- Brighton is in the hospital and as Fran is not a legal guardian, she cannot visit him. In order to visit Brighton, she disguises herself as a nun.

This right here is why Max tore up their pre-nup.
Fran could’ve simply waited for Maggie and Gracie and go in with them. But she loved Brighton so much and wanted to see him so bad, she stole a nun costume to sneak into his room. Max realized that a woman willing to break into his child’s room with a stolen outfit just to make sure he’s okay was a woman who should never be let go.
She always went above and beyond her paycheck to love, care for and raise 3 children who weren’t hers. Those kids were a huge part of the reason she tolerated Max’s commitment issues for so long. Trust me, if these two divorced (which we know won’t happen), the only thing Fran would fight for in the settlement is the kids.
It reminds me so much of I Love Lucy when Lucy was not allowed to be in the hospital with her son amd like Fran she did everything she could to get in. Even dress in disguise.
I like to think the nun willingly switched outfits with her, doing God's work and all that

This goes to show how Fran isn't a gold digger. A gold digger wouldn't go above and beyond to check in on a child that's not there's. And they wouldn't have continuesly show love to them. I dont think so. Earlier in Season 1 Brighton had a trouble and need his father to see the principal. If Fran could fill in, she would have done already.
She isn’t his legal guardian, that’s the person in charge of finances and who legally basically “owns” the kids until they are age 18. A nanny is not a legal guardian parental consent is still needed
He said it’ll give him a glimpse into the world of marriage so I assumed they had already gotten married in this clip. It gets confusing what part of the timeline you’re on watching these 😂
