I'm glad I found this video by chance. I was looking at some Belgian jigsaw camo tests and this review popped up in my recommended. It just so happened that a few days ago I'd been looking at getting a basically brand new one of these packs because I've been needing an upgrade from my tiny 20 liter pack. This in depth review was great compared to the shorter ones I'd watched and I'm looking forward to getting one soon and going camping with it and maybe even trying out a little bit of backpacking.

Thanks for your comprehensive look at this bag. Been looking to replace my old Karrimor SF Sabre 80-130 (great big pack but sadly got full of mould due to my poor storage choice) and this looks like a great contender, they are very similar in many ways. All the best.

I just got a Belgian jigsaw pack. It's in Good shape. I pd 86 from the sportsman guide. Mmn, it's a little to much of a pack. The only thing I'd do. Would be to replace the buckle for waist strap.
Man you got to love the 110L I do like the one I have that's for sure. I totally agree with you, that waist strap buckle got to go, it messes with my head every time I use it. LOL
Thanks for the video! Very imformative. I'm considering a big pack for moving gear and tools about, also for using on a bike. I wondered if you have tried it with a heavy load yet, and whether the straps are comfortable.They look just a little close together for big guys like us, but maybe once the back is adjusted they sit OK ?
Thanks. Yeah I tried it with a medium load and it seemed OK as for the shoulder straps. And for us heavier set guys the waist belt was a good fit with extra length if needed. I wonder how these European internal-frame rucks compare to the ILBE pack. I love my MOLLE II for hauling 50+ lbs. at a time, but it can very unwieldy at times if I'm doing anything remotely technical. I was looking into an ILBE since internal frames are supposed to excel at load stability, but they're really pricey. Would be nice if a pack like this offered the same benefits at a lower price point.
The US ILBE packs on ebay are very pricey for sure. And in saying that, if one was to find a ILBE at a much lower cost the pack would need a lot of TLC. As far as the MOLLE II, I like my setup, from a complete load out to it removable add ons. This alone makes the MOLLE II very versatile. If your doing anything remotely technical I think the 3 day assault pack alone would do you fine, I've packed mine with gear that did me well in trekking down the trails. but I don't know what your technical needs are.
Every Molle II straps and kidney - waist belts that I got was purchased from ebay.ca and .com. I hope that you find what your looking for. Thanks for dropping by. Have yourself a good weekend.
