• John Deere 1025R with ...
I`ve owned green all my life, but JD wanted ALL our green out of our pockets. We said, not this time JD. We went with Kubota and saved a ton of money. Plus when we got our BX23s, they threw in the 60" mowing deck for free because Kubota was running a special deal when we got ours. And we got ZERO percent financing. Of course its all paid off now. We aren`t sorry for buying Kubota. It has been 100% trouble free since 2017 when we bought it. We still love it as much as the day we bought it brand new. Looks like we`ll be orange for awhile, lol.
Welcome to the Orange club Larry 👍🏻😉. Thanks for stopping by and have a great weekend 🙋🏼♂️🙂👍🏻
I think the kubota throws it alot further, everything about the BX80 series they’ve made so much better. I run a bx2370 it’s got 2500 extremely beat hours. All it’s needed was oil changes and tires, filters. The John deere is a beautiful machine, but the BX has so many little pros that they add up, and the machine is cheaper. It’s a no brainer
cheep does not mean good down the road what i saved on the price when new went out on parts later
All these videos I see of the orange tractors blowing snow seem to impress me, not so with the greens. I don't know if I will be able to afford one, but if so it will definitely be orange. Good video, thanks
I noticed in your comparison of Kabota‘s gearbox on the back of the snowblower to John Deere you showed the sprockets, and it did not even have a chain on it but now the John Deere also offers the gearbox there, which is better, but I do agree the Kabota seems to throw the snow quite a bit farther Which I do like
Bought this for my small back deck in the Eastern Sierra. ruclips.net/user/postUgkxoHYZbq5g9fkcAtinlTqstNlje-UQkCHN We get A LOT of HEAVY snow so I was a bit skeptical but it was worth it! After the first storm of the year this has exceeded expectations! It throws snow very well, even 10-12” + that said the more it piles up the harder it is to maneuver the machine. It is exceptionally light weight and overall exactly what I was looking for. If you have a large amount of snow and a lot of area to clear, you may consider something with a drive engine to help maneuverability, but for decks, second stories, roofs etc, you can’t beat the light weight to great snow throwing ratio. Side note, the chute rotator is a bit flimsy and it initially didn’t seem to work, after a few uses it seems to have loosened up.
I checked your link, wow that was a good storm. Thanks for sharing and have a great weekend 👍🏻🙋🏼♂️🙂
I have a 2017 BX23S with a BX2816 50" snowblower. When I purchased the dealer did not have any snowblowers and I wasn't given any options other than manual, electric or hydraulic chute and rotation controls. My snowblower has a chain drive. After four years of use I've had zero problems with it and I love my snowblower. The K Connect system is pretty slick and easy to setup. The JD 1023R may have better loader lift capacity, a tighter turn radius, and that really nice drive over deck but I think the Kubota BX has a superior snowblower. I also use a Land Pride rear blade. I started with an RB0560 blade but traded it in after a season for the RB0548. I was annoyed with the 60" blade knocking snow from the sides of of the snow bank that I had just cleared with the 50" snowblower. Initially I thought I would want the 60" rear blade to make up for the width when the blade was angled. As it turns out I usually leave my blade straight for cleaning around the garage doors and when cleaning up after the blower I just make a few extra passes. The blade with the snowblower is really a nice setup.
I also believe Kubota has the better snowblowers, I don’t know who makes the JD ones but the RADTech blowers are superior. I also love my setup 👍🏻, thanks for watching Christopher 👍🏻
I think the problem with plastic is you really want the momentum of impeller to store energy and help you power through load variations.
I tend to believe more impeller blades is better for a couple reasons. One is Ariens, way back in they day when 4 blades was standard for everyone, went up to 6 blades on their big units.
Also, when you look at large industrial blowers, some of them are packed tight with blades.
Good job on pointing out the basic differences. Plain and simple comparison.
Thanks Rick 👍🏻
I believe the distance gain is because the John Deere was probably having to throw more snow and in turn pulled the rpm’s down. I have a 54 and a 59 John Deere and after seeing the plastic fan it performs no different than a steel one. And I have blown everything from gravel to asphalt.
