    My grandmother grew up on Ormond terrace in Sunderland...I remember visiting my great grandfather there...she and my grandfathermovedto Gloucestershire in 1939....but Sunderland was always home 😊

    Love looking back at sunderland through the years.I would lo e to see Barclay court in the 70s, ive see it in the 80s but would like to see the silver jubilee pictures me dad did the music for the street patry i was only 3 but i remember it.

    I remember the town in the late 60,s early70,s. Holmside,blanford street,all busy shops, Joseph's,joplings,binns,Littlewoods, spinning disc records,now full of charity shops, bookies,

    Kept the best till last. If my memory serves me right, Farringdon up Allendale rd turn left into Aberdare rd, if am wrang currus a birra slack, I left in 1968😊

      Was good to see ol Farringdon again would have been great to see the area before McDonald's was built again

    Better times , felt like you had money in your pocket and people from Sunderland were from Sunderland . Don't recognise it now but still some nice changes and progression for the better !!! 😢

    Not the same ,use to be a lovely day out , reckon in 50 years time ,it,
    L be 1 big shopping mall ,the rise of the malls will take over
