    Good grief! Sophisticated and well executed animation. I'll have to study this. I want to make a rope animating over a pulley surface. Maybe this will help me. Amazing! Thanks for posting.

    Excellent video. For anyone that is wondering this, the distance 10 he inputs for the motion study and motion link is the distance between the links. 36 is 180/5, which is the number of links on the left side when he first splits up the circle pattern.

    Salut,
    Très sympa et instructif, surtout le comportement de mouvement.
    Par contre, impossible de comprendre tes mesures sur tes chainons et tes engrenages.
    J'ai l'impression que ton chainon fait 10 d'entre-axe mais la longueur de ton segment de polygone fait également 10
    Donc ce serait sympa de montrer le schéma de ces 2 pièces, car je ne les ai pas trouvé sur ta chaine

      Finalement j'ai compris mon erreur, je créais les dents de l'engrenage sur le segment au lieu de les créer sur les coins

    la video est parfaite ! sauf l'etude de mouvement ! plusieurs fois que j'essaie et rien ne va ! j'ai l'impression y a que sur la video que tout fonctionne bien. mais en pratique c'est une autre histoire....

      Merci, j'ai fait ça il y a 3 ans maintenant, je ne sais pas si dans les mises à jour successives, y a-t-il eu des changementes fondamentaux. je ne suis plus dans le metier depuis pas mal de temps maintenant, bon courage pour y arriver.

    Tutorial videos without audio instruction are pointless. Add to that a annoying sound musical sound track and you have a waste of time!

      You can follow the steps easily. Are you blind? It did help me see that after all, drag chains can be animated but is a pain in the ass to do