They are both great snowblowers and I think JD has changed their setup to a gear drive instead of chain and I think the impellers also. The Frontier line of implements from JD has the same blower as the Kubota, that would have been a better comparison test. Thanks for stopping by and commenting Tim and have a great weekend 🙋🏼♂️🙂👍🏻
Yes Luc the round knob beside the loader control plus the lift pto cruise control park break etc. Thanks Ed
Yes I could do that, 👍🏻
Your side by side of the blowers in action speaks volumes. Plastic impellers, chain drive, cable set up for chute rotation,,,,I have the same blower, it does not compare to the RadTech. If JD thinks they are #1, then replace this cheap blower with the Frontier branded RadTech. The 1025r is a great tractor, no argument there. Just up the quality on the blower. Lord knows we pay a hefty premium now for all things green. Thanks again for this video.
I completely agree with you 1025R is a very good tractor but the premium they charge...you would expect better, they probably make more $$ on the yellow snowblower than if they pushed the RADtech 🤷🏼♂️, thanks for watching and have a good week.

You had me at the view of the two impellers. The JD simply can't impart the velocity to the snow like that four bladed, cupped design and the Kubota looks to have tighter clearance between impeller and the sidewall. No wonder it throws the snow 30%-40% further. Thanks for the video!
Agree 👍🏻, a proper compare would be the Frontier/RADtech model. Thanks for watching Dave 👍🏻
It is obvious that the John Deere moved more snow faster than the Kubota in spite of the “faults” that you found on the John Deere!
Exactly. Deere blowers are poorly made.
@@edwinschwartz2472 LOL. FAIL
@@edwinschwartz2472 i THINK IF YOU WATCH CLOSELY THE jd IS IN DEEPER SNOW
Great video! both machines are great. I've had the 54" JD snowblower and it worked great, but I now have the 55" Kubota blower and I think it's a little bit better from my experience. But you really can't go wrong with either one. Both are great setups.
Hey Pete, nice to hear from you, hope all is well. Yes they are but you would expect more from JD, thanks for watching 👍🏻
I will take either one. I currently use a 28” Ariens walk behind for a 300’ gravel driveway and all the paths needed for a 10 acre hobby farm. I don’t mind the walk behind as I get exercise blowing snow. But time for a 4x4 small tractor.
Wow that’s a lot of walking 👍🏻. Either would be a good tractor 👍🏻, I hope you get one. Thanks for watching and have a great weekend 🎄🎅🏻🙂🙋🏼♂️👍🏻
I'm in a very similar boat. A 24" Ariens walk-behind on a 300' paved driveway and I'm 70 years old with a recent hip replacement. Trying to decide if I should buy one of these or just pay some guy with a pickup plow.
I had a JD 47 inch with the plastic impeller, then went to a JD 59 inch with a steel impeller. The 47 actually blew better then the 59. I thought the plastic was a joke too,I am a farmer and used it in all conditions including ice chunks and good sized rocks that got in the way. I never had a problem.
My friend has had his for 5 years now and he hasn’t had any issues either, thanks for watching 👍🏻
you can change the impeller tp steel
Great side by side comparison. Thanks! I just got a 54 inch John Deere snow blower for my 2025R. I was disappointed to see it has a plastic impeller but encouraged by one of your commenters who said he has had no problem with his. Time will tell, winter is getting close :). That said I was pleased to see mine came with a gear box instead of a gear/chain set up like is shown in your video.
My neighbor has had his for 4 years now with no issues also. Nice they have now implemented the new gear box instead of the chain 👍🏻. Thanks for watching and have a great week 🙋🏼♂️🙂👍🏻
your "gearbox" isn't a gearbox, just an enclosed chain case. Gearbox would reverse the rotation. The john deere "parallel drive" is an enclosed oil bath chaincase and I would guess the Kubota is the same. Easy way to tell is rotate the PTO input and see if the impeller spins the same way or the opposite way.
I remember when it used to snow
Nice video! I have the J.D. 54" on a 1025R, love it! No problem with the plastic impeller on mine. One thing about Kubota is the depth of the auger housing is deeper i think, so they can clean out more snow. My JD will dribble around the side if too much snow is being thrown. Were the Kubota doesn't seem to do that. Truth be told I like the Kubota snowblower better but love the JD tractor much more. They both are a good product though.
