I love how you explain everything as you go! That really differentiates your tutorials from others, I think. You get some of that from others but not as often as would be helpful. You make it all seem so approachable and I'm a very new beginner so it's much appreciated!
Kristin, I consider myself a beginner , I have red books , I watch all kinds of different watercolor videos , I have purchased lessons on line and many books and different brushes , always ended up feeling overwhelmed and I do nothing 😢 Somehow I ended up finding your videos and I can’t tell you how much they are helping me , your instructions are so clear and SIMPLE 😊, I have been practicing water control from your video , tea, coffee, milk and cream consistency, what an eye opener !!! 😃 I have been also started to learn more about color theory from your videos , again , simple , clear and VERY HELPFUL. I just want to say THANK YOU for posting and sharing all of your videos , you are very generous . I am sure you have made MANY people HAPPY and helped them along the way . Thank you 🙏🏼 Thank you
Hi from UK. I love your tutorials they are really easy to follow for an amateur and you explain everything clearly and concisely. Thank you. I'm looking forward to doing more! Xx
That painting of snowdrops is so delicate and simple looking. Easy to see the beautiful little bell shape flowers hanging. My younger daughter is born 29 January and think this will be the card front I choose. Thank you so much Kristin am very happy with your explanation and art 😊
Thank you for sharing this sweet little tutorial that hints of the coming spring! Personally, I lose the desire to paint snow scenes as soon as December ends, and begin looking for ideas such as this one. I think I'll practice these snowdrops a few more times, trying for a lighter touch.
That’s so beautiful! I’d like to mention, that, if my memories are correct, the leaves don’t curl like this that much, don’t usually bend, but they are straight and maybe a bit thicker. If the leaves grow bigger they tend to open sideways in a wide arch. They curl maybe vertically, or there’s a "fold line" in the middle rather, but remain straight. And also not hat pointed, but have a bit blunt, rounded tip. Very beautiful work nonetheless. I really appreciate the tip for the white, light reflective colour, thank you, as I’m a beginner. I very much adore your gear as well! I hope to see more videos!
I did your carnations yesterday and today painted the snowdrops. It was fun doing but it sure didn't look like yours!!! But then, I am just a beginner with hopes to become better with practice and time.
I haven't ever known of these snow drop flowers. I love flowers and am born in January, I just had my bday on the 5th. I've always known about the carnation for January but not snow drop flowers. So glad I learned this lol so thanks. And beautiful painting btw♡

Love snowdrops, see drifts of them in late winter/early spring here in the UK. I have them in my garden. Beautiful painting 😍

Lovely. Snowdrops are my very favorite flower. They are the harbinger of spring here in the midwest, AND my birth flower. :)
So beautiful, Thank you so much.
Wonderful explanation of not only your painting, but also the mixing of colors. Thanks!
