That is indeed a very nice machine. I do like how the engineers designed it with easy and quick maintenance in mind. The tracks makes for a smooth ride versus bouncy wheeled machines.
I have run a Kubota SVL 75 track loader quite a bit. It had the Cat controls on it. I learned to operate loaders on Case units. I loved the Case controls. Never was a big fan of the foot controls I just felt a whole lot smoother with the Case controls.
Yeah, I think it’s more what you grow up on or learn on I can run the tracks off of a hand and foot control machine. This is gonna take some time for sure if we end up buying it.🤣. Only good thing is this is going to be for our business. I’ll still have my 232 on the farm it only has 600 hours on it so hopefully it stays together plus I keep it indoors all the time 👍
The bobcat that was recently shown doing some work on my channel was brand new and the owner was just like you and preferred the foot and hand combo. I had no clue you could even do that. I figured everything was pilot control. You do well with it considering that you are not used to that format of control. Love it!
Yeah, I seen that bobcat on that video is very nice. Yeah unfortunately I was taught how to run equipment by a bunch of old-school guys so it was hand and foot control on skid loaders, and four lever on backhoes 🤣
I don't want to evolve 😅. I like old gear. But that's the way things are going now. I had a grader out for a spin will all hand controls, and It didn't go well. Beautiful machine Tom and it would make a great addition to the farm.
Man that is a nice machine Tom. Lots of bells and whistles. All this tech does make me worry a bit about longevity, but if you need a new machine that’s the market now. I was shocked with how quiet it was in the cab. Thanks for the tour!
👷🏻♂️🚜🇨🇦That’s a nice BIG machine, I’m 5’11”…lol…we have the BX23S, AKA: “Clementine” with a bucket, backhoe and snowblower! I want the bushhog…we have lots of alders and low bushes!
The BX is a nice machine before we bought the property. I had a B 2650 cab machine then I traded it for a track skid steer since we did so much land clearing 👍
Not a bad looking machine. I don't think I could do the ISO pattern controls. I would have to do the H pattern on this one. Great review. This should help a lot of potential buyers out.
very interesting design Tom! I think you mentioned ASV was building that machine. That makes I believe 3 very similar machines more than likely. I think they are hydraulic over hydraulic. When you entered the cab, it looked a bit tight. Many operators would not fit very well. I am kinda shocked it doesn't come factory with a camera. out of all the machines that I think should have them, it is a CTL. The nature of the work is begging for it. I really like how accessible the back of the machine was when all the panel opened up. When they get dented like they will (especially with other guys using it) do you think they will operate ok?? We had a very hard time with the panels opening and shutting correctly on many of the CAT equipment after some time because of that very reason. I am VERY interested in this machine. You were talking like it was kinda heavy but I think that is great size. I am actually kinda shocked it is a 100HP machine! I would have guess like 65-85 with the 10klb weight. Thanks again!
Yeah, the cab looks small from the video, but it feels pretty comfortable. I would say for a larger overweight person. It might be a little tight. We’re actually purchasing this machine after we demoed it. We liked it so much. They gave us a good trade-in and also Our installing a camera for us, I feel it’s built very well. Seems like you could take a nice hit in the rear and still be OK.
@@fatefarmspa good to know man! I like your Yanmar stuff buddy. Just so you know, the Yanmar Dealer in Tulsa OK watched your video and then reached out to me because they are one of the places I got quotes on for new equipment. They said they saw my comment on here. Too funny
Great machine Tom. 👍🏻. Im just wondering. If the loader is up a foot or two, and the machine becomes disabled, can you still open the door and get out. I’ve heard some machines have a flip up door to the roof. So if something screwy happens, you can get out. Im asking cause I don’t know much about these machines. Son in law has a Cat. Have a great day, and a great video. 👍🏻👍🏻👋👋
Yeah, that is a good question to ask the door is not able to open if the boom is up so high, but the whole top roof of the machine has a emergency pop off and it also has breakout glass in the rear which I thought was pretty cool my new Holland is the same way, but only has breakout glass in the rear
👷🏻♂️🚜🇨🇦Hi Tom…We are just starting out with our small Homestead/Farm….just 5 Acres and The Ole Church in Newfoundland, Canada! Read your BIO…we are video documenting our journey too. Question: any advice on things we should be doing to get more views and subscribers?
Nice to meet you ! I’ll swing over and check out your channel love seeing people doing similar stuff. I’ll be honest I got lucky I learned a lot from the gentleman down below in the comments Oakiwoodsman very good guy and great channel check them out 👍. As far as getting views and subscribers is keep putting videos out. I try to get one out a week and try to make them at least 10 / 15 minutes long . Short videos really boosted my channel. I got very lucky with one about nine months ago. It just hit the algorithm perfect and went viral. I believe it’s over 13 million views that took my channel from 1500 subscribers to 20k subscribers in less than two weeks time plus it boosted the views on a bunch of my other videos
😏😎🤘🏻Awesome Skid! Worth the purchase! Thanks for the shoutout! 🙌🏻
Thank you and you are welcome 👍
Good morning Tom, great review, looks like an awesome machine. Thanks for sharing, have a great week, Ben 👋😎👍🍻
Thank you, Ben,. It is pretty nice machine.
That is indeed a very nice machine. I do like how the engineers designed it with easy and quick maintenance in mind. The tracks makes for a smooth ride versus bouncy wheeled machines.
I thought that was pretty clever myself most machines you end up spending hours taking apart things just getting to the problem

wow! that loader seemed like it never stopped. Interesting geometry from my seat
Very powerful !

Nice review Tom
Full watch!
Thanks for watching!
I don't want to evolve 😅. I like old gear.
But that's the way things are going now. I had a grader out for a spin will all hand controls, and It didn't go well. Beautiful machine Tom and it would make a great addition to the farm.
I’m the same way, buddy🤣. I love old, mechanical equipment that you don’t need a computer degree to work on 👍
Man that is a nice machine Tom. Lots of bells and whistles. All this tech does make me worry a bit about longevity, but if you need a new machine that’s the market now. I was shocked with how quiet it was in the cab. Thanks for the tour!
Yeah, I agree all this electronic stuff is another thing to break. Hopefully they have it pretty refined.
Hey Tom , that is one sweet piece of equipment . 👍🏻
Thank you, sir
Nice review Tom……appreciate your thoughts 👍👏🇺🇸
Thank you! Glad you enjoyed it.
That’s a sweet machine Tom!👍👍
Thanks buddy
Good morning Tom
Good morning! 👍
👷🏻♂️🚜🇨🇦I could use the Yanmar Track Steer to make roads around our Homestead! Great testing and first use!
Thank you

@fatefarmspa that will be nice for work. 👍🏻
