if you want to hold objective as light this is definitely how you do it, but i feel like participating in team fights outside of the cashout is still very important as light is great at being able to kill one and leave
Yeah it's a shame they didn't get into a fight but I did briefly say that I'd be ready to "flank" it's just that the overall context was that there was a previous fight so I had a strong idea that they would be fine, because I was thinking another team would actually go towards the cashout but we were faster. Thanks for watching!
Yeah I should have used glitch there too that’s a great point but I just think getting it to detonate exactly there would have been hard, I just thought I’d be protected from the blast from the debris but I guess not haha. Thanks Bergh for helping out in the comments too
Good tip on going to a cashout location and waiting for another to try and deposit. U can set up mines and other booby trap stuff and just ambush ppl when they're least expecting it
I keep telling my friends you don't need kills to win, but they keep falling back to caveman instincts, haha. Love these videos. Can't wait to see the one for mediums.
9:00 you can have 2 breach charges on the ground at the same time so i like to place my first one on the top then jump down and as soon as i get the cd i put one below this will make it so the floor drops AND the enemies get damaged
Had a match where 2 times we cashed out on the floating train and while my heavy/medium were direct defending I was playing park core Sim going for picks as they approached while chasing the train
Thanks for watching! And if that’s your style that’s fine too, I’m not saying every solo HAS to play like this, it’s just a method I use and a theory craft for others
A bit of feedback on the video, I think you could have summarised the strategy a bit better with a flowchart or at least some text; describe a few options depending on the situation. The live commentary is great for showcasing what you mean, but its not great for actually communicating the main idea. I really like your edited little above view diagrams describing positioning to come in as a third or fourth party etc, and i think this strategy could be well described in that way too with a bit more text/diagrams/flowcharts. Hope that makes sense. That being said, thanks for the video.
Hey! This is awesome feedback thank you so much, I did actually make a video covering this entirely ( ruclips.net/video/EXosG33HDZI/видео.htmlfeature=shared ) and at the start I referenced the original video that covered it - however a flow chart is cool and I’ll add that for the others!) Awesome people like you are those that help push me making better content so I appreciate you watching and you’ll see the improvements to the content! :D
Another great and informative video, absolutely love your way of thinking in this game. People dont unserstand that just because the game is chaotic doesnt mean you need to play chaotic. Calm cool and collected and knowing when you should push is the key to winning. Id kill for a team mate that understands the game as we do.
Thank you! Exactly this, if you see the strategy without understanding it, people think that I’m not “helping” the team, sure maybe not directly in fights AS MUCH, but the return is that I’m making sure we qualify/get objectives as much as possible, thus increasing our odds of qualifying. Appreciate the kind words!! Happy holidays!
@@THiiXY Exactly buddy! it's hard for people to understand because they treat it like a cod game, playing for kills staying on the point and causing as much carnage as possible. That's unfortunately not the way to win the game, if you're playing to win you have to carefully plan and think out ways to re take or hold down the objective without sitting directly on top of it for everyone to spam you with utils Happy holidays to you too!
I try to play all my fps games with some strategy I mean I loved siege for 3 years (then not so much) but every now and then I get a little monkey brain and chase kills, lose sight of the objective etc. This game though is a wet dream for objective based players and I’m one of them😂
Hahaha, yeah Siege has been that kind of chess-like strategy game especially in the early years but THE FINALS really pulls you away from that with all the fast-pace high intesity going on lol
Hopefully lights watch this. was playing with my friend n the randoms would always choose light then get destroyed without helping at all, totally made the game fun
Yeah it's kind of frustrating, that's why this way allows you both sides of the coin, if the team is solid, stick with them and continue helping, if the team just goes in and get's coined, don't sacrafice a random fight in a 1v3 etc, just go objective if they have coins so they can respawn in and everyone is good to go. Thanks for watching!
It does far too much beyond that. Should just get reworked into a silence tool. Doesn't fuck mobility or capturing. It's just not interesting for a low skilled weapon. CC in shooters is aids.

Thank you so much!! It may take some time to refine this strategy, because it’s a balance for sure but I’ll explain further as more time goes. What things did you struggle with when following VAP? Just so I know! Appreciate it!
honestly im a little too scared to play tournament / ranked. I'm getting my lunch taken in quickplay trying to pop players as light class. Still working on strategic plays to counter that
Yeah I get it, I think you could also try some unranked for a little bit as well to get used to the "mode" yeah some people don't take it as seriously and it's mainly a fun casual mode, but you still get to learn the experience from playing, thanks for watching and hope you face ranked soon!
Its insane how different you have to play it in Cash Out and Bank It. I feel like light is at a disadvantage in cash out because it has zero defenses besides cloaking. You kinda have to play this way in Cash Out because if you're running around fighting you might kill a few sure but you'll step on a mine or get hit with an RPG or some other one shot. This game isn't about kills, its about killing at the right time!
Killing at the right time is so true. Sure u might only get like 10 kills but if those kills were on people getting the cash out or a heavy you helped so much

Thanks for the comment and also watching the video! In the original video, I mentioned that for the first cashout, we are active and with the players (so we can understand if they know what they're doing or not) if they are collaborative, sure we can play the game as "normal" but if they run in and get coined (eliminated) then this strategy is a "backup" for that, because it puts the shift on the team-mates to follow you to "cashout". Hopefully that makes sense, I'll add more context in future videos :)
@@THiiXY I agree completely, if your team is just wasting lives pushing things they shouldn’t then it’s better to play conservative and smart like this. Brilliant response. Thank you for making good content for this game

Ya I guess low risk is low risk and all but I think its a lot for fun as a light to be in more combat. This passive mindset is just boring and I want to actually play the game and not just chill and get no kills although I'm qualifying.
Awesome! That’s a great way to play, as I said you’re allowed to play however you want :) this is just for those that are struggling and offers an alternative, we all enjoy having fun
Its not crazy because your just focusing on playing the objective instead of just going for kills. My friends and I won hundreds of BF matches doing the boring thing of going to the empty bases to recapture instead of just going to where all the fighting was. We could flip entire matches doing this even when it felt like our entire team just couldn't stay alive. It is always about playing the objective and as light you have to play a certain way and that's all.
