@notloc0736 For additional catalyst, I bet. Slots should be made universal or freely changable once catalyzed. The leveling needs a complete rework. If we have to redevelopment increase the xp by 10 fold so we can stop repeating the same missions hours on end. We then could actually play the game normally and farm gear like we're suppose to.
Ironically, we have more flexibility when we dont midmax our descendants and weapons... Warframe players know how insanely bad this is. Sometimes I think developers add obvious road blocks for financial gain with plans to remove them later. That way they are able to milk the players as much as possible while the road block is active, then get praise for removing a road block that they already planned on removing. Just my opinion... Because there is no way that they didnt calculate this and realize that max builds in fact hinder the flexibility of the item or descendant. I realized this after the first week when I maxed out my Ult Ajax, and its hard to believe that they didnt realize this after years of development.
Yes! This is exactly what I've been saying. They're treating this game like a quick cash grab because they realize that it might not have a long lifespan.
I felt the same with the outpost, the drastic change in cooldown from 5min to 1min felt odd, its like they wanted to make it tedious is much as possible so people brought ultimate descendants then eased it back to what was actually intended, though thats my little own theory
@@tgixnz2769 i would give them the benefit of the doubt on that, but still pretty scummy. But when i have seen how the devs treat the game i think they are genuinely trying to make the game good
yall are acting like warframe wasn't shit the first couple of years. this game came out literally 1 month age and you compare it to a 10 game that has had its up and downs
The thing is, we wouldn’t have to Catalyze so many slots if the mod costs weren’t so high, you have to catalyze most of your slots to realistically fit in every module you want to have in a build maxed out, which then causes you to be almost hard stuck into said build with maybe a *little* wiggle room to branch out albeit in a more suboptimal build that the one you catalyzed all of your slots for. You could say “well you don’t HAVE to max out every module, but we want that power fantasy, and to get the max amount of gain from said modules, leading to us wanting to max them all out, resulting in the problems build crafting is currently facing. Module costs are just far too high, 15-16 cost for ONE module is absurd, and the reason why we have to polarize every slot in a build, because most builds have at most 4 to 5 high cost modules, which feeds into the problem of having to catalyze every module slot, which then causes you to eventually be hard locked into one build, basically killing any build variety you could have had on said character. It’s a problem with multiple layers of issues all stacking o top of each other, that SEVERELY needs to be addressed *soon.* The long and short of it is this: Stop punishing us for wanting to min/max builds, it’s the driving force of games like these, so genuinely, why punish us for it?, they need to ease up and give us more space and freedom of build experimentation. I currently am playing ultimate bunny, but haven’t even fully committed to building her out because I just can’t be asked to fully engage with the build crafting system in its current state, it is just not worth the time and effort involved in fully putting together a build for a character, not in the current state the module/polarity system is in.. We. Need. Some. LEEWAY!, give us wiggle room to swap things out on builds at our leisure, or this game is gonna have a rough future, I can’t even get excited for a new character or module etc because of the current issues surrounding the module/catalyst problems. Let. Us. Experiment at our leisure.
Actually there is no differece between too high cost vs too little total capacity. If they wated to allow minmax viability with a few polarities this could just have had more at max level. And I'm not even seeing the equivalent of an aura slot.
They should change it so when you afffix a socket type what it does instead is 'unlock' that mod slot and unlocked means you can change it to whichever socket type you want, unlimited number of times. So you'd grind to unlock all 12 mod slots on a descendant/weapon and each slot is forever unlocked and changeable.
For me, having to level my ult Lepic 7 times is what killed my interest in the game. If you are not Bunny or Valby leveling becomes painfully slow or dependant on finding peaople on the good farming spots.
