  • Where America’s population increased by about 0.4% in recent years, these once the most prosperous states of the US are facing immense population declines day by day.
The United States is nevertheless one of the world’s superpowers with exceptional technology, housing, industrialization, career opportunities, tourist sites, and economy. However, in recent years, some of the prominent states in America have faced immense downfall due to one reason or another. The Sad is that some of these states once used to be the United State’s backbones but are now not so likely places for natives to live in. Either they are beyond expensive or lack economic stability, people are suffering and even migrating from these states to find their sound future on the other end of America or elsewhere.
So, today on Discover The Globe, we're going to be taking a look at 10 Fastest Dying States in the United States 2024.

I left Ca 3 years ago because rent was so high and I just rented a room! My son and his family (2 granddaughters) moved to Montana and after they got settled he invited me to join him!!!! I couldn’t pack fast enough! He arrived 3 days later, and they had a house for me to live in !!! The cold weather was exciting but we went shopping for winter coats and gloves and boots! I really love it and my 2 granddaughters are such a blessing!!💕💕💕 my son has a 10 acre ranch and horses chickens , rabbits and black angus beef ! Oh yeah, life is good!! I just turned 80 and feel great!!! Elected politicians ruined Ca !!!

@@marilynwillett804 dude you are generalizing. It depends on where they meet those women, what kind of family they came from, their level of education & place they came from in the Philippines. Do not generalize & do not single out women from the Philippines. You can meet these kinds of women all over the world. In Asia, alone there is Thailand, Vietnam, Cambodia, and even Korea & China. What makes these kinds of women from the Philippines more accessible is that they can communicate in English & they can become devoted partners when respected & treated well.
This makes me wonder Why these men are falling for these women, not for their own kind? And most of them are happily married too. WHY?.....

One of the great things about West Virginia is its high home ownership rate. Sadly much of West Virginia is a very, very tough nut to crack for younger ambitious people (although not nearly to the degree that some people believe)...but it is highly underrated as a destination for retired people and remote workers. Some of the most beautiful scenery in the country, very friendly and wonderful people, and few places in the state are actually more than a two or three hour drive from major cities. Less than that if you count Huntington (a very underrated university city with a metro of about four hundred thousand people), Charleston, Morgantown, Wheeling, or Parkersburg...which have cultural attractions, shopping malls, and just about every modern urban amenity you would find anywhere else.
I never lived in the state myself, but lived on its border for twenty years and developed a very deep appreciation for the state and its people.

This makes me feel good. I live in Texas. We have no State income tax. The State government doesn't spend more that it brings in. In fact, the State has a budget surplus so the legislature passed a bill and reduced our property taxes, about 10% in my case. It would be even better if the State didn't have to spend $Billions defending itself from invasion coming across the border with Mexico. Our law enforcement still arrests and prosecutes criminals including shoplifters. I feel safe.

I live here in California. It's simple really. California has imposed a $20 minimum wage. Right now you can walk in to any fast food place like panda express for example and get a job on the spot which are starting salaries at $22 per hour. The cook starts at 27 per hour. Unbelievable minimum wage. So if you're the grocery store and you're paying your employees twice what the employee in Alabama is getting the foods going to be more expensive. Also the rent here for all restaurants and fast food places in supermarkets is triple what it would be somewhere else that all gets added to the cost so expect to pay eight dollars for a box of Cheerios. I know that's what I pay yesterday here in Laguna Beach.

When this population shrinks steadily due to various reasons like high risk of crimes, high costs of living, high property taxes, and bad environment of homelessness on the streets the businesses will have to inevitably slam their doors shut. The state is dying. We want to know what the facts are that these other states in the union do well with low taxes, low crime rates, and no homelessness on the streets.

Now my wife and I are living on a great retirement package from my that job. Never went underground in the mines. We never went in debt anytime. Keep telling everyone how poor WV is and stop those moving here from other states. man of those coming here from other states must have not heard how bad it is here.

The blind leading the blind. 2 Thessalonians 2-11. A wonder to behold! The hand of God!

I am born and raised in Mississippi. I love it here and in the area i live in our population has increased by at least 5 times in my life time. We like to take life slow and laid back. We hunt and fish. Don’t give a crap about technology. Believe in God and Jesus Christ. And are mostly Republicans. We shoot our guns in our yard and love and care for our neighbors. The only problems we have had in the last few years is with people who have moved here from other states and call 911 every time they hear a shot.
If you like freedom and peace it’s a mighty fine place to live.

The problem is they are surrounded by places you wouldn't send any living creature to ! Sadly it has been deteriorating for about 65 to 70 years at a slow but steady pace from what I have been told. Where I used to walk to school is not even safe in the daylight !.Most everything is boarded up or torn down.
    Massive gang activity,
hard core drugs and all that goes with it ! I will never go back again !
Now most of America is like this sporadically interspersed.

  • @9tiesNostalgia

0.2% of population loss is not rapid, heck not noticeable unless they were super specialists of some kind or a part of an already puny but highly skilled workforce. So if the aforementioned is not the reason then there’s no reason to get triggered. There’s always an influx of outsiders as well which is hard to keep an eye on and major economies of the world have been facing problems when it comes to controlling the inward migration of outsiders into their cities, countries, regions etc.
