I bought it for 30€. With a wheel the game is enjoyable but its a grind. Good thing about the game is the rivals mode (online time attack), and the pace setter events. Easy platinium trophy too if you spent some time on it. If you like grid i would recommend it when its on sale. The season pass (35€) costs more than the game in my case.
I'm gonna paste a comment I left elsewhere because well, my thoughts haven't changed in the slightest in regards to this. I tried 30 mins of it and I simply couldn't bring myself to play any longer (not to mention the game itself had me hostage by not letting me access any sort of setting menu until I'd completed the first couple of races). It has nothing to it that would make me pick it over any other generic arcade street racer, nevermind actually good series like Forza..the VR would have been an interesting feature, except I can't be bothered immersing myself that much in a game that quite simply, bored me in half an hour. The marketing itself has been all over the place, in Ian Bell's words: "All of the sim you could want with all of the fun you could want. Handling is massively improved, input on pads is transformed and FFB is amazing. The career mode is massively involved." Leaving out the blatant false advertising, I don't think even marketing it as a mobile game port would have saved the game. They seemed to focus it all on the 'definitive pilot experience' that they call their career mode, and yet PC2 had a much more rewarding career than PC3's back to back 2-lap races. I could've gotten behind the old school GT approach of unlocking cars and slowly upgrading them to make them competitive, but PC3 makes it completely pointless, as you can only afford 1 or 2 minor upgrades before you accidentally lock your car out of its group and are unable to race anymore, resulting in having to reset the whole game if you don't have enough credits left to downgrade. It's all a series of choices that make absolutely no sense, more so considering the somewhat solid background they could've easily built on. I guess the signs were all there though, SMS giving Reiza their engine for AMS2 should've been a red flag for PC fans. The fact they stuck to the 'Community Assisted Racing Simulator' name is just spitting in the face of the people who made the series possible. Bottom line is, if you expected an upgraded PC2, this is not for you. If you wanted a more arcade-y racing game with good customisation, nice tracks and cars, play Forza Horizon..or anything else, really. We all expected Project Cars 3 to raise the bar before it was even announced, then we were lied to, and now that it's out, even those who were ok with playing an arcade got an unfinished, unpolished, terrible game, with no purpose or aim.
I like project cars 1, it's a bit janky and inconsistent, but the formula rookie, c and b cars are genuine fun to drive. I've spent so much time doing laps a spa to see how different cars do. My biggest peeve is that the cars could be accelerating in a straight line and all of a sudden lose ALL traction and just spin off to the side for no reason whatsoever
Even as an arcade game PC3 barely does anything right, especially the actual gameplay which is downright awful.. - magic boosting rubber band AI, pulling away out of turns even when using the exact same car as the player - brain dead ram to pass AI - AI cars all crammed together closer than morning rush hour traffic, driving 2 or 3 wide at every turn while bumping off of each other - magic brakes with insane stopping power - magic tires with maximum grip rain or shine - zero damage effects to car performance, ram away just like the AI! - gamepad control with so many hidden assists it removes any feeling of dynamic car behavior and basically drives itself.. yep their testers were getting better lap-times compared to using a wheel. Lol What? The above issues only describe the actual 'racing gameplay experience' portion, which is THE most important part of any racing game, regardless of sim vs arcade style. Not even going to mention the plethora of other major problems and terrible design decisions.
Even funny GRID 2019 has fun ai to compete with ai seems do mistakes like real player Such as Locking up wheels or slips out on exiting corners and also ai fights well That reason i sometimes boot up GRID 2019 but Pcars Ai is allways dumb down since first game they usually cheats over straght or full throttling into Water puddles on corners
@@leo523 grid autosport was alright. i hated the, i think it was tuner class though. had all the cars i like but you barely needed brakes for the corners, never needed anything other than 100% throttle. was impossible to spin out etc. all with assists off. felt horrible to me. other cars were good though. i liked the formula one type cars, they were tough to drive and required delicate throttle etc.
