I'm starting to plant potted strawberries in my area and this is really interesting now . 😊
I soaked strawberries in very salty water yesterday and found no bugs! How come all these videos about soaking strawberries in salt water had bugs and ironically I saw no bugs in mine?
is it organic ?
I’m the same. I’ve bought organic/non organic strawberries all my life and always soaked my strawberries and other fruits and still never came across these little critters. I still love strawberries.

I saw a tiny white worm come out of the strawberry. Then when it was stirred it dislodged and swam onto another strawberry. However when you added the vinegar it seemed to die and sunk to the bottom.

Larvae of fruit flies can be in strawberries. Very tiny, worms,though. Really need flashlight to see them

Maybe you don't have enough salt? I have heard many ppl saying it's true. Never know though. Lol.

My friend and me tried and found a tiny seed looking bug
no bugs. i also tried it at hyome. nothing. those are small pices from the fruiet aand the leafe
real! i got a magnifying glass and i did that and i saw a crawly worm the size of a stawberry seed

They’re not worms 🤦🏻♀️ it’s larvae of a fruit fly.
@@melonivk But they basically under the same family in society, if they wiggle, slimy and no visible eyes people would just say worms

how to kill bugs inside your strawberry just add a oil i mean motor oil
Soak for 30 minutes not 5 and they are very very small. You'll need very good eyes or a magnifying glass or a flash light like other commenters have said to use to see them.

You're supposed to let them soak for awhile (up to 30 minutes)

I soaked my strawberries in vinegar with no water. A lot of bugs came out instantly, it turned me off, so no more strawberries for my family and I! Just for the record my strawberries were organic. I'm sorry but it grossed me out!!😫😫
