Dragonball Z and Dbz game funny moments and gameplay!
#Dragonball #Dbz - Игры
If you guys thought the inputs for super saiyan were tough I'd like to point out that King Piccolo has a PENTAGRAM INPUT for one of his attacks. Like you literally have to move the stick to make a star.
It is called Maou Rebirth Ranbu if anyone wants to see it.
wow lol that seems impossible just wiggle n pray aha
Its hard enough to learn the pretzel input. But this!?!
I remember that, I only pulled it off once in training mode
@@dbfzato-1327 it's actually posible to 360 it, since the game only care you do all the directional inputs under a small time window.
Cell is so interesting. Muay Thai stance, Tae Kwon Do kicks, untrained haymaker. He really is just a mix of everything.
Makes a lot of sense for his character, too.
With our stolen DNA
@@bakatsuguPERFECT
One reason I love this game is that you can actually upgrade the characters to get variety of different moves

lol scam
Made by freaking Arika, a team directed by Akira Nishitani one of the creators of Street Fighter II, the same team who made The Street Fighter EX series and the Fighting Layer series.
These guys know their fighting games.
I want to say there was a way to extend your combos with the stamina bar, but i can't remember. It was really fun, but also annoying due to the inputs and learning curve at times.
Sf ex3 is a brilliant game so much hours of team battles with friends
Made by freaking *Arika* 💀
It's really too bad Arika got out of video games soon after this game came out. I would've loved a sequel to this as a kid. Imagine a world where Super Dragonball Z became a major series like Budokai.
@@TheRealCodeBlack pretty sure they were still developing games after that.
Man old dragonball games just brings me back fr
Doto may be missing those wins but he doesn't miss with these uploads. Absolute Chad is bringing back the dbz fighting games we all loved as kids
8:32 This is why android 18 marries Krillen.
Based
It would be cool to see you playing Tenkaichi Tag Team, is basically the same as the usual tenkaichi, but the unique thing is that you can have 4 people fighting at the same time!
ruclips.net/user/shortsf9s8AkY8tdo?feature=share check this out
And the fights are longer if you include senzu beans and hp bar extender items for each character
@@Enanlarla i still play Tenkaishi tag team on Mobile, way ahead of its time man
Its like a worse version of BT3, but having 2v2s is fun
Tag team is great, has my favorite OST from the recent Dragon Ball games still
you wont pull back up for round 2
My Krillin sweeps
ratio rhyme
This game was ahead of its time damn
@DotoDoya_1.message me to get slept in super dbz
I'm subscribed to a Japanese RUclips channel that runs regular tournaments in this game. It shows up on my Twitter feed sometimes, too. Super DBZ stood the test of time through sheer quality, and the real ones still know.
Seeing Doto just run into attacks or just standing there is sending me lol
Also, it must be said, and if it’s been said already, it’s worth saying again: the stages in this game are AMAZING. So huge, so detailed.
I feel like I wasn’t mature enough to appreciate it at the time. Since it came out between Tenkaichi 1 and 2 I thought it meant Tenkaichi wasn’t going to get a sequel and that prevented me to appreciate Super DBZ for what it was.
0:36 Rhyme said it perfectly lol.
I kinda feel the same way, back then this was a weird game to me, especially when compared to all the other DBZ games at the time
But now that I look at this today, it legit looks like a ton of fun.
I feel the same bout this game years ago played it for 2 hrs then returned it. F@#ck I missed out
I remember i enjoyed thing game when i was little , but at the same time it was too complicated and none of my friends wanted to play it over the other options.
I can't remember if i ended up returning it as a rented game or if i sold it at a garage sale along with other games.
I’ve always enjoyed this because I could only get so many games every so often which was really Christmas or birthdays but I convinced my grandma to get this for me it was always so fun to play along side sonic heros
The art style actually looks insanely good. Every frame looks like it could be a panel in the manga
Love how this man can kill it with krillin in any dragonball game
he lost all matches tho
@@MessatsuGoshoryu02 when he said "kill" he meant "kill krillin"
@@MessatsuGoshoryu02 No, he won the krillin matches
Too bad Krillin didn't have his rock move like in FighterZ. Krillin Vs. Frieza, Rock vs Rock. 😅
"I'm not too short, I'm too different!"