True, the only way is to find people with bunny, valby or other character like that, at least the bunny cave is super easy to clear so Freyna can do it too, guess viessa too, but yep, its painful to lvl up to 40 a lot of times to max it out, i know its a game of farming, all you can do is farm thing after thing but its too much imo for some things
@@titosusva7174yeah people keep stressing to us that it’s a looter shooter but that doesn’t mean that there shouldn’t be anything actually fun to do in the game other than just farming , they are going to need an event in between the releases of content for people to stay interested something that yields rewards that are actually worth too
Having just experienced this, got ulti bunny followed 1 build guide, 3 catalyst in then saw moxsy's crit build and was like well id basically have to retart from scratch with catalysts, so just commit. But in terms of quality of life Super generous would just be once you catalyse a slot you can change it to whatever Less generous once you catalyse every slot you can change them at will And even less generous just add a new craftable that lets you change a slot without needing to relevel to use another one
The difference between this and warframe is not only the mod cost but the 8 hours required to max any character. At this point, I don't even want to try to build a base descendant bc of the time I would have to invest into it just to have an ultimate come out in a few months. If they're going to make a system where you are required to use so many catalysts and they don't want to give the flexibility to change polarities they need to severely increase exp gain or decrease exp required.
8 hours + 7 and a half per cata, knowing its around 9 catas per character.... 67 and a half hours just for all the catas + the farming of those but you can farm them while researching one so, makes no difference
Honestly, my biggest problem is the weapon leveling. For me, it's way too slow even with boosters on. With a surplus of weapons available, I'd hope to have better balance for weapon xp. Maybe if they increase xp gains by 10% - 15% across the board for everything, including descendants, that be a good step forward.
@vlad-un1pq TFD isn't taking ideas from just Warframe. A paid for BP for isn't an a problem for the intent you're giving it. People only have a problem with it because there's nothing aside from Sigvore's Proof worth getting it for. Destiny doesn't have a free BP and people still buy it for cosmetics. ( Which are usually bangers most of the time). If the vendor that sells weapons was changed to sell 'exotic' goods like Activators and Catalysts for a special currency, that problem would disappear.
@@bkelso61 I never said that it needs to be free, my point is the accessibility of the items and in Dauntless for example is a paid BP but you get coins for challenges and can buy stuff in the game. They could have a store like in Warframe even with a paid battle pass. I don't think anybody would mind some extra catalyst or energy stuff. Edit: rereading your message we had more or less the same idea about the vendor, but I did a poor job of making my point.
FYI they just announced they are working on a way to have each Loadout tab be able to be different polarity builds Also they specifically said in there comments they want people to be able to have a lot of builds and more variety.
I agree man, We shoud be able to at least use crystalizations for EACH settings, Setting 1 Setting 2 Setting 3. Like when you apply a crystal, it's only on one setting !
I'm glad more people are talking about this, but is Nexon listening? Will they do anything about it? Seems this was baked into the game from the start. What are they going to do? Make mods cheaper? What about everyone who've already "maxed out" their characters and weapons? Will they have the ability to remove a polarity from their slots? This issue alone is enough to kill the game in its infancy.
@@deepwinter4263 problems similar to this didn't kill warframe in it's infancy. Just take a deep breath and relax and give it a minute the game has been out less than a month. The devs do seem fairly interested in feedback so if this problem isn't properly addressed within a reasonable timeframe i would be suprised. If we don't see any aknowledgement of the problem in the coming weeks then yes be worried but until then just enjoy the game for what it is.
It would be better to address the issue sooner rather than to leave it just because people decided to waste their time on a shitty system that needs to be fixed bad
It would be so much easier for build diversity if mods of the same type (anti body mods for example) all had the same polarity. Ideally the devs should be able to adjust the coding of the mods to streamline this. However, it’s possible that mod coding may already be hard coded and not changeable. Hopefully the flexibility exists in the background and we’ll see some build diversity in the future.
What i realized is that this game is made to make specific Descendants or weapons for diferent content, like making a Bunny the fastest AOE farmer or Lepic/Sharen/Gley boss destroyers or in the case of the weapons dont just focus on 1 weapon for EVERYTHING but various weapons for diferent things, wheres the fun to have tons of weapons and descendats and in the end just play 1 frikin weapon wow that is "so fun"...
