Thank you so much. My father passed away about a month ago. He bought a BX2680 and the HD blower for the winter months. I am going to be removing the bucket and mower deck and installing the blower for my mother. I have been tending to all my fathers work and equipment maintenance for my mother. This video will help me tremendously. Hopefully I can get a day soon before everything starts freezing. Michigan winters can be challenging and my parents house is right on top of a bluff that gets bad drifting.
Sorry for your loss Rob, my condolences to you, your mother and your entire family. I glad the video will help out 👍🏻, don’t hesitate if ever you have a question. Thanks for watching and take care 🙋🏼♂️🙂👍🏻
felt the same anticipation two years ago when mine was new. its great to know that it can handle the driveway even during a bad winter. just a little TLC and its good to go !
Hello from Newfoundland Canada. I have the BX23S with the same front snow blower and blade. I didn’t like the round skids so I installed the same skid shews as on the snow blower, will never go back. The blade now runs over gravel like a knife through butter. Take care and happy holidays.
New here I have the BX23S same blower and blade I turn my blade backwards so it does not pull gravel. Got out and did some snowblowing today from Tuesdays storm. Cheers
Thanks for watching Robert 👍🏻, my friend has the 1025R with the 54” snowblower and we’ve never adjusted the chute on his but I have to admit I had a couple of times when I wish I could have, especially when the wind was blowing against me. 🤷🏼♂️. Stay safe and Happy Holidays 👍🏻
I’m awaiting arrival of my new bx2380 with the 2822 front blower, same setup as yours with nothing on the back though... are you at all interested in giving me a total length from the front of the blower to the rear most part of the tractor? I’m just curious as to where I’m going to park it (hoping it’ll fit inside the garage) please and thanks
Hi Zac, congrats on the new tractor 👍🏻. Measurements are; 135” up to the end of the 3 point hitch, 125” to the back of the fender. I would recommend some ballast in the back, this will provide better traction on the rear wheels. Thanks for stopping by and I hope you get your tractor soon 🙋🏼♂️🙂👍🏻
@@OrangeismyNewGreen could very well be. Do you have any issue with the blower cutting edge scooping gravel up when attempting to blow over a “hump” or something uneven regardless if you have the “feet” adjusted to hold the blower up off the ground when on a level surface?
I really like your snow setup, I priced up same snowblower from local dealer, not same as where I purchased my BX and the quoted me $6,995 for 55” commercial snowblower with hydraulic chute deflector and drift cutters with k connect and plastic. This price seems outrageously high, may I ask what you were able to get yours for?
The snowblower was $4727 + hydraulic chute deflector $1135 + drift cutters $88 = $5950 - $490 rebate at time of purchase because of the implement rebates when buying the tractor. I purchased the full kit back in September 2020. There’s also the cost for the K-Connect $941 and the Quick hitch 4 point $820. Hope this helps Timothy 🙋🏼♂️👍🏻
Awesome setup! Bet you can't wait for snow. I'm the same way, just got my rear 68" mk martin meteor for my L2501. Is your bx like the L's in that you can run the pto while off the tractor? On mine, I flip my seat forward THEN start the tractor and engage the pto and it won't kill, I wanted to check to see mine turning also. Lol. I figure I guaranteed it won't snow this year in Wisconsin since I bought this, but like you, I'm ok with that!
Hello. I have the same Blower and setup for my BX2680, but the dealer removed my front grill guard to install the Bracket bolted on for the quick connect (that the blower connects too). I notice you have yours installed with the quick connect bracket etc.. :) Did you just use the same bolts holes through the bracket? Is there anyway you could send me some pics of the front of your tractor and how your brackets and grill guard are mounted at the same time?
Hi Trev, I would love to send you pictures but can’t find the way how to insert the pictures in this reply 🤷🏼♂️, the dealer did the install of my bracket and from what I can see you should be able to remove the four front facing bolts and reinstall the grill but I’m not certain if they replaced the bolts to a longer one, you would have to check with your dealer. Hope this helps, thanks for watching, stay safe and Happy Holidays 👍🏻
observation: I better not say a Deere dealer install what they sell. No charge. And they have Deere popcorn inside. And Deere grandkid toys. And mature women who like Deere men . and look like Ann Margaret. The 80's Ann. (clapping sound) Just givin you the business.

Nice simple setup. Doesn't take long at all for the whole thing.
I was surprised how easy it was compared to the setup required for my friends 1025R. Thanks for watching, stay safe and Happy Holidays 👍🏻

Yep I do that sometimes also, went out today to scrape the driveway. Love my setup and I’m sure you also 👍🏻, thanks for watching. Take care, Luc
Well done 👍and you just reminded me that I need to order a few spare shear bolts.

My John Deere blower is the same they don't come with the chute deflector actuator. I added one on mine ,no climbing off to adjust the deflector.

Probably Beet juice 👍🏻
