È incomprensibile per me, capire come un uomo dell'alta società, imprenditore e proprietario di un'impresa internazionale, quindi abituato a comportarsi nei modi e con le maniere che si richiedono quando si fa parte dell'elite, quando educazione, cultura e galateo impongono gli atteggiamenti adeguati, possa trascendere con tanta ignoranza nei confronti di una giovane donna e durante un evento tanto importante. Ancor piu incomprensibile la pretesa di voler condizionare la vita di un figlio, uomo adulto che però non sa ribellarsi alle ragioni esposte di un fratello e non sa stoppare le parole di una "gatta morta" che non vuole cedere alla conferma di non essere amata da quest'uomo. La protagonista tanto arrendevole, si separa dal suo amore per il bene di un'azienda, per far si che i rapporti padre-figlio non si incrinino, per ascoltare un "fratellastro" che in cuor suo vuole separarla da quest'uomo perché innamorato di lei, una madre troppo protettiva, insomma una quantità di persone, tutte prive di sincerità. Ma davvero i sentimenti provati dagli innamorati devono soccombere per lasciare spazio a tanto schifo?! Ipocrisia, gelosia, cattiveria, rancore, interesse, egoismo ed una mentalità ottusa in una "società"che non conosce rispetto ma pretende di ottenere ad ogni costo e con ogni mezzo quello che gli interessa. Calpestando, usando, manipolando, imponendo. La cosa più triste, "rinunciare all'amore" con tanta rassegnazione, fa dubitare del sentimento in effetti provato dalla protagonista. Forse le ragioni possono confondere la mente ma il cuore saprà dimostrare che non esistono ragioni sufficienti per farlo tacere.