@@ForgottenShinobi11 and queue the crybabies that say nerf bunny because she clears trash mobs lol. You're right. Different characters have different purposes (almost like this was an intended design choice🤔) it's nice to see that at least some people get it
@@dudeguybro-bb1wg I think the main issue is that people are applying the warframe mind set to this game where I must be able to build a character to do everything rather than build crafting around the each of the descendants strenghts
@@doomash5340 right. In warframe you essentially start out as a God and their are tons of over the top crazy weapons and abilities. Tfd isn't quite so ott yet. People should understand its similar to warframe but not identical. The type of descendant you select is important to your play style. Having a diverse team helps quite a bit as oppose to warframe where every character in warframe essential just deletes everything everywhere all the time
You dont need less cost they need to change the polarity. Like in warframe all the dual stat mods have the same polarity, all the defense mods have the same polarity
don’t be ignorant.. in WF dual stat mods like pistol pestilence only cost 7 capacity and are very viable for end game content. in wf builds can only cost 2-4 forma and dominate end game content you have a choice of going for a super expensive build that’s gonna cost you 8 forma or you can go for a 4 forma that you can swap everything out except for your mods which are going to stay throughout every build you make with the weapon. Nexon will act soon enough, they peaked 264k players, they’ve lost 164k so far.
@@amon37 Yes warframe's mods are more uniform, but they also work because their capacities are soooo low. There's only a very few mods that use 16 mod capacity.
@@rainsnowflake4664 ???? why wouldn’t I when I legit have a 4 forma dual toxocyst incarnon build I made yesterday that gets all funny red crits 💀 and dominates sp. You can check yt vids, overframe, anywhere you are clearly the only one who doesn’t play warframe because naming a 7 cost mod right off the bat should have told you all you needed to know 🐒
I think even something fairly simple like having certain mod types all use the same polarity would help a bit. The antibody mods for sure, but also others. That would at least add some flexibility. Either way, stuff like this probably won't change unless they decide to focus on making it a dope game instead of a money grab.
Well said my dude I've unlocked Ultimate Gley 3 days ago and i am currently still leveling her up and applying sockets for mods , it's a real pain to farm her , craft her, then max her and on top of that stick to one build. The leveling itself is why i am spending less time on the game.
thats one of the first things i noticed once i started doing hard mode... in warframe everything is basically viable with a reactor and 2 or 3 formas , maybe even less in some cases... but in TFD you really need to use those Catalysts... probably on all the slots, specially on weapons cuz the hard bosses get crazy and you need to squeeze all the DPS possible..
Pupsker, if I wasn't subscribed to you already, I'd do it all over again. (I literally checked and tried to.). I'm so tired of people arguing against their own interest when it comes to different aspects of the game.... Whether it be boss design, ease of farming, module capacity, proficiency gain, xp gain, etc. I'm still using basic Ajax without any upgrades to him because it's a waste of my time to upgrade him further since once i get ultimate Ajax, I'm not going to have any reason to use normal Ajax. The bad part is i have a build in mind and my modules are fully upgraded for when that time comes....but I'll need a mod slot in basically every slot to achieve it and since catalysts and module ups aren't the easiest things to farm, I'm just sitting on them until I get the ultimate form. If this was warframe, I wouldn't think much about upgrading my capacity and applying some changes to capacity. I can't say the same here because everything is just too expensive and this includes the module costs. Also, my build is full tank. I want to be the defensive bulwark that can protect myself and my allies while still dealing reasonable damage. Right now I'm a half tank because of module costs and catalysts, but I'm aiming for full tank.
One of the problems of the game is that maxing out a character can lead to suffering because you cannot get back any of items on that character or guns, if they put out better characters it's not easy to reap your losses With so many bad characters and ultimate weapons you really have to choose eisely or all your time/effort simply goes down the drain.
I feel this. It’s unfortunate. I’ve reset one character 5 times and another 2. And stopped when I realized this and made the mistake of adding a socket to a skill slot which takes out the ability to use a different skill mod in most cases.
Lower the mod cost and give a buff for unspent mod capacity. In warframe your extra mod capacity affects your starting energy. I’d like them to incorporate a similar type of feature like this because it still rewards players for catalyzing all your mod slots. Maybe it could be increasing your recovery modifier for Mp, Hp, or even both.
