Thank you so much!! I’ve had “issues” with getting the tape placed correctly plus not always following the line correctly (just have a gut if an eye issue I was born with)! One thing my sewing machine can do is sew a scant 1/4” with the press if a couple buttons but it doesn’t change where you can follow a black line - the needle moves slightly - very handy! I’m so glad I found your video today!!
The black lines on the seam tape are a little thick so when sewing a straight seam does the fabric lay just on top or butt up to the left side of the black line ? I couldn't really tell from that distance when you were sewing.
It should have 3 lines - usually the two outer lines are black and the center is red. The center (whatever color it is) is the line your stitching will go on. The other two are 1/4" from that center. You will follow the lines, never the sides of the tape. Hope that helps!
I have this tape but didn’t know how to place it and keep it straight. Thank you!
You are very welcome!
Me too. Glad I watched this.
Thank you. I needed this video and will watch it again as I put the tape on my machine.

You are very welcome - it's a big time saver (as long as you know how to get it lined up straight... guess how I know that? 😉)

I would try one way and then measure to figure out the best placement with your needle
My tape has thick black lines. Do I follow the outside or inside the tape?
