I'm in the future, now we have something they call an infinity tool, great to fashion in conjunction with trekking poles an emergency splint or an impromptu tourniquet. Marvelous piece of kit. You can buy little hooks for it that lets you dry out your clothes. Mwah, chefs French kiss.
Some other items I like to keep in my first aid & repair kit: a spare gasket for the Sawyer Squeeze; tick key; paper with emergency numbers; safety pin (for sling in case of broken arm etc); a spare spoon (in case you left it in dishwasher) and 2 gauze pads (besides the obvious first aid application, I saw a cool video on RUclips where someone filtered super dirty water using only a gauze pad and two bowls placed at different heights.
