Artificial Intelligence in its true sense is not something that is present in video games
A.I. in general that we are accustomed to in real life is very different than what we see in video games
This video does not feature an A.I. that will blow away your mind with something surreal
But what it can provide is countless hours of entertainment
Which is good enough for now until the day comes when A.I. In video games will be as good as something that we used to see in movies of the past days
That level of A.I. Will certainly change the whole gaming climate and be pretty spooky, but not as spooky when your mind plays games with you
Which makes it extremely difficult to discern between what is real and what is not

Where are voices when you wanted to be heard
there is a genuine reason to be concerned, not just paranoia. steven hawking figured that ai would destroy mankind. ai that creates a way to bypass failsafe and controls, then sees mankind as a threat, then takes control of the advanced robots, uses them to make more and arms and begins removing us. takes over military equipment and vehicles etc. could happen.
Ofcourse there are those concerns, with that recent AI algorithmic art we are entering the first stage of how advance they can get with such less resource
I wouldnt call F.E.A.R. A Survival Shooter ill call it Action Shooter when you already know where there position is

Videogame A.I. is something that's always interested me (I'm not a programmer or anything), and since I played F.E.A.R. I got even more interested. Your analysis was pretty thorough and interesting. I hate when so much work is underappreciated, because I've experienced that myself.
That's why I want to tell you: you did a damn nice work, even if your video doesn't get that many views. Congrats, man.

nothing compares to MGS PP A.i. , its 8 years old & Every other game is pathetic in comparison.
Call of Duty AI is totally scripted , Absoloute no logic implemented , its actually embarrasingly poor.
Most AAA titles have Psychic Ai , stand about staring at walls , bullet sponges its painful - I own a PS5 after my PC broke I'm not spending money rebuilding another just to play decent games
As for Real AI in the physical world , there are Black Budget Black Ops projects by DARPA , Boston Dynamics & other entities that are in the realms of science fiction but we will NOT here about this for 25years , a CiA agent (you could orobably find the video) was quizzed about this & he said , its 25 year wait until the public find out.
Oh yes of course, Metal Gear features one of the most entertaining AI that leads to lots of experimental outcomes, far better than whatever COD has to offer with their titles
Seeing that you are interested in AI in video games I would recommend you some games that don't fall in the Shooter genre
Rain world, RimWorld, Kenshi and Buddy Simulator 1984 feature some of the most interesting and unique implementation of AI I have encountered in this medium
Ever played Alien Isolation? Xenomorph AI don't play around.
I remember the A.I in F.E.A.R. When I died it never felt cheap. It felt like the game was teaching me to be better. Most games are too easy or too hard, F.E.A.R nailed the difficulty perfectly.

Real fear 1 need a remake is a masterpiece, fear 2 is not bad but is very action and no have scares moments 7/10 and fear 3 sucks

First of all thanks for taking time out of your day to watch the video and now to the point
I wouldn't say it has improved it's enemy AI, it still feels all over the place and unfair at certain points and you will have a better experience when playing the modded servers with modified enemies
However they have balanced some issues and smoothened the rough edges, the updates have been decent overall but nothing crazy
In terms of recommendations I don't think I have a hybrid mil-sim one that can outdo what Insurgency does, with that being said you can give Call of Jaurez Gunslinger and Splitgate a try if you want more arcadey titles that are fun and responsive to play
I appreciate this video because i have a shitty wifi so i cant play online without tearing my hair out. Strategy game ai or something similar would’ve been a welcomed additions too.
I'm glad you found some use from this video and having shitty WiFi was the major reason why I didn't play many online games growing up
Now for strategy games that have really good AI, i would recommend Rimworld, it has really interesting utilisation of AI, which in my opinion is the biggest selling point of the game
For a more classic strategic title, Age of Empires 2 Definitive Edition is pretty enjoyable too, the co-op and single player campaigns against the bots holds up really good, can be unfair at some moments however overall it's extremely entertaining
Some other examples can be of Kenshi, it isn't a strategy based game, it's more RPG in nature and one of the best in that department
And i would say give Rainworld a try too, if you like platformers, it has adaptive AI that acts in accordance with it's surroundings and all that, it's harsh by all means but still a game every enthusiast of this medium should try atleast once

If you noticed that the footage is all over the place, well it's because at the time of editing I didn't have the game to record the footage as the me dumb used all my remaining savings in the Steam Summer sale
And by the time I got hold of a good recording it was too late to add those clips on the video, I did have the Insurgency Sandstorm in my Steam library because at the time I purchased it I thought it would be a better and improved version of the previous title, which isn't entirely true so there's that.

Fear, sadly, hasnt good AI.
Most of it is scripted behaviour bound to the Levels.
The "AI" itself is very Basic.
Its just hidden quite good.
