Hi Mark & Shaun, looks like you have got a good clean field, you dont find them often..Some nice finds, I couldn't see the coins clearly, but George 2 or 4... but a cracking coin spill 👍 Take care lads Tom
Irish George the third coins after 1800 where minted by Matthew Boulton in England they are thicker and have a train track edge. George the third 1760 to 1800 coins are much thinner . The train track edge is the real give away that they are after 1800 it usually survives even if the rest of the coin is toasted . The face of Matthew Boultons coins were very lightly stamped and so were easily worn smooth . Channel 4 's Time Team did dig at the site of Matthew Boulton's mint
Посмотри в интернете, вроде как надо решать мд в любом случае, а по кому надо говорить с хозяином земли, но я думаю есть варианты, кстати за 5мес прояснилось что-то ?
Just shows how idiotic and petty Irish laws are. When government archaeologists are finished excavating the 138,800 recognised monuments and sites of Ireland they plan to go to this particular field along with the other 17 million acres in Ireland. A scheduled dig had been set for the year 3023 but may be delayed for a couple of millennia allowing these few coins and buttons to become mush. I fully agree with protecting our heritage sites but everywhere else should be open to exploring by the public, otherwise a large portion of of our history and heritage will remain buried forever. The entitled few would prefer that with their "If we don't find it then nobody else will" attitude.
Good to see you, guys! You found some lovely old coinage this hunt. I really love the old ring! Great hunt!💖

Does this require a government license?