I fully agree Keith, they are both great products, that’s why they are at the top of this category but what counts is just having a tractor no matter the make, just having one is so much fun 👍🏻. Have a great weekend and thanks for watching
I've had my JD with the 54 inch blower for 2 winters doing 2 driveways. Mine is over 300 feet long. The impeller doesn't throw the snow as far as I'd want but it's fine. I was skeptical about the plastic impeller but it's been holding up. Not too much damage to it. Only other thing I'd change is the chute will only go left or right at about 90 degrees from the front. Would be nice if it it could throw snow back abit when you get to the road.
The JD in the video has had his for 6 winters and he hasn’t had issue either. Thanks for sharing your experience and have a great week🙂🙋🏼♂️👍🏻
I have a JD322 dedicated for snow removal with a 47 inches snowblower, but the older heavy duty one commonly called the "Chest Freezer".
You can do a mode to have the chute turn almost 270 deg by using double pulleys. Did it on mine and works great.
Look it up... Videos on RUclips and also on Tractor forum.

I did a ton of research on all the sub-compact tractors and went with the Kubota. Kubota just gets it.
They sure do 👍🏻. Congrats on your purchase and thanks for watching 🙂🙋🏼♂️👍🏻
I have had a John Deere 47 inch snowblower since 2013 when I purchased a John Deere X540. I can't say I hate any blower more than blowers by John deer except for their walk behinds. I am in the middle of buying a brand new John Deere 1025R. I would love to purchase a Kubota 55 for it.
I don’t know if they still make it but they had a 54” S1SB-54 under the Frontier brand (JohnDeere) and it was made by the same company (RadTech) that makes the Kubota 55”. Hope this can help 👍🏻. Have a great weekend 👍🏻🙋🏼♂️🙂
First time seeing a good comparison of these blowers. Kubota has definitely done it right with their blower. That smile on your face when coming behind the Deere while you were launching the snow down through the yard told the tell. Good video!
Thanks Ben, yep you’re exactly right my smile said it all. Thanks for watching 👍🏻 BTW, you did a good snow clean up at the school 👍🏻
@@OrangeismyNewGreen thanks!
Kubota all the way. Great job pointing out details I wouldn’t have probably considered.
Thanks Timothy and have a great week 🙂🙋🏼♂️👍🏻
It’s not even close the Kubota blower is built stronger and throws substantially further than the Deere. The biggest difference and almost most important is the auger is serrated! I’ve cut through ice chunks the city plow left in the driveway easily with the Kubota. It turned the ice chunks to ice dust. The Deere I had just flung them around in the auger housing and who puts a plastic impeller on a heavy duty blower?
Great video! This was a good way to show the different parts each brand uses to do the same job. ; - )
I’ll be getting a brand new kubota 2380 with the 2822 snowblower before next weekend. I’m excited, thanks for good video.
Congrats on your new tractor, you won’t regret it. You’ll be anxious for the first snowfall 😉🙂. Thanks for watching 🙂🙋🏼♂️👍🏻
@@OrangeismyNewGreen I’m binge watching all your videos. You definitely answered and showed me all my questions. Thanks for all your videos bud.
Glad my videos help 😉🙂🙋🏼♂️👍🏻
Great comparison vid! Thanks for posting!
Thanks for watching 👍🏻.
Biased toward the JD. Said it pick up more snow but forgot to mention that the JD was going through fresh snow whereas the Kubota was going on the part which already had vehicle track marks wher the sow had already been crushed down and displaced. So not a fair test.
They are both very good sub compact tractors. Thanks for watching and have a great one 🙂🙋🏼♂️👍🏻
💥 Great comparison! 👍 My vote goes to the Kubota, a plastic impeller, really!
*Keep on tractoring!*
The idea of a plastic impeller is on gravel driveways when you get rocks caught in between the propeller and the housing it destroy your housing with the steal propeller. The poly one won't do that. Bottom line is once you wear holes in the fan housing your snowblower is ready for boot hill!
kubota sends the snow back to where it came from!
I heard it best by the owner of a knife company. He said, "It doesn't matter if you drive a Caddy or a Chevy. They'll both get you to the same place.
Absolutely 👍🏻

Great comparison video!!
Love my JD 590 w 47” blower. 4 weights on the back. Terra grips on the back tires. I like the drift cutters on the sides as well. Setup works great with very deep snow. Kubota looks decent too.
