That would be so awesome if that happened. I'm so sick and tired of these Park simulator games they keep releasing for the Jurassic Park franchise. I mean why can't they give us a survival horror Jurassic Park game like they had with trespasser only better or maybe just some Jurassic Park FPS.

Also, I sometimes wonder if it would be neat to see someone do a fan "de-make" of either Dino Crisis 1 or one of the Resident Evil PS1 trilogy's games, in a similar style as this Jurassic Park SNES game.
@@garganrose Sadly, the video game industry is more about profit than creativity. What Nintendo did to Rareware back in the day is a PRIME EXAMPLE of this.

Whoa, wait! You mean to tell me there was someone out here all this time who was making remixes for *this* game?! Usually, it's stuff like Super Mario World, Donkey Kong Country and other popular games for the SNES. Was *not* expecting Jurassic Park! And this remix sounds so good too! I remember playing this game as a toddler and being equally excited and scared over the dinosaurs in the game. And revisiting it now, this has to be one of my favorite musical tracks from the game. Thank you so much for showing this soundtrack some love! You're amazing!

@@wyvern0m3g42 Yup. Its a different and more basic experience than the SNES one (of course, because its on NES), broken down into specific stages. But it was still fun, and I believe made by the same developer.

Edit: used to play this all the time as a kid and love music to this day. As a musician I can tell you that this is a well-done remix. he kept it simple and also made it sound nice. Also kept it true to its roots, I love this.

I tried playing the SNES game again, turned off the music, and let this playing in the background while I was in the mountain path towards the ship; and it fits so damn well, it takes the experience to a whole new level

This should have been used in the most recent Jurassic World movie! the diehard Jurassic park fans would get it and be blown away from using a score from an old Jurassic park snes game in a movie! I know I would be.
After reading your comment, I tried opening a clip of JW Dominion's cut prologue, while this music was playing. At certain points in the Cretaceous-era flashback, having this as background music seemed to have an interesting effect. Not to mention, the lighting of those scenes looks similar to the picture that Gaming Nostalgia Remastered used.

HOT DAMN. I heard this and my mind almost instantly went to a visual of something vaguely like Late PS2 era graphics and going down a river trying to complete an objective of some form. I could really see this being used in some kind of remake for a dino environed fps game.. Seriously this is awesome, thank you for sharing it.

Thanks. This may be the soundtrack for the mountain level but "Triceratops Trot" is the official title according to the data within the SNES spc sound files.

The game was pretty much complete garbage, but oh...that soundtrack. Ocean always had such good music I thier games. This was my absolute favorite in the game. Long before RUclips, I made a 1 hour tape of this piece, and would listen to it with my Walkman on hikes. This remaster is fantastic, and captures that poignant urgency, the driving power of the drums and the etheric chorus that frames it. Hot damn.
Game wasn't that bad. Not perfect for sure, but definitely not garbage.
youtube is injusice, the best remixes on various games are wlways done by people with the least subscribers
Remaster is an innaccurate term since this is a total remake that follows the theme of the original, but has its own distinct, very different sound.
Working with the original sound sources poses limitations to how much you can improve upon the quality. Therefore I tend to use high quality sounds instead while trying to keep the composition as close to the original as possible.
It sounds a little too metroid esc.
It doesn't have the same funky feeling as the original, but i see what you were going for.
