@@mohank-ox6bs ... Okay lets have a civil discussion. From historical facts we all knew China defeated India badly in the 1962 Border War. Thousands of Indian Troops surrendered and thousands more were killed or missing in action. Even a General was captured by Chinese Commandos. China then unilaterally ended the war ( habit of the Chinese even in the Korean War). The Indian POWs were well treated by the Chinese and all the captured weapons and ammunitions returned to India including the POW Indian General. The Chinese took the land they perceived to be illegally given by the British to India. So what other lands did the Chinese took from India. There are some disputed land which should be resolved through Treaties and discussions. If not happy then maybe India could declare war and fight it out. Im not interested in your wars but nevertheless it would be interesting to watch i would say!

@@banjoman5132 Yes. The economy is growing rapidly. It is backed up by solid data.
Prices are going high not only in the Philippines but in many countries of the world. Argentina has 80% inflation whike Turkey's is at 70%. Philippines has n inflation rate of 6% last year and 3.3% in Q1 2024.
As for the prices of food, why don't you ask the previous administrations why they neglected food production and agriculture so much and why didn't they' something about the high cost of electricity and unreliable supply thereof which is one of the main contributors for the high cost of food, other products and services?
The current administration is devoting a lot of focus and resources into agriculture and the energy/power sector.
No one can remedy the situation in just two years. Every one has to wait for the many programs and projects of the current administration to get completed and produce results.

@@rainieresguerra-uw7on glad I don’t have to answer @banjoman5132 because of your response. The music man may want to reflect that, had the previous administration took courageous stance to insist on the arbitral court ruling favoring the Philippines, it should not so dependent on foreign oil that contributed to high inflation. What Duterte did cussing US president Obama, lost us a friend and embracing Xi Jinping compromised our sovereignty. PBBM has ax to grind against the US, because of what they did to his father but he lets bygone be bygone for the sake of the country and reestablished friendship with the US and many more like-minded countries. Support PBBM administration.

    • @rainieresguerra-uw7on
      @rainieresguerra-uw7on Месяц назад

@@1Dising2u I agree. Marcos Jr was able to set aside his own personal feelings against the US in favor of advancing the national interest of the Philippines.
The Marcos Family believes that the US playrd a major role in the ouster of Marcos Sr in 1986, their forced exile in the US, and in preventing them from returning to the Philippines by filing various cases against them in US Courts.
During the campaign, Marcos Jr was asked about something related to this. He answered that he will set subordinate whatever bad feelings he had against the US in favor of the Philippines' national interest. I have to admit that i had doubts if he would really do so. He proved me wrong.
China must had also believed that Marcos Jr won't favor the US. And they thought Marcos Jr was just like Duterte who could not let go of his personal enmity against the US (arising from the denial of his application for US visa long before he became President because of his activist background during his youth).
China thought Marcos Jr was like Duterte who would be dazzled and cowed by China's economic and military might. In addition, China believed that Marcos Jr was nothing more than a spoiled brat and a weak leader as Duterte propagandized when the latter was trying to sabotaged Marcos Jr's campaign.
Xi Jin Ping and China's miscalculations made them arrogant and dismissive of Marcos Jr in their handling of the SCS dispute.
Unfortunately for China, Marcos Jr proved himself to be more adept in international diplomacy, more knowledgeable of geopolitics and economics, and more eloquent in presenting the WPS/SCS issue for the Philippines before an international audience than Duterte.
Marcos Jr methodically exposed China's bullying in the SCS/WPS and utilized to the hilt the strategic location of the Philippines in convincing leaders of other countries to come up in the open and publicly support the Philippines. Marcos Jr akillfully tied the SCS dispute to the need for other countries to give not only military support to the Philippines but also to help in the economic develpoment of the Philippines through trade and investments so that the country can support the moderniztion and strengthening of the AFP.
In hindsight, Marcos Jr's numerous foreign trips, interactions with foreign leaders and business giants, and speeches were really choreographed carefully to put China in a corner. But that is another story which requires another long comment.

as a Filipino who is just born in 79...i know that my homeland has been messed up by spain, america and japan in different eras, we prevailed in the end...to live in these modern times...i will do fight for my home land until death just like my ancestors. We still stand against anyone who push us to the edge, thank you India, you have been with us in trade and many things good since the pre colonial rules, thank you!

You are demonstrating truthfulness, honesty, fairness, and humilty in dealing with ASEAN countries by respecting UNCLOS defining the EEZ of every sovereign state unlike China who behaves like a bully disrespecting the ruling of the UN Court of Arbitration!

I am a Fil-Am leaving in the US. Even if I don’t live in the Phil, deep in my heart my motherland matters so much to me and so I keep updating myself with whatever I can read and watch that has relevance to the Phil. This is my first time to watch your channel and I got glued to your discussions. Very interesting! When I read from the news 2 or 3 days ago that India was already delivering the first Brahmos to the Phil, I rejoiced and I even admired and appreciated President Marcos more because I know how much efforts he is doing to modernize the Phil military for both internal and external security of the country. Thanks much for these intellectual and informative discussions. I learned a lot.