And it reflects what most of us are after I think... What you say on 07:28 is exactly what I pointed out before on PC2 development, but now even more so on PC3... Again, as said in video & by me: nothing against a good arcade racer, hell next to the last Need For Speed, next to DiRT, Wreckfest and FH4 I do my simracing in ACC (occasionally in AC, but just for trying out formula cars). Why? Only one sim title on a sport I like really much: gt racing. And it does replicate it well, it eats time to learn a track, a car, dial yourself in: but that's also fun. What's also fun is jumping in an arcade racer and just blasting through the tracks, fictional or real. But, that progression, the bonkers nature, the graphics then have to live up to it. Take FH4 to this and you'll see graphically FH4 is lightyears ahead, as well lightyears ahead in terms of that "tuning" or "upgrading" your car aspect. It's nothing new. Even the last Need For Speed was better in that department. It is sad it is conceived so badly, I would've liked a good arcade racer, or simcade even. But it isn't. I even prefer the boring grindy GRID then over this mess... No that's not true, I would rather like a good PC3 fixed, optimized, decent graphics, better economy, visuals when upgrading. Because now I'll fall back to FH4 for those - and what I mess in arcade racers is "real tracks" + a better or at least more in tune handling model (even if toned down, not bad for this type of game), which is what PC3 can bring!
The bad thing about that I has ask for my money back because they did not have any GT3 cars in the game not yet any way they say is coming I dont have to be waiting
8:00 Raceroom is pretty great too for casual sim racers. Just you know, they usually get server maintenance, which make me wish they have a backup server or offline mode or something, which idk if that's possible for a small team, but I hope they can do that.
Ermin, I think now you will be told to make a Ermin Racing Simulator by SMS since you know so well how to make one. They did to me when I had too much criticism like this within WMD. In the end though, I guess this is how far they can get without community guidance that hinderd their development according to them and was cut out of the equation this round.
To be honest calling this pcars3 leaves a bad taste in the mouth. Sure I have zero problem making a gtsport forza clone, just call it that from the outset, the brand is knackered now. Automobilta 2 the true successor.
Thank you Ermin. The previous "review" was understandable, but this serious take was really needed after I saw some comments on other channels accusing the reviewers of being "simps" for not straight up bashing the game like you did. It's a shame what happened to this series, a perfect example of greed over passion. I'm mainly an AC guy now but I still like PC2 despite its flaws... and I guess I'll be sticking to it.
Imagine damage model from first GRiD with Shift 2 level of car modification with PCars 3 physics (adjusted for more authentic feel on gamepad), online ranking system and full weather simulation from madness engine... This is arcade game I would spend hours playing and considered buying DLCs.
Damage model from DiRT Rally 2.0, car customization from Forza Horizon 4, physics from PCars 3, online ranking system from Gran Turismo Sport and weather from F1 2020.
@@markisaki979 Also all games mentioned in my comment are currently owned by Codemasters. This is the reason why I think game like that could be created and it's not just a fairytale.
I think sim-racers just need to let their favorite scapegoat go and return to the games they enjoy. It's not a sim, and once one can accept that, there's a lot of fun to be had, if your pride can surmount the shame of playing with a controller that is. Actually, for an arcade racer, it's one of the better games on the current market, it's a little hidden gem for those who can appreciate it in fact. It has the advantage to be the descendend of a family of sim-racing games, which in it's third installment, took another approach to game design. In that way it still benefits from a good game engine which emulates real-life car behavior quite adequately, yet due to it's makeover dispenses itself of all the complexities and depth which a mere mortal gamer like me would consider as boring or dreary. Yes, it's not a sim-racer, and I understand the people who were rightfully disappointed at what project cars has become, but if you can get over that, there's very fun arcade racer here to enjoy.
2:28 "...you can still feel an immensely capable and nuanced simulation engine underneath it all." Exactly, so turn that simulation engine over to somebody who cares (say, Reiza); and let them make a driving simulation. SMS can tackle the arcade portion. Great video Ermin!
