Lovely 🥰. I was gifted Shawna’s book “Pockets of Pretty” for my last birthday in advance of a much anticipated week in Edinburgh this coming May. Would highly recommend! It’s in permanent residence on my coffee table 😊

Clarinder’s on the Royal Mile is a lovely old fashioned Tea Room with real home baking and one of my favourite places to visit when I’m in Edinburgh. Unfortunately it gets very busy so best to go early!

When we come up to Edinburgh in May I hope we will be able to visit The Royal Mile again with my cousin who lives there. Keep the videos coming. They are so interesting 🥰 Thank you 🦋

Outstanding! Excellent video from beginning to end! The tour of Gladstone's Land was so fascinating & nostalgic! Your filming & footage of this charming place was amazing. As well as your excellent, interesting & very informative Commentary about Gladstone's. The tour guide sounded like he was just wonderful & gave such in depth & fascinating information on everything there. The Cafe also looked wonderful & like it would be a great place to have a coffee or some food. Your wee tour of some of the closes, streets & buildings in Edinburgh was also wonderful. As well as, the wee Garden that you shared with us, That was also delightful. This video was excellent! It was so unique & charming. Also your whole presentation of all of this was really professional. All of your Videos are delightful but this one was a different format from the others. I loved this too! I hope you will do many more Videos like this one That would be awesome!. Thank you for sharing this wonderful new experience! Blessings to you Shawna!

    Hi
If you’re looking for a lovely cafe on The Royal
Mile try Clarindas Tea Room if you haven’t already-great cakes and it’s done in the style of an old fashioned tea room.
    One of my favs 🙂

When I was in Edinburgh last I ate at that cafe a few times. It’s a lovely little spot. One thing about Edinburgh that amazes me is that they built it on top of the old town. I toured Mary King’s Close and was just in awe.

And there I thought I'd seen everything the Royal Mile had to offer! Thanks for showing us the Physic Garden and Gladstone's Land :) I've passed it so many times thinking it was a store of some kind, but that was before their big restoration project. 11:10 That ceiling - wow! Psalm 141:2 was also appreciated :)

My husband and I are coming to Scotland for the first time in May to hike the West Highland Way and will have a few extra days on either end to explore Glasgow, Skye, and Edinburgh. I’ve gotten so many ideas from you (especially places to thrift!). We’ll only have time to tour either the castle or Hollyrood. Which would you recommend?