If anything they should just limit how many Crystalization Catalysts descendants can use. Just four catalyzed slots, and six open (general) slots. Also they should allow refunding of Kuiper shards to reduce the levels of mods just to fit the max mod capacity. Builds would then revolve around the four maxed mods that are discounted while every other mods needs planning since they can't just max everything out and expect it to fit like what peiple are doing right now due to all mod slots being catalyzed. It's just like action RPGs where the skill tree needs some planning to be optimal. At its current state, it's similar to having all nodes in a skill tree maxed out.
also, i mean, it is time consuming but you can go into you mod slots and reassign sockets to Symbols you already catalysed that slot to before and you can switch them around... but it would take a lot of formas of course but you can do that, you can also set modules back to neutral without losing the catalyst.
while I would say each tab should be just blank for different builds, but as far as space goes if you have all slots socketed that is only 64 points. Your transcendent mod will be taken care of if you socket your melee slot and max out our transcendent mod. Which leaves enough room to have one or two blank slots (only bumps that up to 16 which is what you have remaining) that you can use for resistances and other things you need/want to swap out. There are core mods that you are likely going to always have on like increased HP so at least socketing those makes sense. Again I would like to see the tabs be blank even when that means you will have spend even more time to socket all of those tabs too.
This is a great topic that needs a lot of attention..I’m currently building lepic an I started to realize exactly this..this is why there’s only bossing glass cannon builds for him..cuz there’s no room for a survivability build once you max the bossing build..I’m not having fun btw..3 catalyst in only for a 5 point boost per is killing me right now..how high the cost is for everything is kinda ridiculous at this point
There should be a special material/currency you get passively while farming that allows you to switch socket types once they have been catalyzed. At least then, it would be less painful to change things around. That coupled with lower mod cost would be a step in the right direction.
Ye. There is little flexibility. I was building my Thunder Cage as a Jack of all trades Smg. I couldn't fit elemental mods, the only way to do so is by catalyzing each slot. But by doing that, you can't trade elements. I think that the biggest issue is the polarity distribution. Def mods don't have the same as hp or shields. Same for dmg mods, all of em have different polarities. I think they could do the same as Warframe. And keep certain mod roles ok certain polarities. Like making all hp, def and shield mods the C polarity or all elemental the X polarity. The other option they have is to raise mod capacity overall. Like +15 capacity or make activators duplicate capacity.
Check the latest patch notes. They're thinking of making each preset have it's own sockets. Dunno how they're not going to make catalysing builds not be a total nightmare with that, but hey! They're working on it.
It's simple, we kill the Batman..... wait, wrong game. However, if they just reduce the mod costs of all 16 capacity mods to say 12, then this does fix the issue. It would mean that you don't need to socket all the slots on your character/guns and you can now freely mix and match and not have to lock in just 1 build.
I agree that this is the biggest problem, i have 20 catalyst just sitting there cuz i dont know where to put them cuz a week later a better build comes out with a different type of socket, im just gonna wait it out at this point cuz this is dumb.
Ever consider using your brain and making your own build rather than copy pasting meta? I seriously don't understand, that's a lot of fun for me. I'm not topping charts but at this point the content isn't that hard to the point to where you have to copy cheesy builds to play all the content in the game
@@dudeguybro-bb1wg thats not the point here at all, wether u copy someone or make your own doesnt matter, once u wanna make a different build for bossing or for mobbing youre gonna have the same problem & go farm again the stuff u already farmed to change it.
make it so that when you fully crystalize something you can swap the sockets freely, you still need to put the time into the thing you want to build and are then rewarded with it being ultimately the most flexible it can be
Best idea is if you use a crystal cata on a already symboled module slot it will now have 2 symbols each slot can have a max of 4 symbols and this will not reset your character to level 1 as long as you have a symbol on it already
I built my bunny with almost all the catas used and then saw a video where she deals like x10 more damage per hit than me and started changing the slots with more catas, my first cata to do that went to waste because i swap the wrong slot, but now my last slot will not change because its nor necessary for the build, i have less cooldown mod which isnt required for the build instead of MP collector, i have maxed out MP collector because its good but tbh, if i remove my red mod, the cooldown reduction mod will be handy and also the cooldown mods make the grappling has less cooldown too, so its also good for me who likes to spam the grappling for killing and moving around
Couldn’t have said it any better that’s one of my big critiques with the game so far the modding system needs a bit of reworking especially with the grind to get those materials. Great video man keep up the great work!
I do agree with this. Its was me f ***ing around that made me find how busted narcissism is on bunny and no RUclips vid even mentions someone using it.
I would like for them to fix the performance issues on consoles like frame lags and crashes. And personally I would like for them to extend or not have descendant slots because it really limits on how many you can have and starting out it's not very generous. I understand in need to make money but plenty of people are already buying in the game like the Ult Bunny and Ult Ajax.
