      Thanks Dwight, I want to do some similar rock work to what I did on the side of the peninsula. I’m going to make that section removable so access lost trains if needed.

    This loop is exactly what I intend my layout to have, and running long passenger trains (the Ghan) is my intention. I'm using your layout for my inspiration, so, I appreciate the videos. BTW, what radius are those curves? I'm in HO, so will have to do the math for my scale, but that looks to be the minimum I would want. Thanks.

      Hey Ken, the tightest part of the loop is about 16 inch radius. Correcting the elevation of the track is helping deal trains handle that radius on an incline.

      I would have guessed a bit sharper, buy those long coaches aren't very forgiving.