The X590 is a nice machine 👍🏻and the terra grips are great for paved driveways 👍🏻. Have a great week 🙋🏼♂️🙂👍🏻
Hey, I'm looking to pickup a JD and I've been trying to decide between the 590 or 739. The 590 I think will do the job sufficiently but the drive over deck, and PTO driven mow deck and snowblower and 4wd drive would be pretty great to have.
They are both two solid machines. I guess it depends on the size of your driveway and property. The X739 offers more but is definitely more expensive. Good luck 👍🏻
The mono block hose connections are a joke. The dealer replaced mine 3 times under warranty. Leaking started within 1 to 6 months each time. I replaced the set up with 4 standard Pioneer connectors and not one leak in 2 years.
The appearance of the Kubota is sleek and sporty like Japanese cars, but then again, Japanese power equipment usually is. I had a Honda HT3813 tractor that looked like a Honda car from its time period and even sounded like one due to the inline twin liquid cooled engine.
I looked up the Honda tractor, it was a nice looking tractor 👍🏻. Thanks for sharing and have a great Sunday 🙂🙋🏼♂️👍🏻
Good evening Sir, at 4:15 it is a shear pine and once it is shear the weight bring down the augers and also a counter balance weight ( for having less vibrations ? ) Great informative video Sir Cheers 👍😉

when I bought my Kabota I thought throwing money away,Boy was I wrong never in my life would believe such a small machine could do so much.I bought rototiller I thought it was too big nope works 100%. I know 3 have J.D there buckets are all tore up mine I use for construction and everything in between it needs paint but not big,I've never even dressed the cutting edge yet. I won't hesitate to buy Kabota again
Sounds like you love your Kubota just like I do 👍🏻, they are great little tractors. Thanks for watching and Happy New Year 🙂🙋🏼♂️👍🏻
I still find the Kubota throws the snow better, JD pulsates its snow throwing. How about a video on explaining what all the controls do. Thanks again
Hi Ed, which controls do you mean, the control arm for the FEL? Let me know and I’ll be glad to help. Take care, Luc
Great info thanks. The Orange throws the snow twice as far.
You bet, big difference 👍🏻
Excellent video, I really enjoyed the comparison because you don't always see them so close side by side. I wonder if those additional arms in the JD blower are counter weights to lessen vibration. The Kubota blower also has the snow disperser inside the shoot to break up chunks or wet heavy snow.
I thought the same thing but I figured they were there to break up the snow ?, still not sure. Thanks for watching Mark 👍🏻
I believe those extra pieces on the John Deere are counter weights to balance the augers. But that's just my guess!
I can’t believe that a company like Deere would use a plastic impeller on a snow blower with the chance of rocks and frozen chunks being picked up and probably cost more than the kubota
I know, pretty disappointing, thanks for watching Dan 👍🏻
So many more variables than what was discussed in determining the throw - gearbox gearing, commercial vs homeowner, etc
Absolutely but it wasn’t intended to be too in depth just an overview of some differences. Thanks for watching Joel 👍🏻
@@OrangeismyNewGreen I know where you were coming from and that was great but everyone was saying that the Kubota out throws the Deere and I just wanted them to think a little about what goes into a snowblower and it's performance instead of commenting on a video
@@joelbutler7501 agree 👍🏻they are two different blowers a proper comparison would have been the Frontier model. 😉
Both of these blowers are for residential use. As far as gearing, you cannot option gearing from the factory, it is what it is. Both tractors have 2000 rpm front pto's, so both units "should" be really close in throwing snow. I have a 47" with steel impeller and it never impressed me from day one. Yes it blows snow but not like the Kubota RadTech. When you watch 1025r's blowing snow with either the 47" or 54" the snow stream is weak unless it is very light fluffy snow. I live in a climate where the snow is heavy and sometimes wet. I am always blowing the same snow twice because the Deere blower has no distance. Deere needs to advertise their front mounted Frontier branded RadTech as an option for the 1 and 2 series tractors more. A lot of owners do not even know about this option albeit expensive. Just my two cents worth. I replaced the chain/sprockets last summer with JD's new Parallel Shaft enclosed chain drive, AUC 16953. It is a cheaper alternative to buying new sprockets and chain and bearings when you do your blower maintenance. I find it is somewhat quieter but the throwing distance has not changed. I will say though that my 47" blower is reliable. I bought it new in 2003 and other than regular maintenance it has been flawless.