Pc aswell, its so weird, with almost all in ultra the game runs with 60 fps average (capped) and some frame drops, with all low the same happens, 60 fps average and drops but sometimes the drops stay almost forever in some areas, playing with 45 to 50 fps until you go to another area
The Descendants slots don't need to go. They just need to add a way get them here and there. There's only 18 characters in the game and 5 of them aren't going to be used anymore once you get the ultimate version. Warframe slots aren't pressed on because you can earn more slots by buying them, buying the Descendant/Frame, or through the Nightwave. TFD just needs a way for people to earn said slots.
@@bkelso61 if they make a way to earn currency to purchase slots and other rewards that will put the game into a better direction, more people will buy, and the playerbase will be drawn back to the game.
To be fair, i've seen floating around that resistances barely do anything anyway...a fully kitted out res mod nets you maybe 20 flat damage off of an attack. Unless math has changed or the individual i watched was wrong. that is a mod slot you dont have to worry about
each build setting tab should be a blank canvas so you can make three separate builds because if you change the catalyst on the second tab its going to mess up your first build
All they have to do is make you so you can put more than one polarity on the same slot. So if you wanted to you could put every polarity on every spot so you could put any mod on any slot and get the reduction
They need to reorganize the socket symbol categories and the sub categories. Even the ATK, Battle, etc categories don't match up between certain mods like the different crit mods. It's ridiculous, almost like they threw all this into an AI blender and this is what got spit out.
With guns you can always build different guns of the same name different ways. With descendants I do agree there should be a system were you can over lap different catalysts with existing catalysts.
I think they should just come out with a super catalyst that we can add into 1-2 slots, which gives us the discount for any symbol without a penalty. Probably earned separately, and are harder to obtain (I'm trying to sell this to Nexon here, in case they see this).
If you have read the dev notes let me inform you that they aware of this and already fixing it....while on Warframe 10 years they did not...the game updates is fast frequency and always is getting better with only 1 month life...updates and changes is being already made while other games took them 10 years now to make QOL updates....
Finally someone talked about how stupid this is, like why in gods name are normal modules costing as much as WF Primed mods with only like a slightly increased max capacity. Worst part they plan to just make the presets have separate polarizations.....
My pet peeve is when you craft a character, and they give you a slots that the character or weapon doesn’t use, I wish I could pick the two not them picking for us.
I think that once you get max catalysts used in a character or weapon, you receive the option to interchange the module sockets whenever need be, it immediately never made sense to me why I had to pick one build and one build only to really use it to its full potential
Totally agree with your points on improving the sockets! The mods enhancement idea is awesome. Making them more versatile and customizable would definitely up the game. More diverse bonuses and better accessibility would add a lot of depth and fun. Great suggestions!
Definitely think they should dumb down the way to get the catalyst and reactor, or make new means to acquire them, like during the survival type mission as well as knock down the amount of resources needed.. that might just be me tho 🤷♂️
I would be really happy if just to start with they allow each Setting/Loadout to be Catalized individually and not effect the other loadouts cause currently you have to really choose between a mobbing or bossing build you can't really min/max into both cause the mods just don't match up with sockets.
They need to make it to where the attunement halves like it does already but a non-matching stays at max instead of doubling. The penalty of double cost is too much.
I guess if the increase with energy activator should be either double the base or at least 50-75% of the base capacity Then only we can have some freedom
This video doesn’t have enough likes. This problem will be more and more realized when more people reach the endgame and it’s utterly Infuriating, especially adding on the fact that many mods don’t even work.
i agree with this mods need some adjustment the time investment given the slow leveling, paired with a "full build" mostly requires all slots catalyzed, is kinda soul crushing 50+ catalyzers and 7 energy amps worth so far...
Seems premeditated to me. Doing the math. Someone set this up purely for min max builds. Very few acknowledge that energy activators do far less than what they are advertised to do…I wouldn’t be surprised if Nexon pull a slick Willy and make it so 3 energy activators can be applied for a max capacity of 120 instead of 80.
