Thank you for confirming that this is Kisukuma language. I am Burundian and I lived in Tanzania as a refugee (1977-1982, 1984/1985). I worked in Bulyankulu (Kahama District) and a few kilometers north of Nzega (Nzega District) but I learned just a few Sukuma words (mwadila, mwangaluka,.CHAGULAGA..), I was concentrating on Swahili language. I am glad to hear that now there are modern gold mines in those places and that a metal refinery will be built in the town of Kahama to produce nickel from Kabanga nickel mine (near the Tanzania/Burundi border) and gold from other mines in the area south of Lake Victoria.
