Changing Kawasaki ZX6R Spark Plugs

In this video I show you the process involved in changing spark plugs in a 2000 Kawasaki ZX6R. The right stack of extensions on your ratchet really makes this job easy so check out our setup for a good idea. Although we improved Josh's bike today we did not fix it entirely. It still misfires/stutters under hard throttle a low rpm which means we still have a problem to chase down. Stay tuned for more ZX6R content

Hi there I notice the performance airfilter I have one on my bike also zx6r did you have to do anymods to suit this did it upset air fuel ratio .etc

I have the same bike it won’t start makes a loud pop then battery just dies after I try and start it.

Not shore if you can help I have a 2000 ZX6R that after baing lied to on what had bin carried out on the bike work wise its now not running at all stripped the carbs from watching you're video so thank you foe that much helpful. But after cleaning now rhey flood so not shore what that I's about but now the oil smells of fuel so I'm at a loss as don't want to keep paying out to chaing oile filter etc each time the carburettors want to then flood the blooming engine out. Can you offer any advice, please

How did you learn all this stuff I really wanna know everything about my 01 zx6r ? My battery right now is corroded and I need to clean it but I don’t wanna mess anything up how would I clean it the so it’s kinda like new ?

Use baking soda and water to clean the battery terminal. It will neutralize the chemicals around the terminal. I’ve learnt this stuff from years of wrenching, it takes time. Good luck 👍

My spark plugs are not firing.It turns over but not firing when I test it. do you guys have any ideas why? Anything will help

Check ignition coils and ignition pick ups.

Ya it's possible, just less likely that, coils, pickups and plugs. With any no spark situation you should always start at the spark plug and work your way back towards the computer or CDI box in this case.
