I considered Jeddah as my 2nd home. I stayed there for almost 8 years. One of the safest city in Saudi Arabia. People are helpful and friendly. I always missed Jeddah specially the food.. Ugh, this looks epic! I so love that Mark always seeks out fresh seafood, even in places I wouldn't expect. That fresh fish, fried simply and dashed with those spices, and then dipped in tahini... c'mon now 😑 I've never had fish this way and now I absolutely need to!

Very Quickly before I get ready for work: I LOVE Saudi Arabia excursions with Mark : This one in getting to know Jeddah's freshest seafood from the Red Sea incorporating the Saudi Arabian area. The Fresh fish is incomparable including the Al-Balad pre-salted Fish food from the salty Red Sea. The Najel Red Fish is the "Star of The Show" as Mark puts it. No marination of seasonings needed. The Basal-Onion Based Restaurant is over 75 years old and Mark has the privilege of being escorted the entire day my a gentleman from Saudi; Misho Baeshen. He was incredible on showing Mark how to collect the wonderful seafood in his hands with the incredible Basal-Onion Bread and the spices to mix in with the very flavorful rice....It is only 8 AM here in Las Vegas, NV. But I DO NOT want any eggs for breakfast. I want what Mark is eating!

Some of the best fish i ever had in my life was when i was working in Sudan. Port Sudan, Red Sea, fresh as it comes, served and eaten with some of the nicest people I've ever met. I was welcomed to that place (as a Christian) like a family member. I miss Sudan.

I used to go out with my friends in Khobar browsing different restaurants we always had so much fun. Speaking of Dates oh,,,,they’re the best there . I spent a few months in Saudi Arabia a while ago. But did not experience the street Food only food at high end Hotels since that's where I stayed. Next time, I will visit some local food in Jeddah And Riyadh. Thank you Mark

This seafood looks amazing, and I think that Saudi Arabia is such a new and interesting place to visit. Thanks a lot for sharing Mark ! I have to admit however, that when I am on a holiday, and enjoying a great dinner like here, I also like to have a bit of white wine. Which of course isnt possible in Saudi Arabia.
