I really wish a Bloc Loc ruler person would take the time to answer the legitimate questions asked here, especially considering the high price charged for these rulers. I won't be buying them until they do. In the meantime, I'm going to buy the Creative Grids Pineapple ruler because they took the time to explain exactly how to use their ruler and it costs a lot less.
Thank you! I've noticed this on many channels. If you're going to post a video, I think you should answer questions that arise. Also, I've recently looked into these rulers - they are SO expensive!! I just ordered Creative Grids Pineapple ruler. If you'd like a good demonstration of this ruler, I suggest watching Missouri Star Quilt's tutorial. Excellent!
One thing this presenter does is address the BIAS stretching fabric after using this pattern: pineapple! The other presenters with their rulers don't even mention it! And to use starch. Thanks for the tips. I like the small ruler, but the cost is more than I can afford.
How, on the blue and white block, did the triangle corners end up so multi-colored? Did you make a strip set first then cut the square out of that? That was then cut into a triangle?
I think you could just add strips to the corner using the pineapple ruler to trim each stripe and then square up the entire block when you'd built it out enough
Thank you so much for the link to the instructions. I bought the pineapple block ruler and no instructions were packaged just the ruler itself. The tutorial just gives you tips, again thank you for sharing the link.
I saw in one video, you stated the low area is where the word blocloc (not the ruler) goes, yet in this video, you have the name in the high area. I see you don't respond to questions, which is a BIG mistake for I feel you are loosing sells by not responding to peoples questions, no matter how insignificant or trivial you think the questions are! .
I just watched this and it makes the pineapple block look easy. Where can I order or buy this ruler from?

How do you know what size to use? I am thinking the larger the bigger the block?

Okay, I see it is like that due to you are cutting angles, not cutting the square.
