Honestly as non canon "Raditz showing up to King Kai's planet to fight Goku" Man i wish it was canon, It would have been a great way to show just how strong Goku got after his training. Maybe it's not that important (as Nappa fits this role) but it would have been great to see Raditz more. It makes me hopeful Sparking Zero has what if's and maybe we get a "what if they revived Raditz and Nappa" even if they have it happen during super, it'd be great to have them both back into the story
I had this whole thing typed out on possible what if's they could do but for some reason hitting backspace deleted everything. My ideas were "what if Krillin/Master Roshie went with Piccolo and Goku to fight Raditz" just to see how effective they'd actually be, "what if Nappa survived/betrayed Vegeta" Or heck even just a "what if only Vegeta went to earth. They work for Frieza after all and even though Nappa is usually always with Vegeta. What if Nappa got called away on an important mission by Frieza and only Vegeta went to Earth for the Dragon balls? how would things change? I'd also love if they try to get really creative with it. Like i'm just imagining if the what if's were anything like the story mode from supersonic warriors and it'd just be crazy to have that in a 3d fighter and animated, or at the very least narrorated. Just imagining "What if King Cold survived/what if Frieza didn't immediately go to earth after he got turned into mecha frieza and showed up after Cell shows up? But maybe that's all a bit much to ask. Just in general though i would like to see Krillin/Master Roshie showing up to the Raditz fight and having to play as them to fight Raditz, or we finally get the Nappa arc so we can all see Super Sayain Nappa with his golden beard
It could also have been used to foreshadow Goku getting a lot stronger training while dead (aka SSJ 3) by having Goku point out Raditz is significantly stronger than before.
Doto, Some tips for ya. To use Evolution Z on the others when in Multi Character Menus, Just move to have your selection on the character you want. Goku's Spirit Bomb needs multiple charges of R1 + O (Give me your Energy)
Fun fact: If you already have a character transformation or fusion unlocked, you can actually transform during the story. I used to use SSJ3 Goku in the fight vs Vegeta and at the end of the game, in the very last mission, even though you are not fused anymore due to the story, you can fuse back into SSJ4 Gogeta.
*You know this game hit different when you still remember how to play it, b/c of all the training you did. God I wish we lived in a world where the Tenkaichi collection (1,2,3, not that bs they tried on PS2) existed on the ps store.*

Im so glad that Doto is (hopefully) going to do a whole series and finish the entire story. I feel like he'd love the other what if's just as much as the Raditz one
Hey Doto, if you're going to be playing Adventure Mode, you'll need to invest in Leveling up each and every character with ZItems. Every battle, the Z Item will gain EXP, take your time leveling up your characters before each battle, the game has crazy RPG Mechanics. A lot of the ZITems have crazy power ups, there's one called Masters protection, it makes any block damage 0, and you gain +5 Defense. You get certain items from the Dragonballs as well, so be sure to collect those
Launch your supers after you land a grab. Basically always connects then. Pressing X after landing a few punches works the grab into your combo easily as well.
Doto here’s some advice: When you’re using certain chargeable super attacks such as special beam cannon, if you hear a chime while you’re charging your attack. Release it the split second after the chime and it’ll do greater damage. Edit: Nvm it's the 3rd game, I'm dumb

Doto if your goingto keep playing with Goku a quick tip ,share your energy can be stacked 3times in this game the energy you stack the bigger the spirit bomb is .good luck bro
When you do that leg up 2:01 attack at follow up,you can end with a down triangle and it will cause the computer to unlock from you and they’d have to find you, good for a hit and run tactic/to dash away to charge an ultimate, which hitting will cause them to unlock from you again
I'm glad you're playing this game Doto, this and Budakai 2 were my DBZ games growing up. Btw, you can charge the spirit bomb at least three times for increased damage, I think it even looks bigger if I remember correctly.
Hey Doto, I barely comment, and I doubt you'll see this. But, I just wanted to give you a little tip for these games. I played the hell out of these when they first came out, the reason you always lose the beam clash struggles and the fist fight clashes is because you smack the sticks back and forth. You're supposed to spin them in a circle, clockwise. I used to use my palm on the right stick and fingers on the left stick and spin them at the same time. Never lost the clashes, even to my friends (granted that's on playstation, don't know what controller you're using). If you do end up reading this, I hope it helps. Love your videos! They always make my day. Edit: Grammar
spinning both sticks is quicker than reloading Grenades may roll back down hills but swapping characters or transforming resets the L2 triangle cool down timer

Awesome nearly 30 mins!!!!! But still not long enough 😂😂😉. This was definitely always my all time favourite dbz game. I hope sparling zero does it right!!!
BT2 Is my shit back when i was in primary. and here's a little combo that might help cos i main piccolo in the game for heavy combos. so attack with a normal combo which is 5 hits and then dash towards your opponent and do 3 hits to your opponent and immediately hit triangle so you can hit them in the stomach, then hit your opponent 3 times and sweep the leg and do the same (hit him 3 times) but chip the character in the air and press x to follow them, press triangle and press square square square square and triangle as a finisher and your opponent loses sight and then u have a chance to charge up. just make sure you hide behind something so people cant see where you are. if you want an extension for some heavy damage make sure you have enough bar so you can perform a light grenade. do the same combo as i suggested and when your opponent gets sent flying downwards immediately fire a light grenade.
Fun fact: Radditz barely took damage from the spirit bomb because he's not evil. He learned the value of love and did this training to prepare Goku for the saiyans.

The random Kingdom Hearts music for the cutscenes is throwing me for a loop.
Could you imagine how crazy it would be getting the story of DBZ for the first time from BT2?
Man this game has everything! Even quoted my favorite line in all of DragonBall when Tien swoops down and goes "Tien time!" 10/10 game!
i like how you did not think to fully charge it the bomb grows massive and deals crazy damage
"It's tien time"
I think it's this game where if you do "Give me your energy" multiple times, the spirit bomb gets stronger. I think it can go from the normal 6k to 27k or something.
I like that the thumbnail makes it seem like two brothers chilling and not Goku curbstomping Raditz back to hfil
Awesome nearly 30 mins!!!!! But still not long enough 😂😂😉. This was definitely always my all time favourite dbz game. I hope sparling zero does it right!!!
I hope sparking zero give us all the OG bt2 sound track, because imo that game had the best and most beautiful dragon ball game soundtrack.
Doto give kid gohan some items mannnnn. He's gonna be there til the end of frieza saga.
Seeing Doto playing BT2 is such a nostalgic trip ngl
ikr
You can actually charge the spirit bomb up to 3 times I believe, just in case you want to be dealing like 20k in one attack :D
Why tf chiaotzu got the “mom I frew up” flying stance bruh
LMAOOOO
Mucha Lucha, that's a show I haven't thought of in a long time.
the music in the budokai series really goes hard.
