Floor makes it look so easy and it's not, it's damn hard to do. She really works hard at her craft, all we see is the results of her efforts. This will no doubt be the point where you're given many recommendations to highlight the bassist's (Marco) voice because what he did just then solo was purely a stylistic choice rather than what his actual singing voice capable of.
Good analyzis. Floor and Marko screaming high together and then the separation at the end!!! Marko and Floor together on vocals are fantastic, complementing each other. Msrko seems to soung great with any female vocalist. Delain ft. Marko is perfect. Charlotte and Marko on vocals. Songs like "Gathering" Masters of Rock 2017, "Nothing Left" live, "Sing to Me" live, Silver Springs MD Marko goes high on "Phantom of the Opera", "High Hopes" Pink Floyd cover , both in Helsinki 2005, and "The Islander" Tamoere 2015 show how good a vocalist Marko is. Nightwish without him would not be as good as it is. He is an essential part of Nightwish. Greetings from Helsinki Finland!

I’m not a big fan of reactors who talk over the video. They miss too much and break the flow when it’s at a high point. I like the pause, comment, backup and resume reactors, but it’s your channel so do your thing. The end commentary was fine. BTW as I’m sure many people will tell you, Marco has a very successful solo career when he’s not performing with Nightwish. 😄🤘
It usually depends to be honest. I often pause if I have something "more" to say. I have other viewers that complain I pause too much! It really differs from video to video.
The primary point of Nightwish for me is that it is not a formulaic bore like most songwriters achieve. When considering Marco's vocals you should be aware he had a botched Polyp operation that ruined his Falsetto and he had to basically learn to sing again. There are some very good examples of his vocals, notably 'The Islander' from Tampera and Nightwish's version of Pink Floyds Hight Hopes, which in my opinion is better than Pink Floyd.s. Floor is only that perfect in her vocals through practice and a good example of the is from Nightwish's latest album. Shoemaker, a tribute to Eugene Shoemaket who was involved with NASA and had some of his ashes sent to the moon on a probe, you should check him out before listening to the song, the context adds to the song. Floor found the climax to the song difficult and she wasn't satisfied with the original recording and worked on it in her own studio to provide the final version that you will hear. Enjoy.
Lol. I had an issue with a single transition as I felt it pulled me out of the mood. Oh well, I can only be honest. On first listens especially there's a lot of valuable things to note that you may otherwise become accustomed to with repeated listens. If you've heard Ghost Love Score 100 times and you love it, the idea of it being imperfect may seem unappealing. 😂 Hope to catch you on the Discord or a live stream soon!
@@FriedTheo You were probably also "informed" several times, that Floor had been with the band less than a year when they did Wacken. So I tend to overlook minor errors prior to 2014-15.