Very interesting quote from Doto there.
Gotta love retro db games doto keep it up!
7:56 Missed opportunity for Rhyme to say something like "Look who's talking" or "Neither do you."
I know im late but i grew up on this game as a kid on my ps2 and i loved it, its crazy to see a video on it now and the giant nostalgia trip was great thank you for unlocking childhood memories doto! Love the channel ❤❤❤
Granted I'm only 10 minutes in, but I feel like I could easily watch a full hour of Doto and Rhyme playing this game that I totally slept on when it was released. I was just a mainline Budokai guy; I never even played the Tenkaichi games for such a stupid reason as transformations counted as characters. Even this game seemed like such a backwards step to me at the time. Looks awesome as hell watching these legends play it, I so missed out
this video is accurate af. i had this game and completely forgot about it. what a blast from the past
Y'all should play using the equipments too, that's where the real ultimates come from
yeah we discovered that right after recording this
@@rhymestyle you should also react to combo videos if this game had become popular it would been first db game in Evo tournament and would have gotten many sequels too
The combos are so great I hope bandai give this and burst limit a second chance this game combos should be little more easier to use and have more characters
I was waiting for you pick this one up real talk it's a hidden gem imo
This game wasnt the first to have Mecha Freiza playable. Mecha Freiza was playable in Budokai 1. He had to die with “Frieza’s Spaceship” capsule equipped.
I forgot that Frieza could turn into Mecha Frieza in Budokai 1.
This game was literal perfection. I demand a sequel.

Oooo I'm actually happy you were making a vid on this! Been playing it plenty recently since I couldn't get the controls down as a kid.
Love to see a video on this game👀 also glad to see you got it all set up too awesome vid doto!!
Super glad to see more coverage for this game! There is a pretty active discord if you wanna learn more about the game. They have channels dedicated to each character and their combo routes.
lets play sometime
this was one of my favorite games from childhood, i know this is a 7 month old video but thank you very much DotoDoya! imma play this and Metroid Prime 2 Echoes on my emulators have a good day!
I love seeing more super DragonBall z being played, they still have tournaments to this day and 16 and chi chi are top tier, also, some Easter egg references in this game, yes, ot was sour man from arale hidden in the phone booth, and in other world you can knock each other in hell doing a ground bounce(the other launcher input) and in kami lookout you can knock each other off to the land under korrin tower
Android 16 is considered mid tier and chi-chi's actually bottom 3
also, i ran SDBZ at Evo and im planning to do it again this year
Tournaments for this game?
@@ProdbyHway sometimes. there have been some in japan over the years and i ran a tourney at evo last year. i also helped run a netplay tourney recently and im planning on running it at evo again this year. maybe combo breaker too
@@ProdbyHway Yes
i was actually looking for this game for so long... i played once when i was younger, i love the fact that you have a lot of colors to select for the characters
THANKS YOU FINALLY. I BEEN ASKING FOR THIS GAME FOR MONTHS
This is sweet to see. Top tier banter and a vintage DB game.
For those confused about the input for Super Saiyan transformation, it is:
*Forward, Half-Circle Forward + Attack (6, 41236 + A)*
It is the same input for _Hao Shoukou Ken_ in The King of Fighters games.
Bro it's been over 10 years and I never could figure it out lol 😂
99% of people reading your comment probably never even played KOF fr
I think you also need a bar of Ki, which I'm assuming is the green bar under the yellow/orange health meter.
@@nader886 where's the 99%?
I knew Doto was saying it wrong! Looks like the same input for the super special move in the new Samsho. However, I bet the execution for this move has to be extremely precise based on the fact of when this was released.