The energy activators are worse than the warframe potatoes and way harder to make and obtain. In warframe you can double the 30 capacity to 60 and in tfd you only get +20
@@vlad-un1pq well I would say that’s a “no shit Sherlock” moment lol. But I did forget to mention that I also play warframe as well. That’s why I mentioned one of the underhanded tactics that they would most likely employ to address the mod capacity issue should the TFD community raise enough hell on the topic
100% agree, and anyone who gets to minmax their character or weapon realises that they have very little room to play with, if any at all when they want to try different build, or swap out more defense, or try something new... nope not possible once ur commited. People that would argue against what your point is are just professional pp eaters. They will defend whatever bad design there is and say ur just a complainer. @@titosusva7174 Yeah I get that the game wants me to be engaged as much as possible, but those rolls are completely pointless to even be in the pool, I come from black desert where we run in circles for thousands of hours, I dont mind spending time, but I mind having completely useless rolls like that to bloat the pool to artificially increase my engagement time
Main problem i have is that you have a limited amount of descendants you can use as a free to play. Because then you have to start deleting characters you have invested in or start paying. Should have been something that was added into the free battle pass so that way you can gain slots while putting in time in the game. Im surprized nobody has talked about this yet but its just a bit of greed on there part.
No one talks about it because it's basically the same concept in Warframe. You use a regular frame for as long as you can then you move to the Ultimate/Prime version because they're a better version. That's why I don't put an activator on anyone that has an Ultimate like Valby who's getting hers tomorrow.
@@bkelso61 Sounds kind of dumb tho.. Sorry havent played warframe but if they want you to raise up in mastery rank its kind of dumb i feel. Then if you want a descendant you wanted before after releasing them you have to refarm up all the mats all over again..... Starting to feel this game is a waste of time.
@@masonryekel314 Warframe isn't really a problem with it because every prime frame's parts use the same resources that most people have an excess of over 10 years. I'm sure TFD will get to that point eventually.
I would say you could just get another weapon or descendant to make a dif build for but the game doesn't let you cause the build is shared across all the same weapons.
Nah it’s fine way it is there’s reason. Remember they don’t want you switch mods mid mission? This supports that idea and I kinda like it it’s challenging and in way you can remove it but it’s going cost you and i think on how they want you play to challenge you, I can deal with that also get me engage in watching content creators more in having a good build and stick with it instead keep changing every time I see something better and not just learn how I use set up I have…
the other funny thing about the "best" builds is they always have every slot, minus 1 or legit all, crystallized and an activator and im always like, well yea i would hope your weapon/descendant is OP with that much resources dumped into it lol, basically seems like the game wants you to pick a descendant and fully commit to playing them, i put 2 catalysts into base viessa but i plan to get ultimate viessa before i dump more into her and the grind was a pain tho so it kinda turned me away for a bit, maxed out my nazaestra's devotion tho simply cuz i wanted to use something different other than tamer/thundercage etc
The game is nothing but farming but the way it disrespects our time is absolutely wild. The game could be great and profitable but Nexon needs to ease up that greed factor.
If I could choose which page to put the catalyzer on it would be so much better already, I do also think mod costs are way too high on some mods, all mods do not need to cost 16 maxed, I am literally not maxing out my Lepic build cause it will make me not able to make any of the other builds I want to have.
I reckon if you put a catalyst on they should give you the option to redraw it and give you back the catalyst you grinded for I’ve maxed out gley now I’m stuck becuase I can’t rerange it 😢I don’t mind if you redraw it and it puts you back to lvl one for each catalyst you redraw
I think pupsker has a point l. Like if your new ish to the game if u use your first energy accelerator on the thunder cage then your stuck with the weapon until you reach hardmode. And most characters u get only get enough slot capacity for 4 mods that's it with out a energy accelerator it's sad😢
Game is an absolute headache, the greed is so built in to the game that it sucks the fun out as soon as you try to get serious about it. No matter which way you decide to go you hit a wall
The problem is exactly what I predicted. The game is fun, but it's mediocre in reality. The problem is that Nexon is aware of that fact, so they treat the game as a cash grab by giving us atrocious monetization and a ton of artificial grind to keep us playing because there's no true endgame. Also it incentivizes people to pay to skip the grind.
Whole reason i haven’t built up a character and if so only put one reactor in an just getting mid mod strength cause I'd rather make something for an ultimate. But ya at this point i just put on what i like and maybe a recommend mod or two just to keep em alive but definitely need more options since so many things to do and need diversity for each characters especially if you wanna sink in so much stuff for 3 different settings in a descendant. Waaaaay to much grind for all 3
The worst part is the drop rates. A 10% drop rate is more like .1%. I've been farming for the divine intervention mission for ever. I've shaped the amorphous 14 probably close to 30 times already so I'm about to find another game to play.
