I got my 1985 Targa back in 2001. At car shows, it would get more attention than the newer Porsche's. Now, it's even more of a head turner. Every drive I get thumbs up or shoutouts from people complimenting my Porsche. I feel like such a rock star driving my 911.
I have a red 87 Cabrio. I was at a car show, and this guy with a 65 Mustang came up to me and asked me if I would give his super hot girlfriend a ride. No joke. He said they had seen me driving around town, and she kept saying she wanted a ride in it. Being married, I didn't feel comfortable giving her a ride, so I let him take her for a ride in my car. He came back grinning from ear to ear, and he wanted to trade cars. No kidding.
1989 Targa 911 3.2 is my daily driver; I always love getting in her. Had a 2007 550i BMW - not even close for the joy of driving. This is the sports car.
this 911T must be the american version,just because the rear bumper is big and ugly(those 2 big black parts in the middle) somehow the UK porsches original rear bumper is ilegal on US,theres a difference with US and UK versions

My dad's '87 3.2 is just beautiful. Great color, handling, and sound. I admit, nothing comes close, at least to me.
I wish the new 911's were like this, no carreraS, targa4S, Cabriolet4s bullshit. Just targa, cabrio, coupe, and turbo...