I bought this game a few years back collecting PS2 stuff. Never heard of it back in the day, having played the Budokais and Tenkaichis, so it was a hidden gem I never knew existed. I've never been big into actual combo heavy fighting games, so I didn't play much, but watching these guys play and knowing I have the game still buried in my PS2 collection gives me the urge to try it again.
I HAVE BEEN WAITING MONTHS FOR THIS
I would love to more of this game !!
This is a real interesting one, honestly never seen or heard of it before today
Rhyme always cooks doto in every dragon ball game except FighterZ
So much to love about this game. I liked a few things we didn't get elsewhere like playable adult Chi Chi as well as King Kai Planet as a stage.
nice followup video. good to see you guys discovering more about Super DBZ.
you gotta try those card skills next time though lol.
edit: forgot to mention, ill be running this game at Evo again this year
Yes and the cinematic finishers
You’re everywhere huh
@@freddyleon4579 only when sdbz is there
The Kaioken uses 15% of life gauge to earn 25% of the Ki bar
There is a hella underrated RUclipsr that covered this game.
I JUST NOTICED THE KO WORLD DESTRUCTION AND TEXT ARE REFERENCED IN HYPER DBZ THATS SO DOPEEE
I was just playing this game yesterday. This was the first dbz game I ever had and imo it’s great
Something about seeing thumbnail’s “cobwebs” and doto screaming “KNOCKED ME UP” at 7:21 has me dying lol
I used to see massive amounts of this game in the Wal-Mart discount game bin and at GameStop used.
That males me sad this game is amazing
It was the opposite for me. I bought it new when it released and never seen it again in stores. There probably was more DBZ fans in my area. lol
The missile launcher Rhyme is talking about it's the unique feature of this game, character customization, you can make a character card (You guys have a lot of those in this downloaded save, already) and with it, you can get points/levels to upgrade a skill tree, there you'll get boosts, new attacks/weapons, costumes even, you can collect dragon balls to summon shenron, who can give you the new costumes, can give you a special from another character and etc. This game has a lot of customization, including a finisher, almost a DBZ fatality, not really a Destructive Finish, cause you can do these finishers in any opponent.
they had the cards, but maybe they'll use them next time
I remember renting this game when I was a kid. I forgot to take it out of my console and had ultimate tenkaichi in the rental case when my mom took it back to the store. I still have the disk to this day lol
Vegeta be hittin that dorya like kazuya from tekken
I've been playing KOF since I was 10 😭 motion inputs are ingrained in me
Krilin is actually fun in this game, I remember spamming his insane move and my friends got pissed every time we play that Area controlling move lol
So glad to see Doto putting some respect on this old classic
This game deserves more love it was one of my favorites
I might have to find my ps2 and see my custom characters, i remember having a crazy Majin Vegeta and 18
This game could always, always use more love. One of the best licensed anime fighting games ever made. My pipe dream is for it to finally get a port or something on a modern system. Never gonna happen, but I can dream.
I bet Doto and Rhyme would love the custom character system (Rhyme references it mentioning Freeza's missile launcher: you have to unlock it and customize him), but iirc where was a ton of grind involved with that so it's probably too much hassle for just a little fun.
you can notice, they did have the cards with skills, but didnt use them. so maybe there will be a followup
Glad to see more people playing this game! :D
Dotos history of Dragon ball games continues and I’m praying for more
Doto just puts out Banger after Banger I swear!
I love seeing Doto labeling these games forgotten when I have them all in my library. 😁
Doto is actually playing the orginal dragon ball fighterz, Lets Gooooooo!
I'm really loving this game would love to see more game play

“Doto this is the 5th time you’ve shown the class a forgotten Dragon Ball game”.
Omg I was thinking "it can't be better than budokai games" but this one looks pretty lit actually
IMO Budokai 3 and Shin Budokai are better but Super DBZ is good too. Sunk many hours into it.
I still have my PS2 copy. I love this game. I always thought of this as DBZ meets Street Fighter lol.