Biggest problem with this game is getting Kuiper Shards and Gold, running around with Bunny for Eternity on same place isn’t the definition of fun in my book 😤
You gain capacity also socketing your sub module slot so you’ll go up to 85 I’m not 20 yet so idk if it’ll go to +86 and all sub modules that I’ve seen are an m slot also I’ve fully maxed a Gley and you don’t have to mod your top left slot
I love the game but the catalyst is #1 problem and #2 is reactors power being tied to the weapon in your hand and not the 3 gun loadout are my endgame problems. Both are probably pretty big reworks but I hope they change them soon.
They're not really that big since most of the ultimate weapons aren't using high-power rounds. Most of then are usually going to be what you use most of the time anyway which is usually the case for Thunder Cage. Only characters that can reliably use all of them are Enzo whose a walking ammo box & Gley because of her 3rd in Frenzied State.
I mean how would you medicate this. Trust me I’m all for not forma’ing all the slots but how do you fix it in a realistic way? One solution I can think of is reducing the cost of mandatory/quality mods; blue mods and element mods are a good example.
Count the amount of comments that either didn't pay attention or the entire point of the video went over their head lol, fun times.

I counted how many times you said qol, build diversity, best builds and it was more then the comments on the video 🤣
The issue is mods are way to high 15 or 16 is to much warframe has level 9 mods for a reason lmao
@notloc0736 oh nice I need to drop instead of 8 cac need to use 13 noice oh so fun!
Also they’l lonly remove that roadblock if people complain enough. They’ll happily milk everyone as long as a certain ratio of players are quiet
I felt the same with the outpost, the drastic change in cooldown from 5min to 1min felt odd, its like they wanted to make it tedious is much as possible so people brought ultimate descendants then eased it back to what was actually intended, though thats my little own theory
Part of me don't want to believe it, but also it is Nexon... 😅
@@tgixnz2769 i would give them the benefit of the doubt on that, but still pretty scummy. But when i have seen how the devs treat the game i think they are genuinely trying to make the game good
Biggest problem is they damn near plagiarized Warframe but somehow made it more painful and predatory transaction wise
Yep
fax bruh on warframe you can get like 6 forma for $5 it's $10 for one catalyst on TFD it's insane
@@F2PGatchaGambler And $25 for an orokin reactor known as an activator. LOL.. I like the game, but holy fck, so many pain points.
Your comparing a game that has been established for over a decade and can afford to make stuff affordable to a game that came out a month ago ?
yall are acting like warframe wasn't shit the first couple of years. this game came out literally 1 month age and you compare it to a 10 game that has had its up and downs
It’s a problem with multiple layers of issues all stacking o top of each other, that SEVERELY needs to be addressed *soon.*
The long and short of it is this: Stop punishing us for wanting to min/max builds, it’s the driving force of games like these, so genuinely, why punish us for it?, they need to ease up and give us more space and freedom of build experimentation.
A regular mod at max in tfd costs 16 capacity…. A primed mod in warframe is 14…A PRIMED MOD

They wouldn't make that change and it doesn't really fix the problem you would still need to invest 8 ton10 catalysts.

But in terms of quality of life
Super generous would just be once you catalyse a slot you can change it to whatever
Less generous once you catalyse every slot you can change them at will

they should let you swap emblems on slots if you have 10 catalysts on a single build, or add a new resource we can farm that lets you swap emblems
Same, refuse to touch my base ones over Ultimate.

I think it should be 100k gold to swap a polarity

@vlad-un1pq TFD isn't taking ideas from just Warframe. A paid for BP for isn't an a problem for the intent you're giving it. People only have a problem with it because there's nothing aside from Sigvore's Proof worth getting it for. Destiny doesn't have a free BP and people still buy it for cosmetics. @@bkelso61 I never said that it needs to be free, my point is the accessibility of the items and in Dauntless for example is a paid BP but you get coins for challenges and can buy stuff in the game. I'm glad more people are talking about this, but is Nexon listening? Will they do anything about it? Seems this was baked into the game from the start. What are they going to do? Make mods cheaper? Modding is not big enough to kill the game. Stop being dramatic. Does it suck? Sure. But it's not game threatening.

