Seems to be much easier to build if it is inverted and cover/top is placed first. This puts the nuts on the bottom so feet are a good idea but gives a cleaner look and went together smoothly.
I'd like to see your take on a Murania build. It's a single transistor AM radio, it's put out by a HAM radio group, and paying through PayPal made me think it was sketch; but my kit came in 3 days after ordering. I just think it would be kind of neat to see your take on it. It can be found at 4sqrp.com.

Yes you could probably assemble it from the front and use the nuts as feet on the back, good idea.
