    That’s a clean, whip-tastic, beautiful modern forehand!

      its next gen forehand

What makes it "modern" and "next gen?"

@@jimbotc2000 I think it’s more simplified. Straight through, bend arm, wristy but the face stays open and solid. But that’s my very unprofessional and inexperienced opinion, I don’t really know crap otherwise I’d be playing like them 😅

I feel there's no such thing as modern and next gen forehand.
It's all in what grip you use in your forehand
Like look at nadals forehand it has wrist but it is not called next gen forehand
Sinner by his forehand hold somewhere in b/w semi western and western grip
It is almost not possible to get a straight arm shot on your forehand without injuring ur hand with that grip
These are just my thoughts (currently semi pro and tryna working to be a pro) player

@@ryansodhi1815 I respect your opinion and experience but I got this from a pro himself (coach Nikola Aracic, I liked the video in this comment thread)
I do thing it's more than just grip.

Reminding me a lot of Soderling with that forehand, hitting it with so much power

Earlier we were taught keep your head stable while hitting, but Sinner moves his head and neck also with his body towards the ball. So, extra body weight and more powerful forehand shots.😂

When I try to hit like "this" sometimes I have a pain in my wrist... of course cause I don't have always the timing of putting solid the wrist at the time of impact.