I think even something fairly simple like having certain mod types all use the same polarity would help a bit. The antibody mods for sure, but also others. That would at least add some flexibility. Either way, stuff like this probably won't change unless they decide to focus on making it a dope game instead of a money grab.
When you use a catalyst you should be able to change the socket type whenever you want. That would fix most of the issue.
Well said my dude
I've unlocked Ultimate Gley 3 days ago and i am currently still leveling her up and applying sockets for mods , it's a real pain to farm her , craft her, then max her and on top of that stick to one build.
One of the problems of the game is that maxing out a character can lead to suffering because you cannot get back any of items on that character or guns, if they put out better characters it's not easy to reap your losses
With so many bad characters and ultimate weapons you really have to choose eisely or all your time/effort simply goes down the drain.
They could easily fix this issue by just allowing to change the polarities once you put a catalyst in the socket. It would promote build variety
Those npcs that are arguing against their best interest are basically just Jeremy irl.
I think a solution to the problem is to have more slots. They can keep the capacity the same but let us have more slots and make leveling much easier
I think that once you get max catalysts used in a character or weapon, you receive the option to interchange the module sockets whenever need be, it immediately never made sense to me why I had to pick one build and one build only to really use it to its full potential
I’ve completely min-maxed my builds on a few different characters and now have no way to swap builds. Gonna just stop playing until they fix it.
The penalty of double cost is too much.
personal tip, use less devence/hp mods. just relay on dubbel dev and a dublle hp roll on externals
I guess if the increase with energy activator should be either double the base or at least 50-75% of the base capacity
Then only we can have some freedom
There are creative ways to work with this system but yeah, needs an overhaul
This video doesn’t have enough likes. This problem will be more and more realized when more people reach the endgame and it’s utterly Infuriating, especially adding on the fact that many mods don’t even work.
i agree with this mods need some adjustment the time investment given the slow leveling, paired with a "full build" mostly requires all slots catalyzed, is kinda soul crushing 50+ catalyzers and 7 energy amps worth so far...
Catalyst shouldn’t be type specific just make it to where when you use a catalyst, it’s now cheaper to mod that slot regardless the mod.

@@masonryekel314 Warframe isn't really a problem with it because every prime frame's parts use the same resources that most people have an excess of over 10 years. I'm sure TFD will get to that point eventually.
Nexon - it’s gonna cost you 50 cents for each catalyst socket you want to change. Just a small price of 50 cents.
Dont min max if you want to be versatile?
Cant disagree. This game loves to waste your time and try to get you to pay to bypass the timer.
The game is nothing but farming but the way it disrespects our time is absolutely wild. The game could be great and profitable but Nexon needs to ease up that greed factor.
they should add seperate aura mod and slot like warframe to gain more capacity and more diversity
Only a few mods should cost 16 points. Everything else should cost 8 to 12 max. This game needs some serious balance on the cost of the mods.
I think 2 mod slots that half the cost of any type of mod would be a nice addition .
There should be a catalyst eraser. That would fix this issue.
Poe player here, i think we need something like chromatic orb, that randomly the socket type you crystalized, maybe fun or not hahaha
Even in warframe i never had to crystal that many times to have a complete build. Weapons are the same way.
So the issue is with how polarities are spread out amongst mods with similar effects. All antibody mod Should be the same polarity for example.
The drop rates are not the issue, tho. It's a grinder. You play to grind and chase modules, amorphous material, etc. - that's the content right now.
they shouldve let you use the catalyst for each of the 3 settings, not use it on 1 and now all of them have it.
Maybe allow a couple wild cars catalyst slots? Otherwise I just haven't been catalysting one slot, screw it.
Seems like an easy fix if they want to do it. Universal slot like you said or all protection modes could
Be the same type
Biggest problem with this game is getting Kuiper Shards and Gold, running around with Bunny for Eternity on same place isn’t the definition of fun in my book 😤
@14:01 No truer words ever spoken 👏
This game could use a skill tree for each character.
I mean how would you medicate this. Trust me I’m all for not forma’ing all the slots but how do you fix it in a realistic way? One solution I can think of is reducing the cost of mandatory/quality mods; blue mods and element mods are a good example.
