Thanks Don for a wonderful program and an opportunity for me to walk down my memory lane. Regards HRM JY1, and I don't blame anyone for being a bit skeptical, I had the opportunity to work with both Bruce Blackburn as well HRM while outfitting his sportfishing yacht that was in Miami for pre-delivery commissioning before shipment to Aqaba, Jordan. Upon completion of the electronic package in Miami I then traveled to Aqaba to instruct Bruce and HRM on the operation of the top end electronics during sea trials. While in Aqaba I had opportunities to meet with HRM who knew that I was also a Ham. HRM's generosity extended to allowing me to operate his Aqaba station for 1 night at his residence. It still seems a bit surrealistic to me and certainly the highlight of my Ham radio experience. Many years have since passed as well have both Bruce and HRM but their friendliness and being just down to earth nice will always live in me. I have been in-out of the hobby a number of times over the decades but now retired and becoming active again. Many thanks to you for providing this program.

Thanks for the video. The hobby needs more visibility, I'm a fairly new technician. KE0RWY out of southeast Missouri. I became a HAM so I can better communicate as a storm spotter, but love the hobby. Interesting that a lot of famous hams were musically inclined. I play French Horn, trumpet, guitar and piano.

Did I miss him bring up Art Bell. I got frustrated with him not showing the/or focusing on the screen when asking if you recognize this person so I would hit skip button. Art was very much involved with ham radio (w6obb)

An old friend of mine who had the same guitar as Chet wrote his own songs, and then would mail the recordings to Chet. The many years I friended his son who also played bass guitar, played back the audio music corospodance tape from Chet. Amazing man both were,
Thannks Don for joggling memories from long time past.

typical reply "that you must have a tall tower that is ugly and an eyesore taking down property values."