@@jeanettecampbell4726 you can quickly change the sprocket size on the JD blower and easily throw snow as far as the Kubota. Really no more than a half hour project.
I have owned a Deere 1025r and a BX2380. I can say with all certainty that with regard to snow removal, they are similar. The biggest difference is with mowing. If you have a nice manicured lawn, the Deere blows the Kubota out of the water.
I do agree that the plastic impeller on the Deere is not ideal if you are using it on a dirt drive. There are aftermarket steel impellers that you can add to the Deere that will get you to where the Kubota is. But if you are using it on a paved drive, they are very similar.
After owning both, I prefer the Deere X738 and X739 compared to the subs. The full time four wheel drive works so much better than a part time system on a manicured but wet lawn. Both part time systems are not well suited to mowing. If you need a loader, then get the 1025r. If you don’t, seriously consider the X738, X739 or the X748.
So, again. Bottom line. Kubota BX tractors mow horribly. Deere tractors mow very well. If you are in a position to need a mower that leaves a good finish, get Deere. If you don’t care about the weeds around your trailer park, get Kubota. Snow removal is a wash other than the fact that the Kubota is kind of a blunt instrument. The Deeres are just better to use. Much more fun.
Thanks for commenting Erik, I had experience also with both, I even purchased an X758 just before buying the Kubota and had issues from the get go, the service was horrible and that’s the big reason why I don’t have a Green sub-compact in my garage. The Green dealers have a monopoly in our area and they don’t give a crap about customer service. I never even considered buying the MMM for my BX, I didn’t want the hassle of removing it when I didn’t need it. I’ll agree the 1025 has some advantages over the BX2380, lift capacity, ease of mower installation theirs a lot of comparisons out their on RUclips but for my needs if it means my BX will lift 100lbs less than the JD then that means I’ll spend more time on my tractor having fun! I am extremely satisfied with my BX2380, no regrets. Have a great Sunday 👍🏻🙂🙋🏼♂️

@@OrangeismyNewGreen I think it's a nice piece of equipment, Love the gearing system when it hits heavy wet snow. The JD is nice to.
Tim from Canada suggestions when you were ploughing out your driveway why would you throw the snow a crossed the driveway next to the guy ploughing with you.. you need to turn the auger funnel the other way.. why would you blow snow on the guy next to you
I think the camera angle made it looked that way but it wasn’t really close plus we always try to blow the snow where the ditch is. Thanks for watching 🙋🏼♂️🙂👍🏻
That was interesting and fun to watch. I think that Kubota does a pretty good job with everything they make. John Deere better watch out or Kubota may just pass them.
Like one viewer commented, JD should consider pushing the Frontier snowblower instead of the yellow one when selling a tractor 🤷🏼♂️, even the yellow one inside cheap. Thanks for watching Gary 👍🏻

My wife knows the executive that single handedly destroyed John Deere a few years back, terrible to see these other companies beating them at their own game , I have the 235 gt, which I believe is built better than the X590, my 48” deck had about ten coats of yellow paint , new models spraying fades close to spindles underneath, downhill ever since, saw this from corporate end board members and first hand on equipment- , also what they did to close all the mom n pop dealers which was their bread n butter , tragic slow death of a once great company, it’s coming, peace n love🙏
The Kubota just has a better design. And it shows when your blowing. I’ve seen the berco/radtec blowers on JD sub compacts. Both blowers are chain driven from the PTO

fantastic video
I was having the same issue with the quick couplers on my BX2680 when my plow was attached. While looking over the couplers, I noticed that on each coupler, the notch in the locking collar was in-line with the steel ball that protrudes from the side of female coupler body. I then removed each coupler, wiped down the male and female surfaces, and reconnected each hydraulic line. I then turned each of locking collar, so that the notch was no longer lined up with the steel ball. Not sure if this actually fixed my problem, but they haven't leaked since.
Thanks for the tip Ryan, I know what I’m doing first thing tomorrow morning, thanks for watching 👍🏻
It kind of reminds me of Japanese cars vs American cars starting back in the 1970s. After 20 years of listening to Lee Iacocca telling us how the Americans had finally caught up, but knowing it was a lie, I swore I'd never buy an American car again.
