i use hockey tape on my carry gun glock 43x and its nice cuz you can thicken grips up and when you "break in" the tape it sorta molds to your hand and hockey tape is less than half the price of Gimmick er i mean Goon Tape
If you're using this stuff for better grip, use skateboard tape. Cut to fit where you need it, it just sticks and only comes off when you take it off. I've had the same three pieces of skateboard tape on my ParaOrdnance since 2009, they're still there working as intended. For that other stuff, I have no idea what you're doing there.

I use gaffers tape. Its the stuff that concert venues use to stick cords and wires to the floor or the microphone stand and other places.

Hockey tape similarly has a stretchy thinner tape as well. Almost similar to medical tape
