Thank you, Sam! I'm happy you feel that way about this video ♥I am glad that it helps you (and hopefully others) to wind down after a long week! Happy holidays to you buddy!
You picked out a lovely line-up of pens and inks for winter! I like the red Pilot VP with black a lot, as well as the Aurora 88. And the purple Leonardo looks SO MAJESTIC. ✨
Thank you, Ru! :) I'm so glad you like the red VP! It's so vibrant and classy looking, I love it. The Aurora has that vintage feel to it, which I love a lot! ^_^ And The purple Leo is also a pop of different color among the pens. It's pristine!! :D Thank you for watching ♥
Hi Maximillian! Thanks for watching and enjoying my videos xD I am happy to hear you like the peaceful and calm vibes of my videos - I try to do that for most of them! But sometimes my excitement does show - so my composure goes away then! I hope you continue to enjoy more videos in the future! I'm just editing one as we speak.
Oh yes, this Pilot Taiwan Anniversary VP just can't be beat. It's probably the best classy simple elegant looking pen of 2023! :D My Aurora 88 was the third city in this series, so I think it came out in 2021 or last year. It's an older pen, but a pen that passes the test of time. So lovely. This VP will, too! :) Thank you for watching, Jennifer! :D Glad you like the color palette!
Thank you, dear!! I love my pg and pgs so much! They are my babies! If you’re ok dishing out 145$ for the winter rain, Amazon Jp will sometimes go that low! That’s a great time to get it!
Great pen list, I would like 1 of each please. The ink palette is very nice with the Colorverse being my favorite. I enjoy your videos so thanks for the work.
Thank you, Rgc! Can't tell your name by your account name, so I will call you that, otherwise, I love addressing my viewers personally if I can! I appreciate you for watching and wanting one of each of my pens HAHA!! Colorverse Alpha Taurus is such a gorgeous terracotta in the perfect pen! I love the combination, glad that one made it to your first pick!! :)
Thank you, Sara! I am so happy you like my Kubozakura (the pink) Sailor! It's literally one of my Favorite Sailors...I'm saying that as I look at all my Pro Gears and tell myself they're all my favorites. LOL! :) Thank you for watching!
A lovely selection. I am loving blues at the moment though I have a couple of pens wrapped for Christmas ( don’t you just love self-gifting 🤣) and I am looking forward to inking them with a dark red and a browny shade. Enjoy your Christmas x
We love self-gifting!!! HAHAHA I have a few pens I would self-gift but I haven't self-wrapped them myself. But we have so many gifts under the tree this year...I don't want to add anymore tinier boxes to the mix. Excited for you to ink up your pens with lovely browns and dark reds!
Thank you for sharing your currently inked, I love how you give some detail about the pens and why you love them. I really love the kobe ocher, but yes it is a good match to both teranishi opera rose and colorverse bruch date. Herbin rouille d'ancre is slightly pinker, and laban aphrodite pink (my fav dusty pink) is pinker again but still in the same range. That Aurora is still so stunning, it is definitely going onto my wishlist for next year! The other is the Nagasawa Kobe Affection King of Pens, I might only be able to afford 2 pens next year... Also you have reminded me that me and my friend were just talking about how montblanc turquoise is NOT turquoise 🤣
Hahaha!!! Montblanc Turquoise is really more like a seafoam green after it dries, and maybe more of a turquoise when it is wet. It doesn’t have enough blue in it once it is dried to be a true turquoise but it might be different on other papers. I just think it’s so lovely that it isn’t like all the other turquoises out there that are very much the standard in the ink world (I.e. lamy turquoise or noodlers Navajo turquoise). I love my Aurora so much!! I’m happy you like it too! Now that king of pen you mentioned…I’ve not heard of it and now I’m intrigued… 😻 And yeah I forgot to do a side by side double check to see how exactly Kobe’s goshiyama ochre matches with rouille dancre, but at one point I did look at them together and was like, yeah they’re the same! lol! Just a quick glance. But I’m happy because rouille dancre is quite dry and I know ochre is dry too but it’s coming out pretty ok from my sailor so I’m happy! I’ll need to try Aphrodite! Thanks so much for watching! I enjoyed this conversation ^_^
Thank you, Tiff! It's my favorite Aurora...and my only one haha! And I don't like cigar shaped pens that much, so given that, this one really makes me happy!
Hehe!!! Glad I inspired you to go with that combination, too! They’re a lovely duo! I was shocked too, but it’s a nice change! Are you happy with how your Viola turned out?
