You can also press rewind on the tape and it will write out for you in reverse what he said.

Yeah, this was the only part that i missed. I didnt gt the last clock hour and the locked cabinet door.
I could try to go one by one on the clock and eventually would get to 8:05, but i felt it would be like cheating if i didnt figure it out by objective meanings.
