I wish I could answer, but at the time they were in theaters or on TV, I assiduously avoided all fluff movies, including the junk Elvis was in. I do like FLAMING STAR, however. It's a shame he wasn't allowed to stretch as an actor, but I imagine studios felt audiences interested in seeing E were as vapid as the crap pictures they put him in.
@@AnnieVanAuken I didn't watch the movies at the time either. It's in YT clips that other viewers made note of her. I have seen only one or two Elvis movies.
@@moldyoldie7888 I really liked the documentary about E at Vegas, ELVIS - THAT'S THE WAY IT IS (1970), and despite a threadbare plot, the theme song from "Viva Las Vegas" is still excellent! As for Toni B. she shoulda never cut off that beautiful hair. As it says in the Bible, and I am in no way devout, it was her "crowning glory".
@@moldyoldie7888 I doubt it. Long hair is burdensome to most women. The amount of shampooing and such is as much a drag as daily shaving is for guys. In my case, I'm blessed. My scalp never needs attention and my hair stays clean always. Wanna share what I bought myself for Christmas. It's a 52 CD box set of R&B and blues that is so incredibly diverse, everything from the Delta to the big city. Has 1040 songs! Cost to me, delivered: 9¢ a track. LOL www.discogs.com/release/2724507
She taught David Byrne how to dance for the iconic Once In A Lifetime video in 1980. She had an awesome career.
where is she now?
Cool! Never heard this. Would go well with Steppenwolf's "28".
She was in Easy Rider.
She's known as a dancer in the teen Beach Party flicks, right?

@@AnnieVanAuken Swing dancers frequently tie their hair back to keep it out of their face. Maybe she did it for the same reason?