My Fioritura Viola has more of that pinkish purple like the ink you paired yours with. It´s strange they should come in such different shades. Happy Holidays !
Ugh!! I'm so jealous! I don't like pens that are toooo much just a single color, but I will let this one slide because the vibrant purple is just so gorgeous. Thanks for letting me know there was some misty pink/purple in your pen - I wasn't crazy about thinking that it was supposed to have more of that!! XD
Yes, I told myself and others my whole life that turquoise is my favorite color until I joined the hobby and…every single very blue turquoise made me wonder, have I been lying to myself my whole life!? And the brighter blue teals seem to be what I expected when I think of turquoise. So yeah, the fountain pen ink world ruined my favorite color! Now my favorite color just is teal and turquoise haha! They are one.
Those are some gorgeous inks! I most love the purples, blues, and greens, though I'm looking to try more earth tones like the browns on top in the coming year. Of the pens, my favorites are the Kilk, Leonardo, and Opus 88. Right now I'm focusing on using up the ink in my currently inked pens so I can start deliberately choosing what I wanted inked each month, instead of only having pens inked because I just bought them and want to start immediately using them.
Thank you, Ursula! I'm definitely more drawn to blues and greens, but soft browns, peaches, and dusty pinks are totally up my alley for a softer color - though the type of inks in that color range that I enjoy tend to be on the lighter side and thus, more dry, so I have to work harder to pair them with suitable pens! I'm glad I have a Medium Sailor to use such soft dry inks in, it definitely helps! I feel that if I had a MF or F nib in my Sailors, I would not be able to use the color I chose. Browns and Terracotta inks in the Earth tones range tend to be wet, though, so that's not a big issue! I uninked some pens that just came in after trying them out, because I was not feeling them. So I totally get your thought process!
Oh!! I'm not the only one who thought they'd be a great pairing! Thanks for letting me know. I think with my Medium nib...I should love and enjoy that combo a lot! I will need to get past my fear of shimmers in my Sailors one of these days to use that ink in my favorite pink sailor! :D
My Kubo is a Fine nib too. I will admit that Rose Gold Antigua is pretty cloggy right after a fresh inking though and I end up using a brass shim to floss the tines 2-3 times. But it's such an amazing combo, I haven't liked anything else I've tried in that pen. I keep shimmers in most of my Sailors and they are all F and MF nibs.@@KenchanKrafts
@@Quiney08 That sounds about right with Sailor F and MFs. Thanks for sharing your experience! I feel like it’s pretty rare for people to not get clogs with shimmers in a very fine sailor nib so I hesitate to believe my experience would be the same when folks say they have never had any clogging issues in their EFs or F sailors haha. My hypothesis based on how wet sailor mediums are is that I shouldn’t have any clogging issues with it, but only one way to find out!
This is such a quiet, calm video to watch at the end of a frantic week, thank you. Such a lovely set of pens and inks. Thank you for sharing.
Thank you, Sam! I'm happy you feel that way about this video ♥I am glad that it helps you (and hopefully others) to wind down after a long week! Happy holidays to you buddy!
how fun, but first I must get the coffee going !! Oh my, that pale pink pen is divine
YAY!!! I'm so happy you love my Cherry Blossom Sailor! It's indeed DIVINE!! Perfect choice of adjective, Marie!
Wow what a great video!! I love your currently inked content!!❤❤❤❤
Thank you for watching, Pacpac! :D I appreciate you being my greatest F fan!

I really like this video! You are such a calm person! And your collection of pens is excellent! Thank you very much for this lovely video!

Gosh, that Moonlit Lake color is beautiful!
Yes!! It really is! I’m happy it caught your eyes too 😊
I’m from Michigan, and we traveled to Washington DC during the cherry blossom festival. It’s stunning when they’re in bloom.
Oooh! That’ll be great to visit the capital and get a beautiful view of their cherry blossoms! Thanks for sharing that and watching! ^_^
That Aurora is forever a fav ❤❤❤
FOREVER AURORA! ♥♥♥
I love the Aurora 88, but that Pilot VP Taiwan can't be beat in my opinion. Loved the color pallet.

I’m obsessed with your handwriting!

I’m shocked you only have one Leo! I’m going to have to get that sugar and spite to go with mine!!!

I have my Kubozakura always inked with Rose Gold Antigua. It's such a good pairing!
