Wow! That boat looked packed, but you guys didn't seem to be crowded at all out in the water. Excellent video & I might now try to get the rest of my family to snorkel on KW day when we cruise in March. Thanks!
We definitely recommend snorkeling in Key West! It's so true it seems like you won't have space to explore but then in the water you can venture pretty far. Another great excursion is renting bicycles and riding to Fort Zachary beach. We went there in our Key West Beaches video. Have a great time!

Looks like you two had a great time---we have done that trip and loved it. FYI put a red colored filter over your lens and it will make the underwater videos look vibrant.

Hello, I am going to Miami in august and we are looking to go snorkeling, we found one that was like $122 a person, which snorkeling company was this with? Great video btw!
Thanks so much Amy! There are a few good excursion companies down in Key West but we went with Fury Watersports. They had a package at a good price that included jet skiing, parasailing, sunset cruise, and snorkeling so it was a great deal. You'll have to check and see if they're offering something similar if you're planning on doing all the other fun things together. Have a blast and thanks for watching!

I’ve traveled the world but my wife has not. Wanting to get the best snorkeling trip possible as it will be her first time. EXCELLENT ADVICE on taking the first morning trip out there. That is fantastic info that I did not think of. What time in morning?? 6 o’clock-ish or more like 9 -ish???
Thanks so much for the comment! Usually the first excursion probably goes out after 8 so probably around 9am. The other super important thing is to make sure to check the weather! If it's very windy they won't go out since it makes the water choppy. We always love getting out on a catamaran in Key West every time we go! We were actually just there a month ago but couldn't book an excursion since it was too windy! Good luck on your trip! 😊🌊🐠
We have 2nd largest reef in the world. A living coral reef here in Puerto Morelos México which is considered “North America”.
It's so amazing having such a beautiful reef here in the West. Usually when anyone thinks about the great coral reefs in the world they think of the Great Barrier Reef in Australia but we're very lucky to have such an amazing reef here too! Thanks for sharing! 😊
I liked your video and I just wanted to ask as I am a non swimmer, can I do all this under water activities? I am kind of scared
Hi! Thank you for the comment! It's definitely recommended to be able to swim for any water activities, although there are some excursions that might still work for you. The boat ride itself is very enjoyable, and we're pretty sure this specific excursion had floating noodles that you could float on in the water. Plus always use a floatation device!

I’m not the best swimmer😅 we’re those life jackets that you had helpful? I’m gonna be in the keys next month and doing this same thing!
That's awesome that you're visiting the Keys soon. We're jealous! Those little jackets don't do anything until you blow them up on the surface. With them inflated though you do float on top of the water which helps a ton if it's hard to swim. Have fun!
I enjoyed your video. Question please, you look like you were swimming somewhat far from the catamaran. Did you have to be wary of any strong currents that carry you further away from the boat? I’m a strong swimmer but I am still like to be aware of things.
Thanks so much for the question! On the different times that we've gone, the boats park in pretty calm waters that's very clear so we didn't notice any strong currents. I'm sure they wouldn't put people at risk like that. During high winds we've even had our tours cancelled before so they're always watching out for that. It's a fun excursion though. Enjoy your trip!

Did this catamaran have a bathroom by chance??
Yes! Every catamaran we've been on through the tours has had a bathroom which is nice. It's a typical marine flush toilet that's located downstairs. Hope that helps!
