This is it, the game that started it all. This seems to be one of the more well-known games in the series.
Just Grandma and Me is (C) 1992 Living Books/Wanderful Storybooks and (C) 1983 Mercer Mayer.
Hearing this makes me cry. So many memories. It automatically takes me back from fifteen years ago.

I remember this while I was in Senior Kindergarten. However I don't normally have the chance to play it, even when it's supposed to be my turn.
Nin10dohgirl1 I still have this cassette tape from my childhood. I don't know where the book is that came with the cassette. It was one of my favorites and have listened with my daughters.

These books are just brilliant; so much creativity and magic. My eldest granbdaughter (now 20) loved this so I have tried to find a copy for my youngest grandaughter and was disappointed that the iPad version I found had removed the magic just to show the words - helpful for young readers but what a loss. magical moments such are these are what memories and nostralgia is about. Creativity is the hardest thing to teach so good examples should be treasured. Thanks for this. I'll try and see if there is a better version for iPad than the one I have found so far.

These were my childhood growing up in the mid 2000s. my dad would let me onto his Mac after school, and I would open these almost every day
the crunching sound when they eat the hotdog brainwashed me into thinking hotdogs should be crunchy and it’s stuck with me for 20 years

THANK YOU so much for sharing this utterly charming & totally hilarious 'Living Book' classic, ARARN - still Certified 100% FRESH after all these years! My dad (aka 'Opa') bought this CDRom back in 1997 to entertain my son & my niece, but I think I probably spent more time clicking on it than THEY did each time we visited 'the olds'! LoL. Btw, one thing that only just occurred to me re-watching it: do hot-dogs constitute 'Good Good Good! Food Food Food!'??? Who cares - great beach food, woteva my nutritionist (aka 'My Wife') might think... Cheers! :-)

Wow... this takes me all the way back to elementary school... I remember having so much fun playing around on the pages. Making the fence dance up to grandma and seeing her reaction just now.. feels like a memory was unlocked through emotion. Randomly thought of this today. I was very young when I played this. Great game. Thanks to whoever took time to post this. I'm well into being an adult now almost halfway through life. I'll always remember that sign towards the end of the video that says 'good food' three times. I was literally at dinner thinking of that.
I sorta amused myself clicking on the flowers where the bee lands on Little Critter, he's gives the 'oh crap' look and then I just click back to main menu, so that it's fading out with Critter's face like that 😆...😅 it was kinda funny at the time.
So happy to find this play list with all the story's! I used to watch/play them repeatedly.

My old elementary school put us in programs to read and listen more better. They put us in head sets that waa kinda like vr and we just played through it like this. I remembered it cause it was a childhood memory I loved
