I absolutely love this. I am struggling this year with the holidays coming up. I lost my brother in April and he absolutely loved Christmas. It's gonna be hard without him here. But I remind myself that he wouldn't want me to be sad and would want me to decorate and celebrate. Especially for his two daughters. Watching these videos reminds me how special this time of year is. Thank you for sharing! 🎄
Holidays are hard while grieving. We have decided to decorate every halloween for Christmas our son.
Hi girl, I hear you. It is sad when you lose someone. Praying you get through this. Praying God hears you at this sad time and he heals your heart. I have a hard time with Christmas too. What I do to get ready is I’ll start to watch Christmas movies to get me in the mood. God Bless!! Xo 😘

I needed this today. Going through a very tough time financially & funding life hard & this really cheered me up. My xmas decor is all 24 years old but its still makes the season feel special. I got it all when i first became a Mum & lots of it has broken over the years but im still grateful to have any at all. Theres always people who have less & so its important to count our blessings x

I love Christmas and the music in this video made me love it even more. I still put out some decorations my son made when he was 7 (he's now 41) and I smile every year I see them. It's the homemade decorations that mean the most to me. The gifts I've gotten over the years have special meanings and I have notes on each one indicating who gave me the gift and the thought I had when I opened it. Watching you decorate makes me smile and I so miss the old days when we had more family around to celebrate the holidays. May you and your family enjoy the season with love, happiness, and wonderful memories!!

What I like most about your videos is your calming voice and how you all show care in how you clean & decorate-intentional but humble. Idk exactly how to describe it for you to understand 🤪. It makes me feel excited to make positive changes and not feel overwhelmed;like take your time,do what you can and don’t sweat what you don’t have. Decor looks great;fav thing is diy pic and shelving.
What an awesome project! Years ago I worked for a physician who would let us wrap the artwork in really nice wrapping paper, ribbons, & bows.
I love how simple you’ve kept it, but it still looks really festive and cosy. I also like to have a tidy clean slate before I start to decorate for Christmas. There’s nothing better than getting the Christmas boxes down from the loft and opening up the boxes and coming across decorations you’d forgotten about.
In the UK most people don’t decorate until early December but I’ve already planned my decorating for the last week tin November.
I really love what you did with your home! I think how you created the Christmas village and wrapped it over your existing picture was genius! I would love to try to do that with a picture I have in my kitchen, possibly using puff paint to make it look like gingerbread houses! Thanks for the inspiration!

I love the look of the more subtle and simple decor. I have taken down my pictures for years and I wrap them up like Christmas gifts with bows and ribbons. It's such a simple thing to do but it has a big impact!

I'm always so inspired by your Christmas decorating videos. I struggle with decorating. One thing I've finally started doing is putting everything out in one place. Before I would just bring in a tub or two, use things in them, and then bring in more tubs. I would find some things when I opened the later tubs that I really wanted to use. This made me go back and redecorate areas. Doubled my time. Now I get everything out at once and I feel better. I've been watching you about 3 years; and now at 76, I enjoy my house more. Thank you!

my husband passed away two years ago and the past two Christmas have been hard. This year I moved to a new home and I’m starting my new chapter. This year has been all about celebrating me. While I still grieve I am young and l choose to live. Extra money would help me create a new Christmas in my new home for the new me.
So excited to decorate my room today, I always just go for it the day after halloween, because I love Christmas so much!! I love to watch decorating videos, then put on my Christmas playlist and start on my room! Happy holidays, everyone!🎄❤️

This year I definitely needed some cheering up to get in the spirit.
These past several months have been super hard on our family. My brother was diagnosed with a very large brain tumor this summer. He’s gone through multiple brain surgeries and fought through many complications. He still has a long journey ahead of him, but he is so strong and will get through this.

We've been in our family home for 3 years and slowly trying to build up our decor collection to bring the magic to our 2 children.
It turned out BEAUTIFUL! I love Christmas and this blessed season! The time I spend watching you gives me peace and inspiration. I do have a prayer request.. please pray for my Momma... she just started hospice and my heart is just breaking. Yes! Covering art that’s not in a winter or Christmas theme is a must. There’s some really nice winter and Christmas prints out there too if the budget allows. What a difference that made to the space 👍.

My mom gets me a new piece to my Willow nativity every year and I totally look forward to it! I’ve admired hers for years but like you said, it’s so pricey, so she started my collection a few years ago and I love seeing it out every Christmas!

My nativity was given to my father in 1972, when I was born. He died nearly twenty years ago now and His nativity is THE most favorite place I love to put out every year. My son his namesake really enjoys it also and has requested that he inherit his grandfather’s nativity. That warms my heart that he wants to carry on having this piece in his home.
Congratulations Amanda as usual you have inspired me. The simplicity is perfect and I love your DIYs. I once did a 6 week making Christmas Decorations course. I have loads of things I’ve made over the years. Funnily enough they tend to be the most loved decorations.
