Great driving ! Still happy with the A052 ? Seems to oversteer at the end ^^ I want to try those on my 2zz Spyder but I really like my square setup 225 45 15 AR1, don’t want to be disappointed :)
Similar, maybe A052's 1s quicker. Much more flexibility with the A052s though as they work from cold, work well in the damp and work ok in shallow standing water. AR1's are terrible in anything but dry or dry line appearing.
It's so weird without lakeside and shell oils etc, they are the best bits of Oulton... makes for a very hard hairpin though. I'd of thought a supercharged DC5 on full slicks would push on harder than this.
To be fair it wasn't the drivers own car. It was his mates as his atom supercharged had issues track side. Totally different cars if he's used to an atom.
yes he didn't seem to push hard at the corners, but surprisingly little difference in the straights. I have met some very fast Hondas including a heavily modified but still N/A DC5R, they were quicker than the s2 exige s I used to own.
I'd expect it to leave you standing on the straights pretty swiftly. When I was Oulton a couple of weeks back I find the corners are the place to kick ass in the MR2. At the same time if I were driving my mates car I would be treading very responsibly!

Love them. Tried MRF ZTRs which are similar to AR1s and I was disappointed, I wish I took my A052s.

Hiya, what exhaust system do you run? I run oem maniforld, Megillian with sports cat but it's 101dB static. Yours sounds good but is nice and quiet.
Rogue Motorsport modified 2zz manifold with built-in 200cel sports cat, and modified 1zz backbox with ebay super silent backbox.

@@MRS-2ZZ Sounds nice, mine feels awful on partial throttle. Pretty inconsistent and has a flat spot at 4k rpm.
what do you mean by oem manifold? 1zz manifold on 2zz or modified celica manifold?