I love my Wheelhorse with the snowblower. Works great in any snow.Wouldn't trade it for no green or orange stuff.

One thing I noticed in the jd I think cause of the 3 impeller it has more snow in the auguer besides I dont trust plastique shit it always breaks especially when its very cold and always use prematurely and that is always to save a buck and rip of customers!!! Besides jd is always very expensive to fix !! Have a good one and god bless !!!

@@OrangeismyNewGreen welcome and you to have good one and god bless !!!
Shear pins are much easier to change on the deere. You have to pound out the ones on a kubota.
Plastic Impeller? Didnt see that coming.
This is a good video but the John Deere had a fresh path of undisturbed snow while the Kubota was rolling over the area next to it that had 2 tire tracks thereby making this comparison unequal. I have no doubt that if you could have created equal conditions for both blowers the performance of the Kubota would have more obviously exceeded that of the Deere. This has also been my personal experience with these units. The design of the Kubota is far more desirable than that of the JD in a whole variety of ways. This is coming from a guy with decades of farming & ranching owning and operating many, many JD tractors and a variety of blowers types. This snowblower design that JD now offers is an embarrassment to their otherwise good name. The John Deere salesman will sometimes say, "No little boy dreams of growing up and owning an orange tractor." But definitely an orange snowblower for me :)
Great observation PJ 👍🏻. Thanks for stopping by and commenting, have a great weekend 🙂🙋🏼♂️👍🏻

Can you tell me if your driveway is gravel or paved, and any idea if these snowblowers can easily work with a loose gravel driveway?

John Deere has an obsession with plastic.
Thanks for stopping by Pete and have a great week 🙋🏼♂️🙂👍🏻
I KNEW THAT WAS GONNA HAPPEN DEER AINT WHAT IT USED TO BE KABOTA IS THE WINNER !!!!!
Yep 👍🏻, thanks for watching Raymond and have a great week 🙂🙋🏼♂️👍🏻
I'm not a fan of how time consuming it is to mount the JD 54" blower.
Totally agree 👍🏻, thanks for watching Kevin. Have a great day 🙂🙋🏼♂️👍🏻
Hey Your in Quebec ,,any how you can have a jd blower with a gear box for the blower
I noticed they now have that option 👍🏻. Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year 🎅🏻🎄🙂🙋🏼♂️👍🏻⛄️
I have the John Deere 47 inch. I used to own a Kubota 51 inch. The Kubota was better. These John Deere blowers are thrown together without any tolerances. It's almost impossible to keep the correct tension on the drive chain. The bearings in the mount also like to go out. The driveshaft angles are bad. Forget about installing the driveshaft once that blower is installed. It won''t fit. Too long. I like my 1023 John Deere tractor, but those blowers are junk.
Thanks for sharing your experience Gary 👍🏻, have a great evening 🙂🙋🏼♂️👍🏻
It's what's in side the gearbox. Which we don't know. Plastic anything isn't a good thing! I will stick with my 318.
Agree 👍🏻, thanks for watching and have a great weekend 🙂🙋🏼♂️👍🏻
Do you want a plastic impeller on your snow blower.
I don't think so
That’s why I love my Kubota snowblower 👍🏻, thanks for watching and have a great week 👍🏻🙋🏼♂️🙂
A couple things here. The JD was going through and moving alot more snow than the Kubota was. That said the basic design for the 47/54 JD hasn't changed in decades because it just simply works. If you concerned about how far the snow goes a quick sprocket change on the JD and it will throw every bit as far as the Kubota.
LOL. NOPE
@@02hreblue30 yep lol.
What model John Deere?
It’s the 1025R with the 54” snowblower. Thanks for watching and have a great one 👍🏻🙋🏼♂️🙂
Thanks for making it! Very informative!
whats the price an warrenty like
I didn’t take any additional warranty, it’s up to 6years on powertrain. Thanks for watching and Happy New Year Greg 🙋🏼♂️🙂👍🏻
Here’s my thoughts. I believe JD has a steel impeller to replace the plastic one now. Don’t know if it’s 3 or 4 blade thou. Your didn’t mention the diameter of the impellers. All thou they looked about the same size. The JD blower was pushing snow out the front, and the kubota was not. So the kubota impeller was taking the snow away from the auger better than the JD. And throwing farther. Kubota looked to be better built. But, I would gladly take either one to call my own. Both will move the snow away.
