Can understand why a lot of people don't like Ronnie but dude's a hellova vocalist, his versatility is insane
Ronnie was really problematic in the past, did some really shady stuff, but sat in jail for it and did time. People still dislike him for that. It also does not help that he sometimes posts rather questionable stuff on Twitter.
I am not big on him either, but Ronnie can sing. FIR has some really good tunes. It's like Drag Me Out.
Idk ever since I met someone who claimed to be one of his victims I just haven’t been able to listen to him anymore. Granted his music isnt my taste anymore since middle school.
He's not my favorite person in the world but he's a phenomenal vocalist.

That scene with Sebastian Bach is pure GOLD. I haven't really listened to Falling in Reverse before but Ronnie Radke has my respect for how he exposed Bach. I started listening to metal with bands like Nightwish and Epica so I pretty much never thought that backing tracks are a bad thing. I mean especially in Symphonic Metal they are a necessity. You can't just have an entire goddamn orchestra with you at every show. Backing tracks are there to enhance the music. As long as the band still plays the guitar, drums, bass, maybe also keyboard etc. and the singer is actually singing everything's fine.

What is even interesting that this song has influence from it. Nightwish and Epica are great bands btw and imo one of the best female fronted bands of the 2000s

This song literally has everything. Rap, orchestra, somehow just a littlebit of Queen vibes, rock and absolute heaviness. Ronnie is from a different planet.

I think this song really showcases how INCREDIBLY talented Ronnie is as a vocalist, his skills as a rapper has improved so much over the years, his cleans are just phenomenal as always and then of course his screams are still dope as hell. Love him or hate him, he is talented beyond belief.

well actually I think he wrote the breakdown and thats it, and I think he wrote it long ago, it’s very similar with “Zombified” but I guess Ronnie let his boys do them leads over Cody’s breakdown, maybe Im wrong but thats just how it sounds to me 🤷🏻

@@thesmartoneification Honestly, all "rappers" sound the same to me lol, just a bunch of fast singing. Lil Wayne has his own "unique flow" and has simple lyrics too, mostly just double entendres. NF is great, but his lyrics are personal, sometimes straight to the point, and other times his lyrics also uses lines that have a double meaning. So it's all kinda the same and just personal preference for the listener at the end of the day. I just like how Ronnie blends in many, many different styles of vocal skills.

Ive said "what year is it" like 10 times already this year. New Fall Out Boy, New Story of the Year, New Atreyu, New August Burns Red, New Escape the Fate, New FiR, like goddamn.
Wow funny you mention that. I felt the song was like this:
This song starts out sounding like Tom Macdonald. Which is interesting considering his political and industry views. They completely align with how this progression continues. Next it jumps into an Eminem "Godzilla" style rap that builds into an ALMOST Queen Bohemian Rhapsody break, that sounds like a Fall Out Boy type early 2000's emo music, into a System of a Down break, into a Death Metal break ending with a Brightburn (or Homelander) blow up the world. The only thing I didn't like is that abrupt ending. It seemed to just stop with no resolution. Like a soft cadence and watch the world burn completely. It felt unfinished.

@@TheAngryKilt Sleep Token dropped 4 new tracks so far this month and there might be 2 more coming in the next couple of days. The Summoning, Chokehold, Aqua Regia, and Granite. They're really proving themselves frontrunners in the metal scene but also they incorporate other genres as well so its just as difficult to pin them down. I'm a huge fan, now, though, especially after looking into more of the bands lore.

The rap is "lyrical miracle spiritual individual" cringe, but the rock part is really good. I think most rock fans don't listen to enough hip hop to know how cringe and dated his rapping is, they just think "if it's fast it's good." I literally got chills from cringing when i read the lyrics.
I love Ronnie but I feel like he thinks he's creating a trend, where he's just tarnishing his reputation and becoming Tom McDonald 2.0

He put words that rhyme together but they don't mean anything. It sounds like an edgy teen trying to rip off Eminem.
But, to rap like Eminem, you have to be really clever and deliver punchline after punchline and be original. The talent Eminem has is lightning in a bottle, and trying to rip it off is a fools errand.
I think the rapping, alongside the corny video just comes off as cartoonish.
You can think what you want, but fast rap mixed with metal sounds good. That's why Tech flows with metal, and why Wither turned out to be a great song. You can think it's cringe all you want, but you literally chose the name "Clint Beasthood", so not sure you have any right to call anything cringe.

I love songs that don't have a modern traditional song structure. They are usually my favorite things. Verse chorus verse structure is ok, but the former is almost always my favorite thing, whether rap or metal or Ronnie's concoctions.
