott, one of Sasaki, Fried, Snell or Burnes, then we're good to go.

      Rotation:
      Yamamoto, Glasnow, Ohtani, Fried or Beuhler, Miller/Kershaw, Roki Sasaki
      Bullpen
      Banda, Brasier, Gonsolin, Kopech, May, Phillips, Vesia, Treinen…
      Miller starts season in rotation till Kershaw returns. Then he could go to pen or back to OKC. Gosolin and May would be swing relievers/ spot starters. Would love to see Buehler back.

    As long as we have a pitch clock timer. All pitchers will be on the injury list. It is not enough recover time. MLB is ruining every pitchers arm. I would go on strike and demand no more pitch clock. They are not getting anymore fans with or without it. Fact of the matter is you either love baseball or you don’t. Pitch clock is not bring in fans. Just destroying arms!

      Absolutely 💯 that's when all the injures started! Once they changed the pitch count to 20 seconds is when all the pitchers are out a year to two years! They have to realize that by now you'd think!!!!

  • @noylakers9755

    Glasnow is the only pitcher that I would want to pitch over 150 innings and he has never hit that mark. Unless we sign an ace, the pitchers that are currently signed or projected to be signed are either too young and you don't want to destroy their arm or they are coming back from injury. So yeah, a 6-man rotation would work for the champs. We want them fresh for October. Lets get the LA Japanese community to help bring Roki, bring back Buehler for 1 yr 13-16mill, and an ace. Lets get Crochet and Robert with Bobby Miller, Outman, and prospects (not including Josue De Paula). I think Miller can be really good on another team, but the lights of LA is a bit too bright for him.

    My Dream 6-man rotation:
    1) Sandy Koufax
    2) Don Drysdale
    3) Fernando
    Valenzuela
    4) Don Sutton
    5) Tommy John
    6) Clayton Kershaw
    What do you think this rotation of these legends in their prime would cost today?
    FYI - In 1965 the Dodgers won the World Series with Koufax’s record 26-8, 2.04 ERA, 382 K’s & 27 complete games and Drysdale’s record of 23-12, 2.77 ERA, 210 K’s & 20 complete games. Their salaries that year were $70,000 each. Be for spring training the following year, they teamed up to try to negotiate raises, which was unheard of back then, as there was no free agency and the only way for players to move to another team was if they were traded, so because players were stuck to the team that held their contract, contracts were all for 1 year since there was no risk of losing a player and owners told players what they would be paid with no negotiation. Koufax & Drysdale not only tried to negotiate but we’re asking to be paid $150,000 each. When the team said No, they said they wouldn’t play until they got the salaries they wanted. They didn’t report for Spring training and right before the season started, the Dodgers agreed to increase their salaries to $125,090 for Koufax and $110,000 for Drysdale for the 1966 season (which was Sandy’s last season). Just a point of reference to show how drastically different the contract process and salaries are today compared to back when Koufax & Drysdale were in their prime years.

    My 6 man rotation: Glasnow, Yamamoto, Ohtani (Gonsolin or Free Agent- the usual suspects, if SO is not ready) Gonsolin and Buehler. Bueher still needs to prove to me he can bring it in the regular season. If we want Crochet we need to trade Lux, Taylor (we pay half his salary) Rushing Outman and Mike Grove. That would clear space iin the 40 man roster and allow for some real position call ups.🔥🔥🔥

    You can do a 5 man rotation to keep the same number of days rest for the starters but just give them a day off every few. And hold off on recovering pitchers til after all star week so the best pitchers are ready for postseason. Let's not play our best pitchers from opening day just to see them miss postseason.
    Not like baseball penalizes teams if key players DNP like NBA does.

    • @gabe0214
      @gabe0214 День назад

      The only way Ohtani pitches is if he starts. If he comes in as a starter, he doesn't have to be removed from the lineup when they remove him as a pitcher. If he comes in as a reliever, once he gets removed as a pitcher, he also gets removed as a hitter. So because of the rules, it makes sense to keep him exclusively as a starter.

      @@gabe0214there is no reason as to why Ohtani needs to DH on the days he pitches. This is how the Angels overused Ohtani and why he can never finish a complete season as a DH and full time starting pitcher. He never even made it to post season either with the Angels.
      So on days Ohtani pitches, Will Smith can DH or even Freeman and allow Munch to play 1B. There are different options for the regular season.
      Come post season, if Ohtani wants to start and try to pace 6 innings then fine. In order to do this though, Ohtani should be 6th in the rotation and skip ever other rotation.
      This is all about winning more World Series.

  • @marcbochner7733
    @marcbochner7733 19 часов назад

    as an angel fan who loves Shohei Ohtani both as a human being and as a ball player, I got to tell you you’re gonna build a six men rotation, which is going to damage the other five and then Ohtani’s going to get hurt halfway through the season and go back to being a hitter only.
    At some point, someone’s gonna have to figure out a guy that’s already had three arm surgeries and a knee surgery who couldn’t handle being a two-way player when he was younger is not gonna be any better at it as he ages
    make him an outfielder, and he will be the best outfielder in the game
