I recall the metal tamp at the Liverpool Pier Head, It was a real treat to betaken there by my dad and have my name stamped then a trip on th e Royal Liver over to Birkenhead . Happy Memories xx
Photo '@2.13 to 2.17 is Hanover Street looking toward city centre. Photo @ 4,31 is Moorfields looking toward Exchange Station now and office complex that retains the original frontage of the former railway station. I worked in Liverpool City centre mid 60s to early 1970s when Hanover Street had many small business's I often passed daily. And with work colleagues often had a Friday pint in the Empire Pub , often called Tracey's after the then manager, and ate at the marvellous Golden Phoenix Chinese above the shops in the next block. You could enter the second floor car park using the same stairway that also had the front entrance to the restaurant. All, in my opinion sadly lost for the Liverpool One project.
Shame there's no names of roads or buildings on those ace photos The photo at 00:54 I travelled to Ghana on that very ship the Aureol in 1963 when I was 12yo - hence the black woman in the photo I suppose, maybe Thanks for these, Bob

Great video and music! Who is the music by please?
Interesting
Where is the picture at 0:30? It’s not Liverpool
Is it Birkenhead or New Brighton, or Seacombe? Or it could be Liverpool before 1900
That looks like the overhead railway in the front that must be a clue
It is Not the Pier Head, but could it be Brunswick or Wapping?