Unoptimized is an understatement, weather seems to give extra dofficulties to drop fps from5 to 20 randomly and some cars seem to giving fps drops as well
I haven't bought the game but after watching reviews I feel like a lot of this will be made better in the first couple patches because they don't seem unfixable

I think they multiplayer in this game is great and for anyone on the fence wait for a sale honestly, I believe you will have a blast online.
I'm shocked by the disrespect that SMS has shown towards the player base that crowdfunded PC1. If anything, you have an obligation to commit and develop what players are looking for, if you plan to use the name PC3 and continue that legacy.
PC1 crowdfunding was nearly 10 years ago.... You can't expect any developer to be your lifetime servant just because you gave them $40 a decade ago. Should Sony give you a free new 65" TV every year for the rest of your life, just because you bought a 14" black & white portable 40 years ago?
@@HyperBlueWolf not the point. It's about respect to the PC brand and fans. Wanna make an arcade game? Sure, it's your fucking company. But call it "Speedy cars" or something, not PC3
Dude, you are so out of whack with that comment. It was NOT a typical crowd funding. We got our MONEY BACK + more. SMS doesn't owe anybody anything. They can do what the heck they want. Unfortunately they ended up creating a bad game but that's their prerogative.
I just got it and I've been enjoying it too, it doesn't feel much different from PC2 on a wheel tbh. If you look at it like you would at GT Sport, it's actually a really nice game. The physics feel better and mpre realistic than GT Sport. On GT, it feels like most cars are on rails, specially GT3 cars. I love how those feel on PC2 and PC3. They have good grip but will still spin out if you aren't careful. The road cars feel like they have better grip than on GTS, both in PC2 and PC3, but at the same time they encourage more of a dirty driving, they make you work harder to control them and drive fast. This game isn't as bad as people are making it look like. The menus might not be the prettiest, but they sure are intuitive and easy to use. I was also one of those people talking crap about this game, until i started to look at it for what it was and not for what it should've been, decided to give it a go, along with a friend, and it turned out to feel a lot better than i expected.
There are plenty of other realistic sim games out there you can continue to play. As for arcade games, as long as this one is better than Codemasters grid re-release I’m still definitely considering PC 3
My theory of what happened: They were making PC3 as a mobile game and when they were almost finished they found out the game engine didn't work on mobile. They then quickly changed up some things released it to consoles and PC instead.
@Ermin - is there in the settings menu of PC3 for Pc a setting for UDP Datastream? I think i have seen it in a video. On my PS4 version is no option for UDP.
I think we can kinda blame this one on codemasters. PC2 wasn't a bad game, it just had one too many flaw. Paul Rustchynsky was the game director of this one and usually knows what he is doing, combining this with the team at Slighlty Mad something just feels wrong and maybe rushed.
Hey Ermin, oi oi oi and all that. Thanks for the honest review mate. Nothing worse than being "influenced" into buying someone's second class products as I was with PC2.
I'm just glad people are at last seeing sms as a bunch of charlatans. Telling the public what their game will do,but 3 times in a row now its done none of the 'hype' pre-release spraff. Ian Bell is a lying thief!
Opinions vary... on PC, with better alternatives, yes SMS look a bit shady. On console, despite the bugs, SMS delivered the best sim experience ever in PC2. If you had an upper tier console, that is...
D V Yet some managed. In fact, some WR’s are set on pad. It’s not unplayable. It’s just not noob easy. Bottom line, for the cost of PC3 deluxe and all DLC, you could find a used baseline wheel. And play what you like rather than be forced into lousy choices because you are stuck on a pad.

What a amazing review of a game that I didn't know what to do about getting or not getting. It is such a shame that the developers of project cars 3 could be so confused about what they should have created for this game. There's nothing wrong with choosing between simulation or arcade but this was a shockingly bad way to go about things. Like you said this game engine has so much potential. I genuinely hope they have not destroyed there place within this long running incredible industry that is racing games. I commend your review of this game. Well done.

