Thanks for all the detail in the video including set up. This will be my first jack purchased ever and after seeing it online came over here to see what was being said about it. Very helpful thanks.
Of course! I didn’t grow up learning any of this stuff so I figured if I benefited from learning it that maybe someone else would as well 😊
Great detailed video. This was very helpful as i have never owned a jack before, i broke that little plastic piece that prevents the lever from moving and thought i broke something important. Thanks for making this!
I’m glad it helped! I didn’t grow up learning any of this so much of this I’ve had to learn on my own or ask others. Exactly the reason I started the channel 😀
Thanks for the video. Much appreciated.
You bet!
Thank you for the video.
Of course! Hope it helped.
Great review!
Is this a two-stage jack? As in it has one rate of rise when not loaded so it goes up quickly initially, then when it is laded switches to a slower rate to make it easier to pump when it has weight on it.
I have one of HF's aluminum quick pump floor jacks. It is nice and light to move around or put in the trunk. But, to lift one end of my Crown Vic, I have to just about do push ups on the handle and put most of my body weight on it to lift the car.
I do not believe so but according to HF, it has rapid pump technology stating it can reach max height in 3.5 pumps but I don't think there is technology that facilitates pumping once a load has been supplied.
@@learnsavediy This is easy enough to check. You already tested all the way down to all the way up with no load. Slide it back under the car and see if it is the same number of pumps when you are raising the car. Not saying you need to run out and do it, but maybe the next time you or your dad use the jack, pay attention to that.
The universal linkage brake off on them
I haven’t had issues. How long did yours last? I wonder if others have run into the same issue…