You are right they both can move the snow better than what I could do with a shovel 😉, thanks for watching Noel 👍🏻
on days like today, inches matter ;)
😏👍🏻, thanks for watching J and have a great week. 🙋🏼♂️🙂👍🏻
Team Orange all the way!!!
You bet 👍🏻thanks for watching Brian
JD was throwing 2x the amount of snow
me it,s john deere all the way i have a jd 180 45 years old 17.5 hp the only thing i replaced was the lect. clutch last year and 1 front tire it,s used all summer and winter
My first ever tractor was a JD D140 lawn tractor, I became an all in JD owner, T-shirts, gloves, hats and toys for my grandkids then I sold the D140 and moved up to a JD X380 again all in, then decided to get a X758 and that’s when things changed, see my video #3. I still have a JD E170 lawn tractor but that’s the only JD product I will have. Thanks for watching and commenting David and have a great week 🙋🏼♂️🙂👍🏻
made a bobo it has a 19.5 hp
I'd take the Kubota
Thanks for watching and commenting Jeff 👍🏻, have a great day 🙂🙋🏼♂️👍🏻
Sorry you didn't get there!
Sorry S Robert, I’m not sure I understand your comment 🤷🏼♂️. Thanks for watching and have a great week 🙋🏼♂️🙂👍🏻
The Kubota just looks designed better.
Although John Deere has since come out with a new model, I believe they no longer have the yellow model. Thanks for commenting 👍🏻🙂🙋🏼♂️
I would take the kolbet
Deere FTW
I vote Kubota we pulled a diesel engine apart back in the late eighties and it was 13 years old at that point it was in pristine condition. Then also earlier in the 80s a kubota excavator had hydraulic hoses that were not crossed (neatly arranged separately by the factory). Which wasn’t the case with a John Deere backhoe on the same job. The hydraulic lines crossed over each other rubbing on one another. Low n behold one burst. Japanese know how to build equipment and cars to that are reliable. In this demo a plastic impeller?!? JD how long do you think that’ll last???
I love my BX, can’t wait to blow some snow with my Kubota. Thanks for watching and commenting. Have a great one 🙋🏼♂️🙂👍🏻
Deere is an established company (in US) and is riding on their name. Kubota is a new company ( again, in the US) and is still making a name.
The Kubota "gearbox" is a worm gear drive, far superior to the Deere's.
I hear JD now has something similar. Thanks for watching and have a great weekend 👍🏻🙋🏼♂️🙂
23hp vs 24.5. The 23hp thew the snow much further
Powerful little tractor 👍🏻, thanks for watching and have a great weekend Glenn🎄🎅🏻🙂🙋🏼♂️👍🏻
Kubota was throwing it considerably farther
It was doing a great job, you’ll see it in action in my next video this Friday, thanks for watching and have a great week. 🙂🙋🏼♂️👍🏻
@@OrangeismyNewGreen It’s a nice machine, I’m partial though. I have a B2650 with cab, with the 63” front blower. Looks like you’ve got enough snow blowing to do, to justify moving up to a LX with a cab.
@@08c6vette Don’t tease me 😉😂, I would love a LX with a cab but I think it would be too big for my property 🤷🏼♂️. You have a sweet one, the B2650 is a nice tractor also, I think it’s a copy of the LX. Have a great week 🙂🙋🏼♂️👍🏻
Kubota by design & obvious performance this test was biased as the JD had total virgin snow
Thanks for watching and commenting, it was a fun day comparing both tractors. Have a great day 🙂🙋🏼♂️👍🏻
@@OrangeismyNewGreen hope you’re enjoying the ‘toys’ it’s a rush blowing a nice path through fresh snow. We used to sell Kubota equipment, I assembled & repaired their equip. Good engines & if they are treated properly & maintained regularly they will last as good as the rest. Plus I like the bright orange 🍊 lol
@@Rokonroller That’s my goal, taking care of it so it will last 👍🏻. By the way the Deere is my neighbors tractor 👍🏻🙋🏼♂️🙂
@@OrangeismyNewGreen excellent 👍
JD is the IPHONE, KU is the ANDRIOD
That’s a good/funny comparison Marvin, I like 👍🏻. Thanks for watching and have a great week 🙂👍🏻🙋🏼♂️