The review is great and entertaining. I actually really like the game, although the fact that the game is based around finding yourself cluttered and bumping other 20 cars in turn 1 is absolutely right. rolling starts would immensely help that
you nailed it ! it is very inconsistent across the board and causes the fans on my 2080 to go into a spinning rage! we should have a graphics engine from them that has been tweaked since PC1 to run like a greased ferret ! they did it in ACC.

Holy crap.. I'm definitely new to sim racing. I've always played Gran Turismo games growing up. Now I'm running PC 🙂 so last year I decided to buy assetto Corsa. I loved it BUT I was gaming on keyboard 😂😂 So just recently I got my first wheel and pedals. I love it just love it So I was thinking about buying this game but before the reviews started pouring out, I already caught up with the slight controversy of the Project Cars games. So far every review I have seen is consistent and just not doing it for me to give the game a shot. Thanks for saving me money lol
after playing, I've realised that the reason that the ai will wreck you on straights is because, they have instant shifts, the effect is even worse if you have a car with h pattern
Just for the record though, it was stated in the other video Project Cars 2 improved from PC1 and was expected to improve on PC3 but you also have to keep in mind that's when Codemasters bought them and even though I don't know I'm sure it's safe to guess that CodeMasters influenced how Project Cars 3 came out. I don't think it's fair to jump all over Slightly Mad Studios. Slightly Mad came out with two games trying to be what they set out to be and as with anything it was a work in progress but when you have a new owner come in things can and in most cases change if the new owners want a change. As anyone knows whoever is spending the money usually has control over the final product. I know what I'm saying isn't revolutionary BUT it was said to be put out there as food for thought for those who didn't think of it. What do you guys think?
Spa and Le Mans are "missing" because they will probably be released as some goofy season pass/DLC. That's the video game world today; release a half finished game, make your consumer pay $60 to beta test the damn thing (why pay people to do that when you can just charge your consumer full price anyways???) and then add the unfinished content as a "deluxe" or "special edition" to squeeze some extra cash out of the consumer.
@@charlizesampson2650 I just happen to get into SIM racing years after it came out so the whole game for me ended up being $12 lol. Just have to be slow to the party I guess :)
So Igor Fraga and Mikail Hizal are casual racers according to you ? Did I understand that right ? The FIA GT manufacturer and nations cup are casual competitions ? Is that correct ?
I feel so sad. The first Project Cars was the game that made me get into sim racing. When I saw what they did to the third instalment... I really wanted to cry.
What they did to PC2: Released it half finished and never fixed the bugs n problems(Dumb ai, inconsistent physics etc.). Was the last SMS game bought by me.
Great review. I wish I had resisted the temptation to give the game a go. I know it was always trendy among the sim community to diss PCars 1 and 2 but I genuinely like them. I only game on console so it was nice to have some sims to play. PCars 1 made me go and purchase a wheel. PCars 3 is just awful with a wheel, feels like the cars are floating. The AI is absolutely terrible too. I very much enjoy racing the AI in PCars 2 and it also looks graphically superior to 3
Good to know that Automobilista 2, which I just got in a Humble Bundle with some of the other big ones, is basically like a follow-up to the first two Project CARS games. - Because for the longest time I was considering still giving those older ones a try, or at least one of them, even though I'd already decided against them (because a person can't play everything). - I didn't even know they used the same engine for it, which is kind of weird as well, since it's basically SMS's proprietary engine, but I guess they licensed it out. - And I also won't (effectively) give EA any money anymore when it comes to racers. Because I don't even agree with what they've done with "NFS" in the last 15-20 years, and I realized (only recently) that Forza actually does the essence of NFS better than NFS itself, and NFS basically became "Burnout" (which makes sense considering Criterion took over as far back as 2010). - Ironically, the only NSF-games I would still consider are the "Shift" ones, even though they're absolutely NOT what I'd want out of NFS-games. But they're such outliers that they're original enough to consider. And I didn't know those were by SMS as well. - Anyway, I've decided to just stick with Assetto and Automobilista, which seem very similar in terms of quality and how serious the creators take it (fingers crossed that Kunos and Reiza will stay independent for at least a good while), and then Forza and I suppose GT for the arcade-ish side of things.
