Loser is a bit strong. The man still won two chips in an era where the Celtics had a dynasty. Sure, he arguably should have won more. Sure, he maybe had some wrong priorities on the court. But he still put up 2 championships and some of the greatest individual performances the NBA has ever seen. To call that kind of a career a loser like a ringless Carmelo Anthony or even a guy like Durant who can't win a chip without going to a 73 win team doesn't sit right with me. Even though it's probably just in the title as clickbait, Chaimberlain is still a winner. Just not as much as he arguably should have been given his talent.

During Bill Russell's career, he won the league championship in 11 of the 13 years he played. Two teams beat him: the 57-58 St. Louis Hawks and Wilt's 66-67 76ers. That would make every player in the league from 1956 to 1968 that did not play on one of those two teams "losers".
Russell's Celtics beat the various teams on which Wilt played because the Celtics had better players. Period. Wilt had to do the incredible things he did for those teams in order for those teams to even make the playoffs. It all comes down to this: put Wilt on Russell's Celtics- how many titles do they win? Now put Russell on Wilt's various teams- do they even make the playoffs, much less contend?

Yes, Wilt did have a bit of an ego, like most superstars. That said, he was coached to score, big time, for his first 6 seasons, so it is a bit unfair to blame him, entirely, for his teams not winning championships. During all of that scoring he was still pulling 20 plus rebounds per game and probably 10 plus blocked shots, which Bill Russell was doing close to the same, except for the scoring. When Coach Hannum came along, at Philly, he made better and smarter use of Wilt's talents. Wilt was not a "loser".

If you'd switch Wilt with Russel he'd have 11 chips too.
The Boston Celtics were basically the GS or the sixties with multiple all stars even off the bench but for 12 years straight.
Russel wouldve never won the chips he won playing on the teams Wilt did.
The only two times Wilt actually had a team with the 76'ers and Lakers he not only won 2 chips, but his teams won 68 games and 71, which were both the records for most wins till Michael Jordan broke the record and later GS.

Brought back his scoring to about 26 points per game added before Jokic a record 7.8 assists as well.
Russel was a great player, but having players like Cousy, Sam Jones, Vinnie Jones, Sanders, Heinsohn and Havlicek off the bench of which the last one won 2 MVP's and DPOY of which one of both WITH Russel is the reason they won so much. After Russel retired, they got Cowens and they just kept going to the finals. Hell they even had a 68-14 record, which is the 5th best of all time without Russel.
Even with the 76'ers and Lakers(bc Baylor got injured early ending his career) none of these teams were as solid and deep as almost any Celtics team. They were mostly actually good teams, which Wilt turned into two of the top 4 best seasons of all time. Imagine him getting an even better squad with the Celtics for 12 years.

This is just not true. He won 2 Championships and went to 6. Problem was he was never really surrounded by any other talent and was forced and coached to be a 1 man team and still got his teams to the finals nearly half the years he played. The Celtics were a god damn all star team and he couldn't beat them alone. By the time he got some talent around him with the Lakers he was older and no longer quite in his prime and still won a championship. Did he have a big ego? Yes, What top athlete doesn't? Was he perfect? No but, he is far from a loser. He is 1 of if the greatest players ever. Ask Bill Russell, Artes Gilmore, Kareem, etc. Even Jordan wonders if he could call himself greater than Wilt. Oh and by the way when Jordan ruled the NBA rules were changed to help his play style. When Wilt played they changed the rules to slow him down because he was too dominant.
