Really love this game. It mixes elements, music, and content from Super Mario Bros, Super Mario Bros 2, Super Mario World, Super Mario Land, Super Mario Land 2, Super Mario Sunshine, New Super Mario Bros, New Super Mario Bros Wii, Super Mario Galaxy, and even Super Paper Mario.
Well, is there a difference between a mushroom and a toadstool? Maybe it's like the difference between an ape and a human. We sorta feel bad, but still use them for animal testing. Hah.
Since mushroom is rather big part of Kingdom Fungi, types of mushroom might be as different as much as a fish and a human. Also, fungus needs to eat other organisms to survive so there is likely to be a specie of mushroom that eats off another mushroom IRL.

Anyway, I really like the Tank stage that was shown at the very end of this video, after you have 100% completed the entire video game!!!
Steven Villman Bowser's hitbox is only on his head, so you can run right by him if you're small. I believe he threw the shell to the left, so it bounced back and hit him. It's programmed into the ROM hack to flip you upside down or right-side up at certain areas. I couldn't tell you what that backwards pipe exit at 2:15:00 is, but 2:18:00 is explainable. Basically, if you duck jump into a corner at the right pixel, and you uncrouch at the right frame, the game will think you're standing in the wall. The game always ejects you to the right, so he travels through the wall.
What the above person said also this is a tas meaning tool asisted speedrun which is either when someone uses slowdowns and savestates OR goes through and says what buttons to press on every frame for frame perfect input

You could see the system struggling with some of the heavily animated sections. The partially off music for the more memorable tracks was interesting. I assume for some copyright issues. This TAS gets 100%; every world is visited twice, and stuff that was skipped the first time is gotten the second time. (Prankster Comets don't appear until the game is beaten, necessitating the return trips.)

This game is so much fun! I saw Toad catch a Tanuki suit during game play,and I saw him ride on Yoshi, too! Does this have everything including the poison mushroom to avoid?
He never said it was impossible, he just stated that it would take up too much of the NES memory and they would basically just have to sacrifice a lot of sprites to be able to include him, which is what the author of this hack had to do with the levels that included yoshi.