Keep in mind that they game just came out recently. There will be plenty of patches etc. but right now I’m gonna stick with project cars 2. Where it has LeMans when it doesn’t on 3. Which piss me off. Don’t waste your money until they do something about this game
Thanks for this review Ermin, enjoyed this way more than the sarcastic review. Didn't feel like you gave it a fair shot in that one. After the dev threw his toys out of the pram with his comment on Ermin's PCe video, I thought that the ultra sarcastic approach was more than justified. It got a whole load of attention and it's what SMS probably feared most. I am glad, however, it has been followed up by a very tidy, succinct and fair review. I agree. I thought the first review was too much - he seems to be taking this far too personally. Even in this review, he seems way to preoccupied with the politics and business practices of the developers. He just cannot simply review the game on its own merits.

All in all this is a very on point and fair review - which echoes many others. Why personal? The marketing itself has been all over the place, in Ian Bell's words:
"All of the sim you could want with all of the fun you could want. Handling is massively improved, input on pads is transformed and FFB is amazing. The career mode is massively involved."
Leaving out the blatant false advertising, I don't think even marketing it as a mobile game port would have saved the game.
3:15 that rain graphics is to brake any heart!
Thanks Ermin, another killing review
I like project cars 1, it's a bit janky and inconsistent, but the formula rookie, c and b cars are genuine fun to drive. I've spent so much time doing laps a spa to see how different cars do. My biggest peeve is that the cars could be accelerating in a straight line and all of a sudden lose ALL traction and just spin off to the side for no reason whatsoever
Even as an arcade game PC3 barely does anything right, especially the actual gameplay which is downright awful..
- magic boosting rubber band AI, pulling away out of turns even when using the exact same car as the player
- brain dead ram to pass AI
- AI cars all crammed together closer than morning rush hour traffic, driving 2 or 3 wide at every turn while bumping off of each other
- magic brakes with insane stopping power
- magic tires with maximum grip rain or shine
- zero damage effects to car performance, ram away just like the AI!
Even funny GRID 2019 has fun ai to compete with
ai seems do mistakes like real player
Such as Locking up wheels or slips out on exiting corners and also ai fights well
That reason i sometimes boot up GRID 2019 but Pcars Ai is allways dumb down since first game they usually cheats over straght or full throttling into Water puddles on corners
Last line reminded me of F1 2014's controller handling
@Massimo De Grazia F1 2020
@Massimo De Grazia Maybe Forza on controller. But forget Forza on wheel. Or Grid Autosport.
I'll stick with PCars 2 then. Thanks for the review!
Same. Just got it from last week’s steam autumn sale, and it’s so enjoyable I don’t even think about pcars 3
Sell it instal ac and that's it. Gt is good to. I will sell pc3 because is garbage
At least we have Automobilista 2
they release it on ps4 or ps5. I don't have a pc so I am kind of hoping some will pop up. GT7 will be great but not a full sim
The bad thing about that I has ask for my money back because they did not have any GT3 cars in the game not yet any way they say is coming I dont have to be waiting
10:26
'Dont Simp' on the number plate lmao.

Raceroom is pretty great too for casual sim racers.
Well am having a lot of fun with Project CARS 3 and am getting a very strong vibe of NFS Shift
Its like that popular business quote, “If you try to satisfy everyone, you satisfy no one.”
I enjoyed your review video of PC3. Thanks for the hard work.
@@markisaki979 * Weather from Automobilista 2

Pc3 physics? More like Pc2
@@Manuel-zc7po both feel good tbh, but PC2 is still the more realistic one
2:28 "...you can still feel an immensely capable and nuanced simulation engine underneath it all."
Exactly, so turn that simulation engine over to somebody who cares (say, Reiza); and let them make a driving simulation. SMS can tackle the arcade portion.
Great video Ermin!
James Clausen I’m praying the next gen consoles can run this gen’s PC sims. Reiza have hinted about a console port.
That’s what’s happened already - the arcade portion is called PC3 and the driving simulation version is called AMS2.
