    Thank you for taking time to post content. A real and safe test would have been more helpful. Raspberries are meant to be refrigerated and likely create gases from breaking down that will push up on the lid. Also vacuum sealing fresh (without freezing) mushrooms is not the recommended and can cause botulism. I would recommend doing some research and making your reviews/test real tests that help your viewers Guage true product performance. Not meant to be negative, just constructive. We appreciate your posts.

    Stacie: I couldn't agree more with the quality and the versatility of the Zwilling Vacuum bags. They are superb and function really well to preserve food in the fridge and the freezer for extended times. However, don't give up on the containers because items like bread and rolls and fruits that are crushable will be squashed in the bags whereas placing them in the canisters allows for a complete vacuum and seal and the food won't be crushed. Bread and buns come out of the freezer with the Zwilling canisters and when popped in the microwave for 15 to 20 seconds have the texture, the taste and even the smell of fresh baked bread and rolls. Each has their purpose. A compromise that I have been experimenting with is to place the Rubbermaid container with the vent lid into a large Zwilling vacuum bag while leaving the vent open on the canister inside while the vacuum is turned on. Now the Rubbermaid is vacuum sealed and the canister vent lid can be then closed before the canister is removed from the Zwilling bag. The best of both worlds. So far it seems to work as well as the Zwilling canisters at much less cost of entry. Thanks for All your tips and tricks. Greetings from Ontario, Canada.

    Thank you for this helpful review. Just FYI, it is not safe to vacuum seal mushrooms. They can grow bacteria faster in a vacuum seal because of anaerobic bacteria.

    There are two sealer vs regular tupperware tests in this video and neither give an actual answer. Why didn't you just redo the raspberry experiment properly instead of a video of you doing it incorrectly? What's the point of us watching the user error experiment? It's literally the only point of the video.

    The glas containers are great for cold cuts. It stays fresh much longer. Also freesing with these containers is great , as with bags food does not get freezer burn.

    This was an awesome, real world review. I was wondering if the Zwilling system worked well or not and now, because of you, I have my answer. I love the "idea" of glass containers. It's better for things like curry and foods that would otherwise stain plastic bags. But the glass containers do not stay airtight. So close yet so far. I don't have a dish washer and it seems odd to hand wash the inside of the plastic bags. Can you really get them clean? Zwilling needs to go back to the drawing board and get their glass containers engineered correctly. The glass containers would be great for storage large amounts of food and I feel far more comfortable storing food in glass rather than storing food in in chemical laden plastic.

    1- tests it agains rubbermaid non Vacuum containers and the Zwelling fail miserably.
    2- lowers benchmark and uses regular, basic plastic containers with no special seals and there is absolutely no difference between it.
    3- deflects and says it is not important because she is just interested on the zipper bags.
    4- I go to the Zwelling store and return the system I bought yesterday.

  • @dancasur
    @dancasur 2 года назад +2

    It’s nit an accurate test, ZWILLING container is way bigger than the rubbermaid one so it held more air and had more empty space than the other one. That’s why rubbermaid worked better tho.

    • @scfan7231
      @scfan7231 2 года назад +1

      I was wondering about that, too. Shouldn't the Vacuum system reduce the amount of air so much, so that there is basically no air left for the mold to grow? (not sure if mold actually needs air, tho...)

    • @billme372
      @billme372 Год назад +2

      @@scfan7231 The Raspberries have moisture. The moisture will evaporate from the Raspberries and become a gas thereby reducing the vacuum until the pressure is equal to the outside air pressure. That should result in slightly dehydrated Raspberries and an unsealed container (and mold).