I remember going to GameStop & seeing the cover & I immediately picked it up lmao.. that’s how I use to choose my games 🤣😭
I played this game so much its a prize in my collection, when you give me a cyborg freiza with a cannon and ANOTHER cannon I'm gonna love the game.
I remember as a kid asking for budokai tenkaichi 2 for x-mas. My parents misunderstood and instead of getting bt2 i got budokai 1 and this. It absolutely blew my mind and was one of those games that got me into more "real" or competitive fighting games. super dbz kicks so much ass
I remember playing this game when i was younger, my main was chi-chi. She rode the nimbus and had the bansho fan. I remember her being extremely broken
"Any real fighting game has chip damage" I wonder if Doto realised that you can't kill somebody through chip damage in Fighterz
6:00 This game came out in 06, Budokai 1 came out in 02, 03 depending on your console. Mecha Frieza was playable in Budokai 1 as a transformation if you had the capsule or breakthrough capsule
One game that I absolutely loved that no one talks about is the old GBA game, DBZ: Buu's Fury. Imo, it was one of the best DBZ games. From the story telling to the level up and upgrade system to how it manages to tie in with the Fusion Reborn movie so seamlessly. Everything was just perfect, again, imo and for a GBA game, no less.
There was only one thing I didn't like and that was how there was a certain buggy area in the desert that you could get stuck in, but there was also a way to reset it. It's been a while so I kinda forgot how.
I had this game and I completely forgot about it until this
Brings back good memories, I enjoyed this game
"Imagine being a child and being told to do these imputs". Cries in SNK from all the hardships.
Imagine having to do King of Fighters-style combo trials in this game. 😨
I love the visuals in this one. They're timeless
this game has never been forgotten by me
Handicap doesn't raise your damage. It lowers your health
i actuaally got this game when i was a kid and i remember playing it with my brother. The controllers were messy and me and my bro would mash all button untill we transform into ssj xD
If anybody wants to get in this scene there's a discord where people help others and play competitively (it's not mine and i take no credit for it just trying to spread the good word) Edit: They also had a showing at Evo for it this past year it was really cool.
thanks for spreading the word. lets play sometime
Brother got me this and tankaichi 1 and 2. This was the first time I had to directional imput. I only played tekken and anime game before hand. Can't wait for dbzbt4.
Where’s the Pokémon fighters video?? Lol. This video was good too tho. Much love bro
I remember renting this game from Blockbuster! Fun, but I couldn’t play it with any sort of proficiency to save my life. 0:36 was basically the mood.
Rhyme doing headbutts like he’s using pre-nerfed handy canon
Remember playing this once as a child and returned it immediately. It was too complicated for my mind back then lol
The background music is the peak of all background music
OH MY GOD. I used to rent this game from blockbuster back in the day. I thought this was a fever dream.
So nobody here remembers Dragon ball Z Burst Limit ? Underrated for sure
I had so much fun with this game when it came out
Scene straight from Indiana Jones 🤣
Trunks starts whipping his sword around and Cell just puts another hole in him lol
As a kid i managed to pull those inputs, i call them "press everything randomly until happen"
Some pro players get a bit ripped when they find out they got beaten by a button masher. 🤣
This game looks awesome! I like how the characters have the Manga inspired art style and colours
This game basically half-Power Stone and half-Tekken, but you can fly around with traditional fighter inputs.
I remember when this came out and I was like Tenkaichi had 10 times more characters but to this day this is the only one where adult Chi Chi is playable
Won't lie. That's one of the main reasons I bought it.
I played a TON of Dbz games, but never even heard of this game
I never forgot this game, I wanted this game back in the day because it looks incredible and this game was Dragon Ball FighterZ before Dragon Ball FighterZ asking the question; What if Dragon ball played like Street Fighter?
This game is like a mix between Dragon Ball Z and Street Fighter II. Also, it is probably the first time a fighting game has a fully round arena (King Kai's planet).
this was the most chaotic video on this channel
Doto your my favorite youtuber of all time
Video idea: You play all the dbz games and then make a tier list of the best👀 (it can have multiple parts😁)