@@PeteBaldwin And meanwhile, back in the real world where not every sim driver has a PC...
GR8 REVIEW MAN.
U pointed out everything that needed to be pointed out in this case, including SMS backstabbing the community.
it's like they're simply porting what has to be a mobile game but didn't even delivered that one
the one game where GT3, V8 super cars, and a sesto elemento are in the same class
Better luck with PC4.
I am sad now. This should have been much much more, I loved Pcars 2 even playing on my Xbox, but this is just madness
I'm a casual racer and I've played 5 hrs of this game and I'm loving it graphics could be a little better but racing online against others is super intense and satisfying single-player campaign was okay nothing amazing but not totally trash AI are too aggressive pushing you out wide all the time but who buys racing games for the campaign. I think they multiplayer in this game is great and for anyone on the fence wait for a sale honestly, I believe you will have a blast online.
After all, Ian Bell is PROUD, and that is the most important thing. xD
@@HyperBlueWolf But it would be OK if they sold you a microwave called PlayStation 5?
Cry me a river you probably vibrate your chair and desk to simualte racing cars
@@HyperBlueWolf not the point. It's about respect to the PC brand and fans. Wanna make an arcade game? Sure, it's your fucking company. But call it "Speedy cars" or something, not PC3
Dude, you are so out of whack with that comment. It was NOT a typical crowd funding. We got our MONEY BACK + more. SMS doesn't owe anybody anything. They can do what the heck they want. Unfortunately they ended up creating a bad game but that's their prerogative.
5:50 that's not a bug, silly Ermin, that's a feature! It helps you see the corner apexes better. :-D
It's sad everyone bashes this game I've had a great time playing it! Minus the occasional bugs like frame rate drops
Yes..please spread this!!! SMS is awful
Opinions vary... on PC, with better alternatives, yes SMS look a bit shady. On console, despite the bugs, SMS delivered the best sim experience ever in PC2. If you had an upper tier console, that is...
@@1RolandG70 an unplayable experience on gamepad
D V Yet some managed. In fact, some WR’s are set on pad. It’s not unplayable. It’s just not noob easy. Bottom line, for the cost of PC3 deluxe and all DLC, you could find a used baseline wheel. And play what you like rather than be forced into lousy choices because you are stuck on a pad.
@@1RolandG70 lmao defensive much? I have no interest sitting down using a wheel to drive in a video game...a video game. Good man!
love both reviews!!
Well done.
We're gonna take a chill review

Oh, and they're responsible for the latest fast and furious game.
Great video on Project Cars 3, I really loved it and I love that game! 😃❤️
Nice follow up, thanks for the ultra honest review, hope this sends messages to all developers about what happens when you mislead the sum racing community. 👍
Bro, you should do 2 vids for every game you review
As funny as the other video was I prefer this one way more. The other one was biased and just sounded like u were mad bc u didn’t get an early version of the game. Thanks for a killing review Ermin!
The review is great and entertaining. I actually really like the game, although the fact that the game is based around finding yourself cluttered and bumping other 20 cars in turn 1 is absolutely right. rolling starts would immensely help that

Great review again. Honest and directly to the point, I totally agree with all what was said 👊🏻
Looking like csr 2 on mobile
I just got this game, after a few races I upgraded my car and now I cannot enter a race because its class is too high, how the hell do I unequip the upgrades?
guys, it all makes sense now! Project cars 3 is Project Cars GO
Holy crap.. I'm definitely new to sim racing.
I've always played Gran Turismo games growing up.
Now I'm running PC 🙂 so last year I decided to buy assetto Corsa. I loved it BUT I was gaming on keyboard 😂😂
So just recently I got my first wheel and pedals. I love it just love it
So I was thinking about buying this game but before the reviews started pouring out, I already caught up with the slight controversy of the Project Cars games.
So far every review I have seen is consistent and just not doing it for me to give the game a shot.
Thanks for saving me money lol
Why the hell did they remove Spa Franchorchamps if it's in project cars 2?
after playing, I've realised that the reason that the ai will wreck you on straights is because, they have instant shifts, the effect is even worse if you have a car with h pattern
Just like Assetto Corsa then. Which according to many people is a great game
@@charlizesampson2650 I just happen to get into SIM racing years after it came out so the whole game for me ended up being $12 lol. Just have to be slow to the party I guess :)
Thank you for doing the lord's work..
The replay especially in those mazdas looked like granturismo 6 😂
So Igor Fraga and Mikail Hizal are casual racers according to you ? Did I understand that right ? The FIA GT manufacturer and nations cup are casual competitions ? Is that correct ?
I have a Question, should i get this game on my xbox(brcause it has Controller and more power) or my pc(with a weel)?
I Actually Like this Game. I love Indycar Racing. And the cars are Incredible
Was a sad end to a promising series. I still enjoy PC 1.
Cracking review!
I'm getting Sebastian Loeb Rally flashbacks
I feel so sad. The first Project Cars was the game that made me get into sim racing. When I saw what they did to the third instalment... I really wanted to cry.
glad you did this, that last one was a bit much... but very funny
Was looking at your previous video and couldn't help but ask myself 'Is he being sarcastic or not?'... Guess I got my answer. Good vid!
What they did to PC2: Released it half finished and never fixed the bugs n problems(Dumb ai, inconsistent physics etc.). Was the last SMS game bought by me.
Strange that as soon as Codemasters got its hand on Project CARS, they made a TOCA Race Driver game out of it.
I very much enjoy racing the AI in PCars 2 and it also looks graphically superior to 3
I agree that AMS2 is really well done.

Never seen so much "honest review" about a game on yt
I get why you are mad at SMS and Codemasters, but the sarcastic tone really felt like a childish approach. This review is wonderful, and feels a lot more like you're giving it a fair judgment.
And I don't know if I'm right but it doesn't feel like you're putting up and act in this review, which I like a lot more
After the dev threw his toys out of the pram with his comment on Ermin's PCe video, I thought that the ultra sarcastic approach was more than justified. It got a whole load of attention and it's what SMS probably feared most.
I am glad, however, it has been followed up by a very tidy, succinct and fair review. It shows that the last video was not simply childish, but was very well produced seething comedy.
And it reflects what most of us are after I think...

I agree. I thought the first review was too much - he seems to be taking this far too personally. Even in this review, he seems way to preoccupied with the politics and business practices of the developers. He just cannot simply review the game on its own merits.
But he did review in on its own merits@@grrinc, you can listen to it. Yes of course he mentions some politics but also says he understands some of that. All in all this is a very on point and fair review - which echoes many others. Why personal? Well we know what SMS can do and that is is a good team of devs, when a crew can't do it's work well, it's a shame really.. And sometimes that leads to things like that. Certainly if a captain of a ship is touting that it's the best game ever....
late respond to this game but anuways , what you Ermz say aboute it is spot on how it works driving in laps and races , your given almoast nothing to reach first place in some cases , and back n forth player feels like the opponents goes back n forth in speed during races laps , the others can run through the curves with almoast full speed with a tiny tiny brake before the curves while the player has to really really execute a HARD brake in order to take the curves at all , have noticed that through all the races i done playing this game PJC3 , HUGE shame really it is , then there are other issues that the players noticed during the play , from nowere one or a few cars can get a HUGE speed when almoast reached the last laps of a race , the opponents can be driven away from quite good in range to make the player feel safe in driving his own pace through the race , but then a few other cars can from somewere get a HUGE speed boost and come closer to the player during a race reaching the goal line and win , its dam weird and feels HUGE strange and ruins the gameplay quite good , .
Grass looks good though :p
I thought the last review was serious, hehehe. Pity as i was looking forward to it being a good arcade game and something to drive around in having some fun. However it just dosent look like its something i will enjoy. Maybe if it gets patched but for now its a steer clear for me.
If the really wanted to make a fun arcade game, that can compete with Forza they should have added 4 player splitscreen and a lot better music. (The menu music is quite good, but I can't imagine what drugs are needed to enjoy the race music.)
